it's a sign of the times that the first teaser for the Heroes for Hire lineup is ASSASSIN FOR HIRE.

Idea how about call it Heroes for Hire and just have Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Every time they been relaunching the series they keep making it with all these other characters that bogs down the series.

Maybe I am too old school in my thinking

I didn't like the recent series, with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing and HUMBUG of all people.

But if they get the right characters, it could be fun. Right away though, I don't think Sam Wilson would mesh well with Elektra Natchios. (Sp? We'll just call her Elektra Nachos.)

Maybe try to make a past irrelevant character cool again, like The Shroud or Annex or some other character that appeared in like one issue of Spider-Man in the 1990's.

And of course, you could always throw Deadpool in there.

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.

They should redo Dial H for hero.

what and pull Luke Cage out of all the Avengers books he's in? well, if they can overexpose Wolverine and Deadpool, sure, we can drop another uninteresting character into the mix. sorry, bitter fanboy is bitter. i actually kinda dug the Heroes for Hire reboot they most recently tried (except for Humbug...blech), of course the problem there is that just after the launch it got bogged down with all the crossover garbage instead of finding it's own legs as a series first.

ill wait and see depending on who else is in the title before deciding if im going to be picking this one up.

I think Marvel needs to bite the bullet and restart everything. Joephisto is already doing it. Make it official and stop pissing of fans.

oh yes, because why piss off a few at a time when you can torque the entire fanbase at once? if a reboot looks anything the Ultimate titles did, then at least on the bright side, i can spend what im spending on Marvel on video games.

Oh I agree Veritech, but they keep rebooting everything one at a time, and as much as I hate it, I would rather them get it over and done with and make it more fluid and organized. Joephisto is hung up on his past. Most of us have moved on, and as a man with a 16 year old god child, I can tell you my god child loathes what Marvel has become. He liked the married Peter Parker. He liked the characters and how they grew.

Ya the only thing I've really liked about Marvel is the Marvel Cosmic books. On the serious side though, while I feel Marvel is creatively bankrupt at the moment, especially in their main lines (Avengers, X-Men) there are a few exceptions to the rule. (Captain America, The Marvel Cosmic books). Having been reading for 25+ years, I'm sick of reading characters who are stagnant, and are not allowed to grow as characters because an Editor or the fan base refuse to let the character move on. With Marvel doing the whole Mephisto thing with Spider-Man, and the X-Men with them jumping on every trendy bandwagon trying to boost up sales, and DC trying to relive the glory days of the Silver Age, I'm about fed up with Mainstream super hero comics.

they're not exactly rebooting things over and over. one would assume a reboot would be something like the Ultimate titles, or the 1st Crisis for DC. this is really more of a relaunch of an old title with a new team. (so me saying the last H4H reboot was a misnomer, it was a relaunch as well) the problem isn't with rebooting characters, it's in trying to do new things that are just gorram horrible, and worse is the knowledge that if something doesnt work out that it's essentially going to return to the previous status quo. there are few changes i can think off the top of my head that have lasted more than a few years lately.

(of course, atm, i say this knowing im looking forward to the upcoming Superman:Earth One GN)

Relaunches are good, as are adding new characters. I approve.

Definitely picking this up! The only thing that could make this better would be the addition of Cloak & Dagger

Y'know, in a way I can understand Punisher and Moon Knight, but... Ghost Rider? Really?

Ditto. I dig everything they've done. And knowing them, Galactus will come crashing into one of the issues at some point.

I approve of the lineup... I don't think Ghost Rider is a strong enough character to carry a solo book, but I like him in a team-setting. Punisher needs more 616 appearances as NOT FRANKENSTEIN (is that really too much to ask for?), Moon Knight is a favorite, and Iron Fist is a favorite. I've never been the world's biggest Elektra fan (or DD for that matter), but I don't necessarily have anything against her.

Still, they need to throw in an obscurity du jour. Let's see what pops out of the random character generator today... Skaar? Ugh. Re-roll: The Prowler. What's up with 'ol Hobie Brown these days?

Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.
