The moment we finally get to Cole Hamidon pops up and EATS HIM without us even getting a chance to throw a punch.
Then we fight Hamidon. -
Icey is one of my favorite secondaries for Dominators. As said, it is nothing fancy and does not excel at anything, but does so many things right without being too flashy about it that it works.
It's basically the perfect Jack of all trades, master of none.
EDIT: it is also classy. -
binds binds binds!
My empath has the numpad 1-8 for each team member.
9 is heal other
subtract is Clear Mind
Multiply is Fortitude
Divide is Adrenaline Boost.
Speed everything!
EDIT: you can bind targeting through numpad directly at Options Keymapping.
/bind subtract "powexec_name Clear Mind"
/bind multiply "powexec_name Fortitude"
/bind divide "powexec_name Adrenaline Boost"
/bind numpad9 "powexec_name Heal Other"
The other powers will need some writing down. Brb -
Empathy is really good at healing. But if healing is all you do with the set, you are playing it wrong and you are not helping the team as well as you should.

There is one in Hollows as well. It looks like a portapoty.
-
Isn't there also a whole lot of character slots? Preems do not get 12 iirc. Now if you play a small number of characters that works out fine.
-
That was a lot better than the blurb made me expect. Not sure about it yet, but has potential.

First time I played the SSAs and saw how ridiculously easy it was to swim in A merits I knew it was way too good and asked about it. I understood from Positron's explanation that the extra A merits were due to 'first time reward.' After that, since they all share the same one week timer, rewards would be reigned in. I guess that was their theory, but didn't work out as they thought. Heck, if I could break it and I'm a lazy and lousy player, I'm sure other people abused it all the way to a few trillion inf.
So yes, there needs to be a way to control the rewards system. My real beef with this new way to controlling rewards that it seems to tie together systems that don't really feel they should be linked. Now the Signature arc is tied to the Morality system, and I can't find any logic to it outside of a measure to stop rewards. It's like not being able to enter Croata unless you've finished the Striga Isles arc.
It will suck even more for Preems (if anyone happens to be stupid enough to actually buy a SSA).
Seriously, can't we just kill the 'first time reward' and leave all 7 SSA tied to the same weekly timer? Or have it only give merits for 'first time' and normal merits every time after that forever. Or close Crucible/Fort Trident and level lock them till 20 or something with the excuse that you need to prove yourself?
EDIT: I should probably add that after getting 5 LOTG on week one I did SSAs #1 just a few times and only did the #2 twice, one red and one blue to see the story. No way I'm going to grind these. I get tired really fast of repetitive missions. -
First time I saw Manti and States mentioned in SSA2, my first thought was they were going to target Sister Psyche next. Both characters are related to her whether through marriage or long alliance/friendship.

Well, I needed a warshade, so...
Best part: Laser eyes without the eyes.
And my fishman (Ice/Fire blaster) is enjoying his new revamp:

Might as well ask here.
What happens if you buy some pieces of a set and then buy a bundle? -
Should be noted that the Brain in a Jar head comes with brain, brain and eyes, and no brain option. Along with different respirators and pipes on the base. Creepy awesome stuff.
Now if I could only think of a concept. . . -
For single target, I'm a fan of Energy. Power Push is deadly nowadays and has solid control and accuracy bonuses. And contrary to other secondaries, you don't have to wait till 35/38 to form a full ranged attack chain. By level 10 or so you have 3 blasts and you're set.
-
For me, another factor would be which set you see as your "main" set and how high your altitis is. I love Storm Summoning, and I would love to make a Storm corruptor, but I know most of my characters stall late 20, mid 30s. So I would not be getting much enjoyment out of a Storm Corr.

The problem with this request is that it will set a precedent that unlockable costume pieces can be purchased with points and vice-versa, and the we'll have people clamoring for a way to unlock Steampunk pieces (to mention one) through gameplay.
(Let us just ignore that precedent has already been set with purchasable capes and auras.)
Of course, this could easily be fixed by just mentioning in the store what the in-game unlock requirements are. -
I thought the name for blasting defenders was 'Offenders.'

If the devs want to be extra evil, they should update them a few weeks BEFORE they are on sale.
See how many people run those TFs to see them in action. -
Yes, please.

Looking forward to a Rularuu version of Titan weapons.

Ooh, /auctionhouse can make this very easy and fast. Didn't think of this. I'll try it when I'm bored.

'Ernesto' is the 'José' of Paragon City.

Not sure how this works. I used my FB account to get a code, got it, and applied it. Could not get another one, as expected. Logged into my alt FB account (don't judge me!) to try to get another code for my second account, but I got the same code, which didn't work. . .
Sad Panda. -
Slot Fault! 3 rech 3 acc, or equivalent and Spam it.
It's the best power in the set.
