    How Do I ...

Just a side note. Force Field has Aid Self for custom critters.

Only one power but still, thought it was worth mentioning

It still works this way so far as I know(I have since respec'd out DF).

It's the caster that has to be made intangible(specifically the only affects self flag) for it to stop working.
  3. I've personally gotten the greatest use of the single target intagibility powers when duoed with a rad/dark or the like with target debuff AoE's

    Example:

Duoing on my FF with a Fire/Rad

My friend uses his rad debuffs on a target of his choosing(usually a boss), then I hit it with detention field so that it can't attack or move(the debuff aura still affects enemies when the anchor is intangible)

This makes sure that it won't be killed until last.

This method can be transfered to any aura debuff such as darkest night, snow storm, etc.

Also, I make the detention field power Bright Red(my normal bubbles are Gold/Blue) to disinguish it and make it easily visible.

    Animate Stone

Alot of 50/50 here, thought I'd answer it so everyone could be clear on the correct answer

Pet resistance cap is indeed 90%

This INCLUDES psi, all that 100% resistance means is he has a 10% cushion before falling below 90%. His inherent 'Resistance' is simply an auto power which buffs the damage resistance, just because it has a 100% buff doesn't mean it can surpass the cap.

Here's a few pictures for the 'Pics or it didn't happen' people

Picture 1, a view of his DR combat attributes with sonic buffs

    Picture 1

And Picture 2, a shot of one of my earth controllers with him taking psi damage.

    Picture 2

Edit: I just realized I never answered the other question , the -25% to-hit is indeed his chance to-hit, however it is an arbitrary debuff as it is never cast on him for whatever reason. His to-hit chance is the same 75% base that all pets have.

Picture 3, a pic of him without accuracy enhancement against an even con minion, with the normal 75% chance to hit, the last of which has him buffed with my fortitude(a base 15% to-hit buff on a controller) for a 90% chance to hit

    Picture 3
  5. Just wanted to add this since it hasn't been mentioned:

Not only will the purple patch affect it, but the rank of an enemy also adds to-hit debuff resistance.

    Lieutenants and Snipers get 10%
Bosses and Elite Bosses get 20%
And of course Arch-Villains get scaling resistance based on Level
    (Examples: 60% at level 1, 85% at level 50, 87% at 54)

Edit: I was going to link to Paragonwiki, but I couldn't find a page that listed it

This sounds about right to me. I know at least that pets don't count, since the first thing I tried upon getting it was throwing out a vet pet to see if it would.

NPC allies do not count(whether it be summoned pets or following allies)

Only teammates, as I stated in my previous post in BIG ORANGE LETTERS
  7. Here's the full details for anyone who likes to know everything about everything(*raises hand*)

Phalanx Fighting provides a constant base defense bonus.

5% for Tankers, 3.75% for Scrappers/Brutes. THIS BONUS IS UNENHANCEABLE.

It also provides a defense bonus for up to 3 teammates in an 8 foot range. TEAMMATES ONLY, NOT ALL ALLIES.

3% for Tankers, 2.25% for Scrappers/Brutes. This bonus IS enhanceable.

    So, heres the breakdown:

    Code:
    PF UNENHANCED:

                    Tanker Scrapper/Brute
    Solo: 5% 3.75%
    1 in range 8% 6%
    2 in range 11% 8.25%
    3 in range 14% 10.5%
    Code:
PF ENHANCED with 3 even level defense SOs

                    Tanker Scrapper/Brute
    Solo: 5% 3.75%
    1 in range 9.68% 7.26%
    2 in range 14.36% 10.77&
    3 in range 19.04% 14.28%

    Hope that clears everything up

Blasters yes, DP is -250% -regen(Lingering is -500%, unless you include dominators, psionic assault's DP is -500%)

    Also, the -res is

    -20 for defenders
    -15% for corruptors
    -13% for blasters

The hard part is getting softcapped ranged defense AND perma DP(it requires around 130% global recharge including enhancements and hasten )

All that said, I think -250% regen combined with blaster base damage and defiance on top of the -13% res and having aim/build up(concentration) would be enough to kill a GM, but the build would be far more expensive than something you could put together with a defender/corruptor
  9. Sunstorm is under the Peacebringer group, between Paragon Protectors and Pets. However, his costume is the PPD style costume, not the one you see in Atlas park.

Castle isn't a selectable one as far as I know
  10. Seconded, I have it happen occasionally too, and have friends who've talked about it.

Generally nothing to worry about unless it happens constantly and/or you see suspicious activity on your characters(like being deleted, and the things you listed)

This is especially likely if you crash out of the the game and just decide to quit for the night, your character won't get logged properly from a crash alot of the time.

What is the whole mission objective? Certain missions require you to lead a person to the particular glowie/objective.

Perma-Unstoppable is impossible period, independantly or not. Even at max recharge it would have 20 seconds downtime.

Having a power on perma means having it recharge before it wears off.

To calculate, take the base recharge of a power and divide it by 5.
If that value is greater than the duration, it can be perma with SOME Level of recharge(though not necessarily independantly).

To see just how much you'd need, simply divide the base recharge by the duration and subtract 1.

    Examples:

Hasten: Base recharge: 450 seconds, duration 120 seconds.

    450/5 = 90
    90<120
Therefore, Hasten can be made perma, but how much is required?

(450/120) - 1 = 2.75 or +275% total recharge required(3 level 50 IOs+hasten's buff itself will give you about 170, leaving about 105% for you to get elsewhere(whether it be set bonuses, buffs, w/e)

Dull Pain: Base Recharge 360 Seconds, Duration 120 seconds

    360/5= 72
72<120 Therefore, DP can be made perma

    (360/120) -1 = 2.0 or +200% total recharge required
IOs+hasten will leave you with ~30% to get elsewhere

Unstoppable, Elude, Power Surge, Overload: base recharge 1000 seconds, duration 180 seconds

    1000/5 = 200

200>180, Therefore, they are not perma-able

Rage: Base recharge 240 seconds, duration 120

    240/5 = 48

48<120, , Therefore, not only is it perma-able, it's also perma-stackable up to 2 times

    (240/120) - 1= 1.0 or +100% recharge required(easy enough with just enhancements+hasten)
  14. I don't think either of these would be difficult to impliment, though obviously I could be wrong.

1st: Please add Npc ranks to the Real Numbers AT dropdown box

Reason for wanting: When looking up Npc powers with chat links, it's impossible to tell exactly what a power does for an npc since it just goes by whatever AT modifiers it's set to. Also, when creating a Custom Critter you wouldn't have to go between screens to switch it's rank back and forth to see what effect it would have on a particular power.

I realise there are TONS of actual npc ranks and might clog the list, but the standard 5 of Minion, Lieutenant, Boss, Elite Boss, and Archvillain would be great

2nd(and most desired): PLEASE(x100) add an option to the team search window to sort by people NOT already on a team

Reason for wanting: I can't tell you how many times I've been leading a team, looking for members, and 3/4 or more of the list is clogged with people already on a team. Now, the flag, level range and AT boxes help a bit, but this option would solve it completely!

As stated, I don't know how easy or hard either of these would be to impliment, but they don't SOUND difficult to me and I can't think of any downsides so I'm hoping they could happen Soon™.

    Thoughts?

I'd also like to be able to invite SG members while offline for my personal SGs, but I realize that blind SG invites are bad enough without them being able to send them to people not logged on.

Higher Recovery does not increase the speed of the ticks; only in how much they give back per tick. Just as with Regeneration and HP, nothing boosts how fast Recovery ticks arrive.
You have this backwards Rush , recovery DOES increase the speed of the ticks, NOT the ammount they give back. Therefore, yes, more recovery would increase the likelyhood of you regaining a tick of endurance after a nuke.

Furthermore, you gain 5% endurance per tick every x seconds, not a tick every 5 seconds for x endurance.
It's just a matter of how often those ticks of 5% fire, depending on your recovery(It's simple to test too, simply grab an empath and cast recovery aura near or at low endurance, you'll immidiately see the ticks occur more often)

You are correct however that more endurance doesn't help negate a crash. -100% endurance is 0, whther you have 100 endurance or 2,147,483,647.

    2 useful Wiki links :

    Recovery

    Endurance(specifically the "The Numbers" section)

  16. Still there for me.

Normally I'd ask to make sure you didn't have anything typed in the search bar but you said they replied it was a known issue, so maybe it just doesn't affect everyone.

Copy/Paste of a reply I left in an older thread about this

Oil Slick can be lit by either fire or energy damage

Throwing Knives - Lethal - Does not light
Tranq Dart - Lethal/Toxic - Does not light
Mutagen - Toxic - Does not light
Apprentice Charm - Energy - Does light
Taser Dart - Energy - Does light

My Level 40 TA/A uses Taser Dart all the time to light it (It's alot faster than Blazing Arrow)

Note: There is an elusive bug that causes Oil Slick to fail to ignite even with fire/energy damage.
  18. After further testing it seems all the banners have inherent regen, and others found the scorn to be the hardest to defeat...meh...I dunno which is which, I'll wait for it to go live and use the power analyzer to check things out.

Love the new event though :-D
  19. Ok, still need further testing but heres so far,
oh the times i wish i had the power analyzer on test

The Banner of Fiends:I think this one is the +resistance, though I'm not positive

The Banner of Terror: Didn't get to test this one, but i can only assume it's the +damage

The Banner of Scorn: I THINK this is defence as i had less than 95% chance to hit at first, but not positive as some of the enemies had -to-hit debuffs

The Banner of Mayhem:This one is definitely the restoration one, it went up in health every so often

    Need more testing :-S
  20. So through unspoken means, I've found out that each banner's magic circle has a buff associated with it, according to how many of the event enemies are near it.

    There are 4

    1.The Might one: +damage
The Mystic Banner gains power by having more creatures near it. It is currently drawing a small amount of additional energy from nearby creatures granting it a small damage bonus.
    (In game link:[Glyph of Might])

    2.The Restoration one: Healing
The Mystic Banner gains power by having more creatures near it. It is currently drawing a small amount of additional energy from nearby creatures granting it a minor healing ability it can use every 15 seconds.(In game link:[Glyph of Restoration])

    3.The Defense one: +defense
The Mystic Banner gains power by having more creatures near it. It is currently drawing a small amount of additional energy from nearby creatures granting it a small defense bonus.
    (In game link:[Glyph of Defense])

    4. The Resistance one: +resistance
The Mystic Banner gains power by having more creatures near it. It is currently drawing a small amount of additional energy from nearby creatures granting it a small resistance bonus.
    (In game link:[Glyph of Resistance])

Note: I haven't yet figured out which one goes with which banner, will test further and post later.

Edit: just to note the glyphs are the magic circles on the ground, not the banners themselves
  21. Indeed, I got kicked and now i can't even get to atlas from any character

    Power Bar #s

It sounds like the game isnt properly un-holding the alt key when you alt-tab out of the program(You're holding alt while the game goes 'out of focus' so as far as the game is concerened you never stopped holding it)

The shortcuts for the second row are ALT+#.

If you have this problem again after going back into the game, try hitting ALT+1 first(the normal shortcut for using the second power tray 1st slot), then using the numbers as normal.

Just a guess based on your description, but I've had similar things happen with other games, so it's worth a try.
  24. The total recharge required to have exact perma-hasten is 275%,which puts the recharge at an exact 120 seconds.(450/3.75=120)
minus the 70% from hasten itself, that leaves 205%

If you go the average route of 3 Level 50 Recharge SOs in hasten(~95% recharge) that leaves 110% from other sources(either buffs or set bonuses). Siphon Speed for example gives 20% for 60 seconds per hit

    An example for kins:

6 level 50 recharge IOs(~118% recharge) and triple stacked Siphon Speed(60% recharge) adds up to 248% recharge, leaving you to need 27% global(easy enough)
