    That simple word would have confuse any customer to believe that they could plain spend thousand dollar for long term subscriptions. Refusing re-imboursment and leading a lawsuit would push NC Soft to keep game FOREVER online. With a good lawyer and that clue about what they announced us for years on that web page is a I win lawsuit for the playerbase vs NC soft !

    And best tool to counter CEO and his dumb business-plan is to share on social web the NC SOFT products' boycott. Also share with friends all over the world not to give these Korean Cyber terrorists any more penny until the entire company goes bankruptcy: keep the fire of anger it's a war-like !

    For any new player to pvp my advice: use any F0-F9 key with a target bind is faster than vent:
    Type /Bind F1 say, Targetting $target
    Then press F1 and its as fast and even better
  4. Incan is perfect power for a X/RAD toon (also good on an X/empathy) : it gather team in order to cast AM to affect all +20% damages +30% recharge (increase team DPS) AND it buff the heal with a -80%heal resist to everyone then zone heals are strongers (increase survivability).
    Best power IG pve AND pvp.

    UP THREAD : Revamp EM !!! (OMG its sooooooooo damn slow set come on be serious, try it and see how boring it is now and unless a GM or AV it's not efficient : the T9 attack energy transfer is so bad in game practice that I wonder how can it be a T9 ??? !!!)

    Lol at previous comment => Pvp norms in arena are which people agree with. That s why you can set up matches like you prefer while negotiating with opponent. Only old school pvper are claiming some arena rules
    Why TS would be the norm? Some people build there toon to manage with TS some don't and thats a point to consider !

  8. How unbalance ? IF we play pvp content all the time we dont drop any purple atm ... unlike pve that allow you to drop OR to turn rewards incarnates into purple !
  9. I ask to be able to turn pvp points we receive in pvp zone into some purple recipes on a new contact in pvp zone (60 pvp points for 1 purple recipe we would choose)

Here after talking about that idea with many pvper and also some pver we were agree that the main drops of purple recipes is lately so low that we cant slot our toons like we want unless spending time in pve that not everyone wants. + I will never spent 2k PP per purple set X5 on paragon market to slot a toon : SERIOUSLY !!!
    So the drop chance between pver and pvper is unbalance...
    That point make us think that not being able to fully slot our last new toon, then we have no reason to invest in buying a new pool for PP on the Paragon Market. As far as I know the dev do everything to let people choose the content they prefer to play but also the drop rate is close to 0 for purple recipe for any pvper (but some luck for pvp recipe).
    Lately they allowed a pver contact to turn some pve rewards into pvp recipes.
    Now let us ask for the balance game between the content pve/pvp.
    We have since long time some pvp points that are worth nothing just a badge reaching 400. The main idea came to us to ask dev to create hero and villain new contact in pvp zone able to turn our pvp points into purple recipes. the right value has been said to be 400/6 so 66pvp points per purple recipe (60 pvp points seems fair) reaching 400 would allow to gather a full set.

    So please for once if a redname can take that proposition in count and implement it the soonest possible everyone would be happy.

    Another point is that would be also the best promote for the pvp zone Siren/warburg and RV. Some pver would get a try there in team and might have fun also.

    Please consider the idea seriously.

    I would also be thanksful to anyone posting some constructives comments and or idea to make it become live (keep in mind purple drops reward table is needed for pvper content players). SO:

    What do you all think about that ???

  11. I believe They should do it because all the nerf over years broke some of our older toons. As example, I think of all energy melee toons deleted after E13.

    I believe if a player is pver it doesnt really make a difference to have common set while playing. Pvper have to have some purple and expensive set so main customers for these are pvper in my opinion BUT i can tell you after playing many years my toons that now are fully IO +5 i will not unequip them again (because i did already for some new alt) to equip another, we pay for the boosters (and we loose them if we respec) and when they change a pool power we should be able to change or not that pool selection.

    I decided to spend no more money in PP until they ll finally give a POOL respec for every toons that have major changes over years in their powers. That should be in game since E13 that would may be avoid less people to leave in that time.

    Moreover they gave us some purple ATO modifier drops that can drop instead of purple IO so i am sorry but as far as a toon can have only 6SATO we SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRADE EXTRA ATO MODIFIER INTO ANY PURPLE IO TO SOME CONTACT !!!

    They might want to do business but THEY HAVE TO DO IT FAIR !

    Thanks to read and be aware that some good spenders/customers are starting to be really fed up !
  12. Simple answer to: How to Balance Super Strenght ?
    The problem of the power set superiority damages is ONLY because of Rage stacks SO just FIX rage how it works. It means only make it work like hasten, don't change its base stats just simply make it not allow to stack rages buffs but make new buff replace last one AND move away the time penalty of 20seconds with no damages and -def: that will give any level SS the ability to permanently have a rage buff of 80% with no crash time and balancing then all pool and in the same time make it more playable and more fun for all.

    In conclusion: RAGE NOT STACKABLE AND NO CRASH. Simple as that, no need to spend years debating this is the best and easiest fix to balance the pool (no stack = nerf but no crash = up =>Overall result is a balance of that power that allow to balance all SS set !)

  14. In order to balance SS with every other melee sets I believe that Rage should work as hasten:
    1- No more stack casting again replace last cast so perma 80% damage buff
    2- No more crash to compensate the no more stacking buff

    Then set is more balance and need no more set up.

    Hope that change for next episod. Its not because we love that broken lign that it means it shouldn't be fix !

    They should also implement in auxiliary superjump pool a component about resistance to -jump powers that are actually lasting like 15sec for some of them and some peeps spamming in pvp are soooo boring it should like any mezz last max 4sec in my mind.
  16. We are expecting the 5th power from the auxiliary heal pool as a non-interruptible self heal "Heal in Battle", base: 300hp heal // 1min recharge time //0.5sec time animation

    That power would allow still more balance between all and give a way for some missing heal pools ranged or melee to get an efficient self heal. Moreover some more survivability in pvp zone for all with an overall balance power open to anyone.

    Please comment or suggest about it. Expecting it in next episod.
  17. Is there any in game extra secret quest/room/place that keeps unknown/uncompleted/undiscover ? If so can you give us some tips. If there is none are you planing to implement some ?

    I just suggest an In Game tool that would have its best use for everyone: the In Game Meridian Time Clock that would allow us to post any event/ any request / any petition with the In Game Time instead of having always the problem to know what time is announced for this or that in GMT Time, EST Time conversion. Set up that In Game "Meridian" Time on whatever anyway that would solve many of us the problem about dating in game for event and else.
    What do you think of it? Call it Paragon Time... for example

    Ok just giving you all localisation of a very hidden place that I absolutely found by accident:
    In the mission given by Doctor Dream in Dark Astoria: Entitled Defeat Tub-Ci.
    In the moment I arrived at the last room where the AV is standing I casted incandescence on the exact place where he stands and then... I was falling down to a very long tunnel that bring me to a large cave which has been specificaly designed (it's like bat-cave but it's Tub-Ci-Cav ^^), there are some stair to go back upstair even if it's no way to go back unless using incandescence on the very close top of the cave, there is green chemical water there and some left tonnels with dead heads drawn. I am pretty sure that there is something else to discover in that place that is VERY large and high but I couldn't find unfortunately...
    If any have some such hidden places to share please post.
  20. Hello everyone.

    First I shall present myself. I am basicly a European player who started the game when City of Villain has been created and I joined up for pvp. I have been playing DaoC for long time mainly for pvp and also Anarchy Online (that has been grown and last long because they hear player's advices - And I believe NC-soft do also)
    So I am a pvp'er, I ran hundreds RSF to gather HOs to increase my brute energy/invulnerability and some other toons. In that time began PL that was taking like a week at its beginning in warburg, btw cap level was 40 ^^.

    I left the game afte E-13 because of the main fix about pvp (and energy transfer) but I left because I was not very happy of the NEEDED changes but it required to be done in my opinion. Who can say that the mezz duration pre-E13 in pvp zone about dominators were not broken ???? You could perma hold people and TK them for a walk all through the map without they can do anything (I had fun doing it but remember fun is not self exclusive)... So it needed a fix.

    Stalker could one shot SA any toon under stealth, who can say it need no fix ???

    Empath could full health every their team member without being detected because cap perception<cap stealth of the illu empath. So who can say it needed no fix ?

    Regen T9 was minimal hp high def no resist X%(>100 of course) heal resist and anyone poping force of nature could one hit them under their T9. So who could ay it needed no up ???

    Melee were only meat for range that has no movement penalty so it needed fix why a player can play the other not ??? they added -range in pvp for taunt that make the range AT have to come closer to melee.

    Energy transfer was best single target attack/anim time/recharge but it needed to be fix (what I hate because it should be much lower damage but still 1sec with no hp loss instead of what we have now=> why??? because with new environment attack speed is first step to proc max and EM is way the worse set to use any proc and also to kill anyone in pvp)

    So all these changes even if I didn't like them were needed pvper knows it: I had one of the very first perma-dom and it was ubber I even give my feedback on my own toons so..
    I can't complain about the changes because we seek for balancing game. Unfortunately I doubt it can be so easy.

    About some other things like heal decay for example. Now to meet back with old pvp system be an incarnate : Using incandescence allow to avoid heal decay and every good pvper knows it and use it to last longer in battle. the damage output possibly done now make that power very useful to increase your survivability.

    Btw everyone know how psy damage were broke for long time in pvp no resist at all. Good they gave a pvp resist bonus to ANY TOON in zone (same for all that grant resist ALL damages). Rememeber defender psy/rad killing everything in zone ! ^^

    About build up: I think it should increase only the kind of damages it's dedicated to (fire build up only to boost fire damages-energy build up for energy damages etc... and ONLY EPIK build up can be ANY dmaage type that would be a global balance about the double build up builds)

    In 2008 in EU thread I proposed to have the fitness as inherent. I came back this year and it is like this now: that helped I am sure to make everyone able to set up their toon better way.

    People complains always but it s better to keep some objectiv view on the game with facts and evidence about something better than complain with no reason nor explaination. Pvpers that left (including me) at E13 did because the easy pvp way was gone. Balance chance to anyone in zone is better and DEV LISTEN TO US. (btw last patch fixed stealth panther in pvp zone)

    If they would need a panel for the pvp I would enjoy be in it but they never enquired anyone to be so..

    In conclusion pvp is still broken but they work hard to keep fair environment for all every day. It s WAY WAY LESS broken than it was REALLY !

    In my opinion NOW Diminishing returns should be applied on: RESIST/DEFENSE DEBUFFS and ENDURANCE/REGEN DRAINS AND DEBUFFS because as we can't stack resist/defense because DR is applied to them we neither should be able to stack debuffs on a target without DR. Its logic.

    Well I am defending the DEV team and NC-SOFT because I am aware of every steps they did to make the game better and in my opinion it is now really BETTER.

    I also believe than it's easier for people to complain than to learn powers and how to play. First should be learn to play your toon instead of powerleveling it and then complain not to know how it works

    City of Heroes/Villain can grow very much more if pvp is in some very large map area with some pvp goals/rewards/badges etc... Like capture the place/flag.

    Anyway I am happy that I just answer I don't specially like to writte but I needed to tell that pvper are not only what has been described. I support Game and Dev Team for their great work just thanks to listen to us and make our game experience better and balance.

As supposed Tyrant storm are untyped damages and there is only one kind of "Untyped damages" in game, like Hamidon's attacks so after testing I could find out that [Essence of the Earth] can grant you a resist from damages dealt by that attack... It helped for the trial, less death and it became much easier to complete (with also some good debuff resist and regen on Tyrant).

    My point of view is that the whole EM set is very slow and may be even worse melee set with the two heaviest attacks with the longest animation time moreover loosing hp to deal an attack (energy tranfer) that any AT has already regen in the time of the next attack animation... Also if you need to launch any other power to avoid death you can't do it well just because this set is broke now I deleted my stalker and I play my brute only using any attack that don't takes ages to launch so for an EM it means you can forget about focalisation and energy transfer.

    So anyone who believe that DEV should revamp EM please say why and give some idea for it. Personnaly I would see a range power [Energy Burst] instead of energy transfer. A good damage ranged attacck with no hp loss instead of a melee useless long animated attack that noone use any longer almost...

    OR give us back the old energy transfer like it was pre-E13 and recognise that this nerf is outdated now with the new content.

    I am sure that the EM set users population falled by 90% and plenty toon get deleted since that time.

    Sometime some way are not right and it's never late to fix it.

  23. Salut ! J'ai arreté CoX après l'épisode 13 je suis revenu il y a trois mois. J'ai constaté que le pvp sur vigi c'était trèèèèèèès calme et je suis aller voir sur Freedom c'était blindé de monde. Du coup j'ai transféré tout mes persos la bas et en deux semaine tous étaient incarnés full IO... Voila pourquoi vigilance est si calme: j'ai rencontré pas mal de francophone la bas aussi qui avait migré pour les même raisons.
  24. Just saying: If you team play take [Grant Cover] best def team buff in game but not self... A living team is more helpful always ! On my opinion it's a must have from Shield defense line, unless you play all content solo, but if it s the case why are you using phalanx fight? My DM/SD is set up like this with all powers from shield defense line and any team enjoy this buff [Grant Cover], if you meet another SD you ll also enjoy that +13% buff if slotted well !
