Is it me or is this bugged? if nobody intereferes with the battle the heroes win 99% of the time, only when we actualy help does the villains have control, sure it should swing both sides not just one

I think its bugged, longbows actually start fighting while arachnos stand on outskirts of battle, only way to get them into battle is to lure longbow to them

My theory is half the hotspots will go hero and half villain, some of them certainly seem harder than others, and its easy to loose some hotspots even when there's no opposing players around.

They used loads of simulated battles, they found it was about even at lvl 30. I can remember where, just search for castle's(devs digest US boards) post, I think they are about 2 months old.

Not sure how relavent this is but the bar in sirens represents the battles won/lost ratio: red vs blue
am i correct?

If so, what is the Sirens call control all about? because i've seen the villians blue bar totally in control over heroes yet it says that the control is still heros??? (i may have totally missed the point of this post somehow im not sure) just something I was interested to know.

If one side wins enough hotspots to get the bar filled up, it will reset and they will get control of the zone. When that happens you get access to temp powers at the base.

I've wondered about this, and have a theory. Villians tend to win closer to the hero base, and vice versa;

so, when villian players want to jump into the fight closer to the hospital base, they have better odds. Heroes fighting in Fossburg have better odds there because it's closer to the villian base...

...I think.

How many times does it need to be filled to get all the powers available? Two? If so, then what resets the situation, villains gaining control?

2 times for full benefits, lose it once and you lose it all and the other side gets their 1st tier temp powers

Yes, and it seems a bit, i dunno, contrived. Anywho, I had the opposite theory from hammer I think heroes win closer to there base and vice versa. Just goes to show how much your own perspective has to do with it.
