I know Zwil or someone said that they planned on doing so during one of the little Stickam parties, but I didn't see it in the patch notes.

Quote:I have enough recovery in my build to sustain my ST chain. I have an ST heal in my chain also, and a Panacea proc in health. I also have decent defense to everything. I don't feel like I need to always cap my damage and res to do good ST damage. With one mire target, I have a ~25% damage buff, plus the inherent buffing my damage further most of the time on teams. If I feel the need to beef up my damage output (namely if I don't have any fluffies left for an AV fight) I click my handy inspcombine GIVE ME REDZ macro.Ok, I'll play. Where's your warshade getting endurance, damage buffs, heals and capped dam-res from when you have no bodies to feed from?

Quote:In one on one situations, PBs win hands down. After, of course, as you point out, you get enough recharge in the build for it.
I hate to burst your bubble, but my experience is that Human Form Warshades still win in one on one situations... Or at least mine does. Of course, not all Warshades are created equal so there is that.
Quote:Incidentally, has anyone had the time to test whether those assinine bonuses made it into the Kheldian-specific IO set as they were originally presented?
The only useful thing about the set is the recharge bonus, and the 10% version would conflict with my 5 purple sets. I guess if I ever feel the need for an extra 8.whatever% global recharge, that set will be the way to go.
They're making the set "very rare" and then giving Kheldians resistance bonus. News flash: Anyone who can afford to purple out their Kheldians already caps all their resists anyways. I have a serious issue with whichever genius designed this IO set.
Quote:To us min/maxers, sure, shapeshifting might not be worth it. But it still functions as it is intended to--just, you know, not as good as it should. It is certainly over the top and/or raging when people declare that they will (only now) stop playing because they felt the buff wasn't good enough. -
The problem is that the Devs are selling shape shifting AT's for irl money that play best when you don't shape shift with them. Human Only is the ultimate standard for both Kheldians because of how seriously flawed and clunky the forms are, and that's a pretty big problem since the forms are a big part of the design. I don't think it's over the top or raging when people request a few changes to make them worth using... Especially when one of those changes was one we were promised already.

Quote:Why is a code rant necessary? The shift TO human form is already instant. They should just give us the same animation when we leave human./em Monty Python "yay."
Dante, the animation changes are what I was referring to... I find it rather disappointing that between the I21 beta and I22's, there was somehow not time to do it. Doesn't seem like it would require an entirely new animation, but I suppose the standard code rant applies.
Quote:
Don't get me wrong, I like that stuff happened in I21, I just find it disappointing that they STILL couldn't do the animation change a whole issue later, and that nothing else was changed. It's much like the I11 tweaks with Fiery Aura for me. They were nice, but not enough, and I hate it when they just sit and sit in need of help. -
The good thing about the performance shifter proc in stamina is that even if your recovery is being debuffed it still has a chance to fire. Other than that, I think it gets you around the same end as one common IO would.

If it makes you feel any better, "Sunless Mire will no longer accept tohit debuff enhancements."

What side do you pick more than others?
I'm a villain through and through, but I'll often make my characters start off heroic because of the generally increased traffic blueside.
What play style do you prefer?
I play everything in melee, even my blaster. To quote someone from the forums (who I can't remember) "I play everything as if it has a fury bar."
What power set(s) do you favor?
My main is a Warshade. Most of my favorite characters are generally crazed damage dealers but I have a couple of buff/debuffs that I'll get on occasionally. My favorite "defensive" set is Fiery Aura, but that's my only real preference.
What zones do you like the most?
Cap Au Diable is my favorite zone in the game, if for nothing else than convenience. The market, the university, and the ferry are all right there.
Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''?
I have made two female characters. One of them is a retired Spines/FA Scrapper and the other is an alt Warshade. So, male.
Views on Role Playing?
None, really. I think it's neat when people come up with interesting back stories for their characters but I can't say I support the Virtue style "Stand around Pocket D and treat COH like a fictional version of Facebook chat" roleplaying. I like to play the game, that's why I pay my subscription fee. Of course others are welcome to do what they want too, I just don't get down with all that.
Servers?
I started on Protector... As of now, my main is on Freedom, and my favorite alt is on Virtue. The only other server I've given a shot is Exalted and I didn't like it. -

...Seriously? Oh man. I guess I have to buy that now. My main problem with the Paragon Market is that I can't find the infamy-to-dollars conversion rates, though. >.>
Edit: Jeez. That thing is way overpriced. I have 500 points to my name right now. Not gonna happen. -
Quote:Oh wow, that looks sexy, THB. Pretty much the perfect Warshade outfit. Sorry you hate the mask, but it looks really good close up.
I mean objectively speaking, I don't have any qualms with the aesthetic of the mask. It just creeps me out.
And thank you! I just wish I could use the sash on my main Warshade. -
I'm not calling your costume particularly ugly, but man that mask is disgusting looking.

Kill everything before it can attack you. Alternatively, Gravitic Emanation>Eclipse, and then kill everything before it can attack you.

Many times I've thought of how useful it would be to flag items of a certain origin or rarity as "do not accept." I could care less if my enhancement tray or salvage inventory fill up while I'm doing something, but when my recipes are full I start to twitch nervously and delete things I don't want as quickly as possible. It's definitely a bit of a hindrance at times.

Quote:That screenshot is priceless. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm personally very glad that this happened to someone. That is all.I have no idea what happened, but during a Posi 2 earlier this evening, I was informed that the leader was now level negative 1.5 billion and that I would be kicked from the team if I didn't agree to be exemplared to level 1. I had been suffering from some hideous lag, and I suspect a corrupt packet slipped in somewhere and confused the client.

Energy Blast. I spent my first 2 months in the game doing nothing but soloing an Energy/Kin corruptor. Never again.

So you want a Shadow Cyst Archetype?
I think if you were forced to look like a rock and were completely unable to move, it'd probably be balanced.
