    Perma Human PB

You are wasting slots on i strike that should be going into gleaming bolt (which you should have taken instead of glinting eye.) r strike is your best ST attack and it's very underslotted. from the other thread:

    Quote:
You want to put hecatomb in radiant strike and use incandescent strike as a kinetic combat mule, and swap eye with bolt... The best dps chain for Peacebringers is R Strike>Blast>Bolt, I Strike's animation is too long to be effective in an ST chain and you're losing proc chances.
I know you don't want to use Hecatomb but you can still get better values for r strike w/ a nucleo and a proc tacked on the end.

    Photon seekers are underslotted too.

Inner Light is perma w/ just the 2 recticles.

Your slotting on e boost and reform is kinda backwards.. You can keep e boost perma when 1 slotted but you are going to want to get better enhancement values for reform as it is your primary self heal for issues like the LF crash.

Once again another person skipping proton scatter for pulsar which I think is a mistake. Scatter is a good aoe attack and can lead to a steady chain of AOE output whereas pulsar is a weak chance for stun that you have no means of stacking.

You also don't have detonation... Both of these aoe's I'm mentioning are pretty much the equivalent of nova blasts... They recharge so quickly that they probably contribute more aoe damage than seekers.

I recommend trying to fit -res procs into your attacks too.
  2. I'll just show you the changes I would make from here instead of typing them all out. You seem like you have a decent amount of cash, might wanna replace Doctored Wounds with Panacea. It's optional though.

  3. Thanks guys, I appreciate that. I'm thinking of maybe forming every week in Pocket D from now on to avoid the "RWZ riffraff," as I know a few people who did know what they were doing lost their spots after the mapservers, and that's something I want to avoid in the future.
  4. I apologize once again for the disaster that was. I have really been trying to lead these trials with a fairly "hands off" approach and that did not seem to work out tonight.

First, we had epic league mapservers as we qued twice... That didn't help things one bit. People with reserved spots were lost, which is something I'll take responsibility for. I just can't keep track of everyone who was signed up, and I got tells from people asking for re-invites who were probably not even familiar with the Keyes badges.

The lack of knowledge was reflected on the "first attempt," when people were neglecting league chat. We managed to kill Anti-Matter somehow, when quite a few people signaled in chat that it was time to stop damaging him.

The "second attempt" was when I really became disengaged. We managed to get Anti-Matter down to 12% health at a very comfortable and cautious pace.... When someone decided to take control of the terminal before he was below 10%.

After that was Bunker Buster. The first bunker worked out well enough, but on the second one someone decided to blow doors up before I gave the "ok." This is the part where I started gauging my eyes out.

Avoids the green stuff.. Well, by this point I was hardly even paying attention. I'll admit that I myself even died a couple of times, and got hit by green stuff galore. To put it simply, it was over before it started when it came to the end of the trial.

Going forward I am left with a simple realization: Most people do not read the boards. Most people do not care if we're going for badges, because they are "LF TRIALZ LOLZ" and will not respect the goals of the rest of the league. With the other trials, this is easy enough to manage, because the badges are less complex.

I got tells, and talked to a few people who feel that I wasn't strict enough, and that I need to make an event like this "sign up only." I don't like being strict, I don't like being "super exclusive" and I don't like telling people that they can't play their mains/badgers, but it does seem like this is the only way to run a successful MoKeyes on this server.

Anyways... Next week is back to BAF. That should be easy enough, and next time we do Keyes I guess I will have to be more of a totalitarian about it. Sorry to everyone who came out, knew what they were doing, and missed out on the badges. I take full responsibility.
  5. I'm too lazy to type up a strategy-thing for Keyes today, but I'm just going to go over some quick things.

    First of all...

    Please read the general strategy
Please familiarize yourself with the badges

If anyone is able to bring an Electric Armor Tank/Brute/Scrapper it will be greatly appreciated.

Team 1 (my team) will be collecting temp powers. I feel like I'm going to have my hands full directing in league chat, so I will designate someone else on the team to be in charge (no pun intended) of applying them to the terminals. Super Speed with a stealth proc or other means of invisibility is best for this team.

Team 2 will be just a couple of aggro soakers with taunt (edit: I would also like to place a support character with strong ST/AOE heals/buffs on this team to keep these folks alive.) It will be your job to pull Anti Matter to each terminal that needs to be charged. This of course will happen after we get the Anti-Anti-Matter Badge.

Team 3 will be AOE's and debuffs. This team will be in charge of clearing the adds around the terminals.

I'm not sure if we're going to need a 4th team, I feel that would just lead to a bunch of confusion and people who are prone to die.. I'm going to try and keep everyone set up in a three team fashion.

Please bring Rebirth if you have it. I'm going to try to get my hands on some ultimate inspirations to pass out, which can be very helpful for the last fight.

This is the one trial that I have yet to get any of the badges on, so if anyone has any ideas to contribute please feel free to throw them out in league chat.
  6. I personally hated the old LF animation but I think it would be a good idea for it to work like Cloak of Darkness- Set it to minimal if you don't like the costume intrusion.

Have you been staying in touch with Arbiter Hawk about this stuff? If so, be sure to tell him that we require toggle suppression too.
  8. Another thing is you should try to fit Achilles -res procs in all your attacks, they'll have a chance to go off really often, it'll make hard mobs go down faster with your AOE's and AV's go down faster in your ST chain. The problem you'll run into is poor enhancement values for Bolt because decimation kinda sucks... A good slotting is 3 gladiators javelin (the toxic damage proc and HP bonus are very nice,) 2 thunderstrikes and an Achilles proc. Alternatively, 3 glad javelin, an apoc: damage (w/the rest of the set in blast) and an Achilles proc if you don't wanna 6 slot it.
  9. That will also let you drop Boxing for Tough and 1 slot it with a Steadfast KB IO.

edit: Made the wrong power reference, had to fix.

Drop Pulsar for Proton Scatter- It does more damage than Detonation and it gives you a constant AOE chain, whereas Pulsar is just a chance for stun that you have no means of stacking.

I suggest switching Stealth for Combat Jumping, it gives you more defense and it doesn't suppress in combat.

Try to fit a Nucleo onto the end of Bolt for some better enhancement values.

You shouldn't need to crunch your defense with those Enzymes having 5 Kinetic Combat sets- You can 3 slot your def toggles with LOTG 7.5, Def, and Def/End for the set bonuses without losing the softcap.

I don't think you need that recharge IO on reform essence.. It's like a 1s difference in recharge, with the survivability you've built for I doubt you'll need a self heal more often than every 18 seconds.

edit: You can also keep E Boost perma by just 1 slotting it with a Numina, Miracle, or regen Tissue proc.

Side note: Please don't do this. It was painful enough before I found out that inspirations stacked, I can't even fathom how harsh it would be to get past level 15 like this. I know every time I forget to update my enhancements, I get frickin owned. But usually you don't hit a 6 level spree without remembering to check.

I've had many characters go without enhancements until level 20-25. The low level enhancements hardly even do anything.
  11. Forming in RWZ tonight! Around 8pm est. I'll post in Protector Vigilance when I start sending out invites.

That's not true. I remember an old post from AlienOne saying his recharge was around 150% (this was pre-incarnates) which means that his hasten was not permanent, but his Eclipse still was. Light Form has the same duration and base recharge as Eclipse- I haven't looked at the build you are referring to so I can't speak for it, but I did want to comment that perma hasten is not required for perma LF.

Both of my Khelds take dwarf for the set bonus mules when making an effective human only build. For Peacebringers, you get 2 free Kinetic Combat mules, a freee BOTZ KB mule, a free Winter's Gift mule, and Dwarf itself is a free mule for steadfast KB or +3% defense. For Warshades, you get all that plus an extra Kinetic Combat mule. All for one power choice.

If you notice the first build I posted, which did softcap s/l defense, cap all resists w/ perma LF, and had no gimped or missing essential powers, I had to take 2 resist shields to mule Reactive Armor sets. Sure, it meets this strange concept of "purity," but it also took 2 power choices to get significantly less of a statistical advantage than the one power choice that is Dwarf. Skipping Dwarf is really just wasteful and inefficient build planning.

Saying that the "no form powers rule" is arbitrary for a Human Only build is to disregard the definition of Human Only. When I ask for a Human Only build, I'm not asking for a Dual-Form build that you play only in Human form.

I think that's a silly restriction to make. If you're going to be a purist about your Peacebringer, be a rational one. I don't see the difference between dropping a kinetic combat set you'll never use in boxing and dropping a kinetic combat set you'll never use in Dwarf Strike.

I don't use Sunless Mire as part of the calc when I figure out attack chains for Human Form so I'm not sure if I should be using Dwarf/Sunless Mire which figuring out Tri Form chains... Assuming the answer is "no," I'm just going to post the base damage for both chains.

    Dwarf Chain

    Strike>Smite

    Dmg:46.71+73.41= 120.12

    Cast: 1.452+1.716= 3.168

    120.12/3.168= 37.916

    Human chain

    G well>Eye>S Blast>Eye

    Dmg: 167.3+44.49+72.96+44.49= 329.24

    Cast: 2.244+1.848+1.848+1.848=7.788

    329.24/7.788= 42.275

    Orbiting Death adds 8.04 every 2s so 8.4/2= 4.2

    42.275+4.2= 46.475

So in terms of base damage, human form is ahead by 8.559 dps.

I know this isn't relevant to the original question but I just had a talk with AIB in game and he seemed to be getting different results for this.

In order to do the calculation with Mires (excluding the damage buff) it would be subjective... You would need to factor in Human Mire as fast as it recharges on either build (30s on mine) the Tri Form build would need to calculate in form shift times for Sunless Mire (human shift>mire>dwarf shift) & Dwarf Mire however often it's up.
  18. The EAT lore is a total mess. VEAT's are trying to get on to a 'destined one' list that doesn't exist because the 'destined one' storyline was removed.

HEAT's have to go and defeat 10 Council while remaining blissfully unaware that the Battalion (You know, those people who used them as ship fuel) just blew up Shadowstar's hangout spot. Even she doesn't seem to notice that some of her mortal enemies just took a crap on her front porch, so absorbed has she been trying to rescue that Shadowcatcher guy for like 6 years.

I know the whole point is for EAT's to be "story driven," but if the stories aren't going to be updated enough that they're relevant to the current state of the game I think the argument is moot. I totally support letting EAT's do the shiny new tutorial so they can blow up the big brain-alien creature too.
  19. Yeah I have Hecatomb in G Well and AA in Emanation, my build was crazy expensive but I think it was worth it. You might get more mileage out of Hecatomb in Dwarf Strike since it seems like you'll be using Dwarf for AV's/hard targets.

That build looks a lot better to me, the last change I would make is slotting Dwarf Drain with 4 Kinetic Combats and 2 Touch of the Nictus. I would get the extra slot by pulling the Perf Shifter proc from Dwarf but I know people seem to like that so you could also pull one of the Resist IO's.
  20. You need to slot up either your Dwarf form or your human form for single target damage. As it stands you will be dead weight in AV fights... Since you don't have any defense built up I suggest devoting slots to your Dwarf attacks.

You want to 4 slot Eclipse with 2 Nucleos and 2 recharge IO's, it'll bring your human/Nova resists from 0-85% with 5 targets.

Your hasten is perma with 2 slots.

There's no sense in slotting Nova Bolt, and I don't see much use in slotting Blast either (especially not for knockback.) Nova is your AOE form... You should be using it against a lot of enemies after stacking your mires, by the time you fire off Emanation and Detonation it'll be time to switch to Dwarf for another Mire.

You should really slot Gravity Well for damage, it's your best single target attack. If I were you, I would slot it with Kinetic Combat (same for your Dwarf attacks) a nucleo and a proc. Even having s/l defense in the 20's will drastically improve your survivability, and you only need around 150% global recharge for perma Eclipse (though 160-170% is more comfortable.)

I think you should slot Unchain Essence for damage, not stun.

I'm guessing uber damage, but is there an element of control/buff if need be? Or do you even need that?
I'd totally like to try that!

Not really. Both of my Khelds are human form only. It's all of our responsibility to 'kill everything as quickly as possible' and to have as much fun doing so as we possibly can. It usually goes well.

Edit: You can read about our past exploits in this thread.
  22. On my server, we run all Kheldian TF's every Friday night. We've done successful ITF's, LGTF's, Apex, Tin Mage, Sutters, and a bunch of ancient low level TF's that take way too long for little to no reward. We're doing an all Kheld LAMBDA soon, so that should be fun.
