if i7 isnt out before this, im in trouble, but ill come anyway -
righto... so what does the post say? lol
i think hes on the wrong board -
Is it me or is this bugged? if nobody intereferes with the battle the heroes win 99% of the time, only when we actualy help does the villains have control, sure it should swing both sides not just one

I just read Unstoppable gives a bonus to end recovery. Any good? Granted this is not what the power is used for as i understand, but would like to know how it is. Anything compared to kinetics buff?

hmm mayb if your thinking about a completely different topic it would be best to start a new thread -
not only does danger sense help against ranged attacks but its gives you perception to see those stealthy players
-
great build for pure fun, throwing in a grenade and watching the whole mob fly away and seeing ragdolls in the full is great but imo the lack of build up is a major thing, most of your attacks are resisted, and with no build up to increase for a burst that resisted damage just isnt up to par with the rest, but, the acc is a very good bonus
-
your stealth doesnt need the 2 defence buffs either, they are wasted imho and im sure you can find a better place, like another rech in fulcrum
-
yep i got a stone brute and tbh the fact i have taunt is awsome i gte full fury in no time and plow through the mobs, and it keep those squishies nice 'n safe
-
had it coming, cudda seen it like a defender on his own in a pvp zone with no npcs with him AND bieng the bounty. and its for the best, the /ff set is a VERY good set and since the release of CoV it seems to have lost trck, i hope this nerf will help push u guys the right way, of helping your team mates and pets not just yourself
-
i completely disagree with your tree of life a 400% regen rate on all the area is god send, no matter how crazy you go in domination mode, your tree of life shud be nearby healing the damage u take 4 times faster than normal... now any of you doms out there that say that increasing your own regen rate while u domiation on is bad?
-
yep as soon as that small glow appears next to my head i smash the v button(my bind) until my domination explodes, and i throw cars, moniters, anything i can find under the dirt beneath me, and for extra measure i set them ablaze while they are all mass imobed, i just cant help it, when youve got perma scourge on everything for 2 mins... what else u gonna do?!?! ROAR! and yeah i hear the 2k4 male voice in my head
-
he said stone/ as a tanker
anyways, i have a lvl 40 nrg/stone brute, and i wouldnt change it, its so much fun. The single target dmg with full fury, is very high and works well in pvp too (2 shotting scrappers)
-
warburg seems to be coming the new pvp zone fast, its great! it means my nrg/stone brute actually has armor when she pvps, and its MUCH less agro there *coughnogigglescough* although like stalk-obot says, the npcs and server lag in warburg is starting to become a joke, only those who dont care about debt venture there, and no matter what u say us stone brutes take our fair share, theirs alot of psionics in that zone
. but other than the need to turn down settings and the debt from npcs, warburg is fun, and a much more balanced pvp zone

necro/dark
the only time i need stamina is when summoning pets my build has no shadow fall as it uses too much end in my stamina-less build, and im running 3-4 toggles in a fight, darkest night, tactics, assault, and combat/superjump most of which have 2 end reductions in, i have no personal attacks, and i have pahse shift and invis, just incase, grant invis is for pvp purposes, and tp foe, again for pvp purposes, but i manage without stamina, and wouldnt think about bringing it into my build -
Its come to my attention that ID has 30 seconds less buff time that most other status buffs, does any of your kinetic corrupters out there find this a problem at all?
-
resummoning pets is perfectly fine IMO, doesnt bother me at all, but would be great if the final buff would have a faster way to buff. and the worst thing that can happen to any mm, summoning pets buffing them ALL then accidently clicking the door because of camera angle....
But other than that, i dont have any problems with it at all -
I use a necro/dark mm
Once in a fight, with all debuffs on a single target, with fully buffed pets, the chance that the target will actually hit you is very low(unless in pvp they pop yellows) and the tar patch from dark is a dream, also forms a great anti-AS shield for you and team mates. but if youre going to pvp, be carefull if u pick necro/dark, u can debuff a target till its acc is so low its like having PFF lols, but its only 1 target, if some1 else comes from a different direction, they cause a big problem, and u cant tell your DS to debuff him.
as for pve, the 1st tier pets are Very squishie, but are nice meat shields and the AoE dmg, aint too shabby, but what the necro set lacks is AoE attacks, so its slower than bots or mercs at PvE, but the lvl 32 upgrade gives the lich PG and FS which tbh is awsome, and gives the grave knights a scarppper-like chance to hit random crits which destroys single targets in no time at all.
Overall the necro/dark is an awsome acc debuff, which mean u and your pets have nice survivability towards highier lvls, and is nice for single target dmg, but pathetic at AoE.
Thats the ups and downs for a necro/dark set IMO. Hope that helps a bit -
My Energy/Stone is great fun in pvp, i cant stand my ground very well, and if a scrapper, or a mm or some other AT who relies on a steady flow of attack to kill their foe, my fury builds fast, so a quick BU, ET, TF can take out most characters, except for the obvious
but as botty said any kinetics or radiation, or any1 with a -recharge power, really gives me hassle as i completetly rely on hasten for the recharge. Once that runs out im just a punch bag till its back pretty much, but unlike botty im slotted for soloing as well as teaming, so i dont have many end problems, and i serve very well in eam pvp due to taunt and the ability to stand my ground(unless a friendly troller stacks holds on me, or a blaster nicely smacks off my roted and tough) i would never change my build for anything else for pvp tbh. Anti-jump and slow sucks, but thats what tp foe is for
-
Doesnt mean you HAVE to FFA just means u can
but it is kinda rubbish that the bounty is in sirens call and not warburg, it would have completely changed what zone we use to pvp more
-
so from what ive read, im ok at carrying on this? im gonna team alot so ill basicly be AS, fall into hide AS etc, until i get placate and imaple, which is the same time is when ill start pvping, i was thinking of moving those 2 to 18 and 20 trying out a few powers 20-24 then respecing in stamina at 24 so i can at least pvp by lvl 20 a bit
-
Yeah, really good fun in warburg great pvpers, with some of the best there, i was honered to get my [censored] kicked
.
But seriously, why arent there as many in warburg the pvp last night outdid any pvp ive ever seen in SC and it was friendly, non of the flaming across broadcast, and teleporting people next to drones, just a gathering of 2 great teams having a good fun, what more can u ask for.
great victory for the heroes, hope to turn things around next time -
Placate is an anti-taunt, the 1 target u use the power on cant attack you for 8 seconds after you activate it, it also puts you back in hide, so u can AS or Crit your next attack on the target, but, the other mobs will be able to attack you, so sometimes its uselful to placate the fow doing the most dmg to you.
as for the concealment, ss gives slight concealment in pve, but not so much pvp, and taking steath does stack on hide as does the defence bonus but the stealth only increases your visability at long range, as u get closer, it gets less effective, same rule for pvp, so yeah it stops snipers seeing you, at a distance, not close range, not sure about invis, ive never seen any1 use it but i guess u would be undetectable to npcs.
Hope that helps -
I love the look of Spines, but is the SR set a good set to go with? heres my planned build
