Your weird Flea, now go make me some fish & chips
(I always wait for the issues to hit live, I rarely test. Hope everything looks sweet) -
Whoopsy
See? That's what I get for posting with morning crust in my eyeballs. -
I think it is kind of weird that the "hands-on" preview that MMORPG.com got with GR didn't mention either of the two powersets, nor anything about switching sides. They even gushed about things that we already have right now like they were 'coming soon'
Very bad article as far as press for a new expansion on a heavily trafficed site.
Just sayin'

Okay, I admit it.
I was stalking you Sam, it was ME!
Naow give meh moneys!!
(j/k) -
My Stalker wasn't my main, and yeah, I did play him just every once and awhile.
My OP was just intended to announce his 50-ness to someone and reaffirm my love for brutes, meant no harm, just sticking my tounge out.
I really tried to get into the Stalker business, and was a bit more fun when we he got some love from the dev team, but I never really found my niche in team situations. I'm not saying he sucks, but I just don't feel it as an AT I want to play consistantly.
I think my biggest detriment was that even at high levels on a higer pop server, teaming was like pulling teeth. Stalkers aren't really wanted. When I start teams, I still hear complaints.
I toyed with the idea of IO'ing him out, and seeing what was what, but I really don't think I can ever find his role in our little digital world. So anyways, he's my fifth 50, go me, rah rah happy happy.

Quote:I like the passives for dropping in psi resistance io's. Helps fill a hole plus I like to be able to take damage.
This.
Keep your passives man. Not only for set IO's, but if you plan on off tanking anything substantial, you are gonna need everything you can get defense wise.
My /Inv is a beast. I can stand with any /Stone and take just as much of a whuppin. Granted, I spent alot and did alot of negotiating on my build, but anyone on Virtue that has teamed with Super Destroyer has learned that there is a more fun alternative to /Stone. -
After all this time after the release of Villains, I finally got my Nin/Nin to 50.
Did it the hard way, regular teaming /TF's, no AE ********.
Now I can sleep better knowing he's retired.
Go Brutes
<3 -
Hilarious
Now excuse me because I have to go to church to have my sole saved... -
Two here, pretty much since I started playing.
I look at both as primary accounts, as I have mains on both ends. Inf and recipe transfers and SG managements for alts are SO very easy. I have other gamers in the house (wife/teens) so they get used all the time.
Broke down finally and am PL'ing my Stalker to 50. It was just damn near impossible to get any team even prior to the AE. I just about solo'ed him to 44, got sick of him just sitting there and he's now at 49.5. AE leveling is some really boring crap man. -
Late to the game but:
Every time I think I have seen it all in cinema, someone makes a gem like this.
Well worth the trip to the theater. -
That has to be the best game-type gift ever DB, I can imagine how happy it makes ya
-
Just read your first sentences again, you want an intelligent topic that is unintelligent and dumb?
/shrug
I guess CoX still fits the bill, lots of really great stuff connected to a lot of really stupid people.

How about the game itself? Seems like a no-brainer for your first outing.
-
I totally agree with you, being that I am a traditionalist hero-type name person, and I welcome any kind of name releases. But..
I don't really know squat about forum rules, but I think they frown on petitions? I really don't care either way, but I would like to see this get noticed.
Count the spider signed. -
I'm guilty.
I like reading the Rookery threads.
I have to know who is currently sick, becoming sick, or getting over being sick. That **** is important to me. -
Fedor, meet Haetron.
Fedor, you can't win.
It's Haet.
He is my inspiration and legend, I makes a shrine to Haet and worship his Haet-ness.
Welcome back Haet, I miss thee and thy haet.
Oh, and by the way, I hate everyone equally. Even Haetron. -
This thread made me think a bit.
I suppose that there is a similarity to how I game here. I'm a lead supervisor in a manufacturing plant, a big one, and I handle the responsibility of multi-million dollars of equipment on a daily basis. I lead and delegate responsibility to alot of my employees, and I just about fix anything there when needed.
I normally play Brutes and Tankers. But I do have Blasters and Scrappers on my roster. In most cases I do take the lead in missions and Task Forces, blazing the trail. The only downside is that due to my work, I really don't like starting teams, I would rather hand that off to someone else, just point me in the direction and let me kick some virtual ***.
I think the natural choice for me would be controllers? But I don't like being "support" I like being the front line. No matter what I am doing. -
Detra, just wanted to say, I saw Motley back in 1989 during the Dr. Feelgood tour, Warrant opened up for them
One of the best concerts I ever saw! Sorry, had to say it :P

I like you well enough Fourth, Happy Birthday to you
-
Good luck with your group!
Trying to refrain from a WoW snarky post because of your avatar, hope I suceeded. -
Yeah, the acting was a bit wonky, plot holes abound, but!
It was what it was supposed to be, a fun forget-about-your-troubles, exciting summer action picture, nothing more, nothing less. I had a great time, and I would enjoy a sequel.
I'm glad the studio declined to screen it for critics before release, all they would have done is slam it hard while they stuffed their fat ***** with expensive cheese and wine.
Not every movie has to be an academy award winning formula with overpaid actors.
Go Joe Yo. -
PK..PK..PK..
I see your point dude, and I totally understand. I want to give you an example of why possibly more people might not lead.
In the shiny oxygen-rich thing we call the real world, my job is in supervision. I am a leader in real life, through and through. I have to deal with throngs of people, some quite dumb, and multi-million dollars of equipment on a daily basis.
CoX is my escape, and I find utter joy in simply punching **** in the face, or stabbing necks. I do run an occaisional squad here and there, but I would rather not.
Just saying that I have friends in the game who are professions like dentists, and even my fiancee' is a nurse by trade and she is like me as well. Not everyone wants to log in to a responsibility, even if it is small like simply running a team. -
Brutes are my favorite AT, and I'm a serious vet. I never ask for help usually, but I need help pairing a secondary with DB/. Yeah, I know about DB, but I have a really good concept that I want to play. I have fun with just about everything.
I have played to higher levels or capped just about every secondary into Brutes, but I'm kind of stumped here. I was thinking maybe /INV, most for the ToHit buff from Invincibility to help out with the lethal damage resists in PvE. But that is the crux, I have two capped /INV already.. I don't know what I want to do here.
Each set has it's pros and cons, and I have always leaned toward non-defense sets. Suggestions, and why?
(I love being beastlike as far as 'tanking' goes, I think the only set I wouldn't pair up with would be /EA)
Help a spider out! -
Awesome! Is this a Fourth thread?
(Just kiddin' Fourth <3)
