unfort due to several rl things i had to do, after the first 2 matches crashed or went foobared i had to go, so dont know what the results were, but seems like last time we ran something on this scale apart from a couple of discons player wise, the whole thing ran fin, but that was with 24 players (3 teams of 8) after next hammie raid sugesting same agaion but keeping it to 3 teams of 8 and see how it goes
and def got to have a ffa at some stage random chaos is fun take pops at anyone and anything

as for the solo mentality of cov, cov seems more geared towards solo, cov doesn't have ANYTHING like the hollows at all (which forces and teaches peeps how to team) coh been around a lot longer and there's a HELL of a lot more experianced players coh side than cov side (point of fact how many really good coh players you know who WONT play cov because they dont like it?) add in LAGVILLE lvl 40-50 zone and then compare it to PI..... if you want to see some of the gripes peeps have at times about cov see my post, cov kinda boring tbt (bear in mind this was done pre issue 7) and also was either persoanal observations and opin- or comments and complaints i'd heard off players on the times i did have teams cov side. point in fact about the solo mentality i can and have solo'd relentless missions on brutes stalkers corrs, cov tend to make you team more specialy at the higher diff settings.........

EM/SR gets NASTY about lvl 30+
pve i can usualy wipe a mob on relent solo, EBs not to sure about not faced any yet lol and a lvl 32+ stalker on speed boost in pve is a nasty nasty thing in deed > on mine i can and have out killed brutes in mobs (lvl 37 atm, elude here i come )
at this point i'm NOT planning on taking any patron powers, got some unconvent ideas to try and hasten on /sr you WONT need it, quickness does the job just fine and point of fact my travel power of choice atm is fly (hello mr 1 shot flying defiance sniping squishy >) or MR /dev with the caltops laid out, "hey look up" "Huh?" >

not sure if game emails are cross server, but if you defiant side, send an email to corrupt power, he's got a damn good ice/kin. he usualy has fun with regens, including the nice little spiney regens

lol sigh i MUST BE NUTS!!!!!!!!! finished this SF again with CP and a lot of the members of the OOCTS (folks big thanks for that (2nd one in a week lol) think i'm gonna be talking with Corrupt Power and arrangign another sometime later this month some. i def want more experiance with this SF specialy before issue 8 and the downgrade of the AVs and my dm/fire brutes coming along quite nicely with lvl 53 SOs (might have some lvl 53 mutation ones spare on defiant soon
and anyone saying you need xyz ATs to do this is WRONG, ANY combo of mixed ATs can, point in fact the 2nd one that OOCTS members, me and cp just did was mostly brutes and 3 corrs.....

most active Sgs could think of off top of head cov side would be OOCTS, murders inc.possibley anbu, (there are others but been awake all night, tired so not quite all there atm lol)

i've never been abusive when i've been face planted by a stalker, frequently have actualy said nice AS etc
i got a stalker, and not naming names and pointing finger here, but started pvping in bloody bay, ran into a bubbles troller with a couple of scrapper friends going round, I managed to face plant the bubbles and bubble boy then got abusive, (my alts called squishy ganker) and one of their comments was i should have called my alt something slightly dif (last name starting with W not G) now normaly i'm the type of player that leaves afk or resting player in peace, but this guy got quite abusive, i probley should have pertitioned him for it, instead i face planted him again, started scrapping with the scrappers (at which point a friend joined me on a ice corr) i happened to look over, and cause bubbles was still being abusive to me and also to my friends, saw em pop an awake, case of placate BU AS face plant, go back to scrapping with the scrappers, saw him use another awake, with him still being abusive, as i was just firing off another attack, targeted him as the attack went off and put on follow as hide kicked in, followed him, went for BU&AS again, just in time for him to hit rest.... funny soon after that the abuse stopped... .
end of day DONT be abusive to peeps in pvp. and yes the word NOOB is being gen used these days to mean a veriaty of very impolite words, it's one thing for friends to banter it round amoungst themselfs it's quite another and very insulting at times to throw it at other players. personaly i've never used the word noob and wont do so for the fact it's freq- ment as an insult. peeps being abusive to one another specialy over broadcast can bring an entire pvp zone down, and take away the fun in there. i've seen 2 players in sc before now (not naming any names) giving each other a LOT of abuse over broadcast, which got to the point that after several times of asking then telling them to either take it to tells or zone, i actual pointed out they were acting like a certain infamous defiant player who got banned a while back, then when they still carried on i did turn round and threaten to pertition BOTH of em for their conduct, which did make them tone it down and stop with the abuse on broadcast. point being peeps being abusive to others in pvp zones, RUINS EVERYONE ELSES FUN. so please DO NOT DO IT.

capt-, i got enough time for the free respec from vet rewards, just case of in past on test, been case of copy alt over, login, log out, and log back in free respec... :/

FFM, i'm working on a respec build of my ar/dev on test atm, i'd be interested in dueling you sometime on your tri form it'd have to be the test server arena though, as he's on defiant and not union lol and tbt i suck at arena fights anywyaas so could use the experiance
but i'll give you a shout when i got my build on test sorted and ready, for some reason atm i'm not getting the free respecs on the test server... >

i was in both of them raids, shifted a alt over to the night stalkers for one of them, and from NS side of things the raid against furies base were NOT fun, it felt more like we got to win at all costs, and there wasn't fun there > having your bases like that was a good stratergy to win, but fun? nope not even close. the fun part was when you started to raid against the night stalkers base, now that was fun why because it came down to the players For ref fen was the alt i used on the raid against the furies base and dark radiant hunter was the other one used for the other raid against the furies base the only peeps that could move round were either phased or had TP. with regards to the spawn point camping, personaly i'd be happier seeing a timer like sirens call warburg etc, that lasts the length of the "average" load, so the timer runs out 2 secs AFTER the player has actualy loaded in and can do something, where's the fun in ganking someone who cant do anything cause they still loading and by the time they load in their already dead.....


and big CONGRATZ to the PD on that one (and i know the next raid the furies/possie do against someone eother than the swords or PD isn't going to be easy for whoever they're against and to the furies and possie, been fun everytime i've run across you in pvp zones i might freq- face plant but it lets me try new ideas looking forward to more fun

I like 10HP flying bountys on my stalker, fly towards, placate, BU et nice bounty ty :P

defiance sniping and telemining are THE 2 most commonest methods on ar/dev of hunting. telemining, beware of trying that with a rooted stone brute, they quite likely to survive and turn round and start hitting you...

and flying defiane sniping... erm.. might work, then again you might run into the flying stalker with phase that decides your tasty

also an immobed squishy is a very dead squishy, probley why mine has leaping pool. diff peeps diff playstyles.
but def get tactics and TD, against stalekrs running stealth and hide it helps like crazy (always carry acc insps and BF though.... acc insps also boosts your percept, so at least you got a chance of hitting caltrops fast enough to stop the stalker running hide&invis from ASing you.

our team was 7 at the last mission, 3 corrs, 1 stalker, 1 dom, and 2 fire brutes.
so this is doable with diff AT mixes
and ty and well done to the rest of the team

a 64 way ffa or 3 teams of 8 etc etc in arena

Grief Returned Dark Melee/Fire Aura/Ghost Widow Brute

belive 1 stone, and another brute, 1 dark MM and 4 CORRs and 1 of any other AT is the ideal team for doing this. least that's what i've been told by friends that done this a few times.

Quite frankly I have found zones to be so devoid of challenge I don't play there with my blaster anymore (my main PvP character), if only the villains would stop leaving the zone after I beat them couple times..
