  1. I did not like the idea that to be effective you almost had to have a flying power, even though they can be easily obtained. And the spawns that camped out by the hospital were annoying. But until that point, it was indeed fun.
  2. Didn't help that we were +2. Now we know better.
  3. OP - are you sure they were level 50? Perhaps it was the occasional mob that cons 51 that happened to be in the entrance? Just a thought.
  4. We've tried Fridays, and that didn't work out so well. And there are a lot of activities on servers, so I don't know if one is better than another (Tanker Tuesdays, scheduled Hami Raids, etc). I think it has been light of late because of Issue 20. And soon we'll have the anniversary. Surely it is not because people are. . . burned out?
  5. And as the WTF has changed back to Psyche, I'm open to anything. Perhaps another try at the ITF?

When I started this back in December through till the new slots I listing my progression as such:

    Alpha slotted
    Alpha slotted M
    Alpha slotted M, S, C, N(as I got them)
    Alpha Slotted(All 12)
    Alpha Slotted M+4, S+4, C+4, N+4 (As I got them)
    Alpha Slotted (All 36)

My system worked fine in the past but with Judgement, Lore, Destiny and Interface things need to change. With the Alpha, the big thing was just getting slotted. I have never been on a team yet that asked for a particular slot.

But with J, L, D and I, leaders are asking for specific slots. It will take me quite a while to get all these new slots plus we're getting new slots soon too. I'm just looking for suggestions on how to list myself better in the seach terms.
Wow! I'm amazed people would do this. I've been playing both on Freedom and Triumph and have not seen the like. And it seems like a lot of work for you to have to advertise yourself in such away - especially as the info will probably change as you advance your incarnate slots. Hope you have better luck!
  7. One part of the "new" Posi is the WTF. Wouldn't mind doing that.

Yeah - I found that out when I was lucky to be in an "ambush" team several times in a row and earned all kinds of iXP. Then when I was on an AV team with a different character, I struggled trying to unlock a slot. I've been on many runs where 1 of the 3 teams is dedicated to ambushes. And I've been on runs where only 2 or 3 people are on ambushes, and the rest on the AV's. I think a more ideal situation would be maybe the bottom 2 characters of each team, as an example, would be responsible for the ambushes. That way each team is represented, and I don't think a full team of 8 is needed for the spawns.
  9. Yes - I think an ITF would be good for tomorrow. I need a break from BAFfing and Lambdas. See you then!
  10. I was on Freedom last night, and joined a Lambda run. It wasn't turnstyle, and both times I was with the group we were kicked. The leader had said this was his third attempt at putting the TF together, as the first one, too, had caused a mass kick.

Curious if it was server-specific I had asked a friend on Pinnacle if he had seen the problem, and he reported it had been happening there, too. I switched over to Triumph, and while I didn't experience any issues (was a BAF) there was a lot of talk of issues with being kicked.
  11. I'ts all good, Hype! Nothing wrong with a night off from Frading, as long as it's not a habit . . .

And an ITF might be a fun break from the new Incarnate trials. I'll have to try to get my lvl 34 up to 35 and bring him instead.
  12. Another fun night. There were four Frads to start, and we added 2 defenders (one was a rad/rad) and 2 more trollers (one was a /rad). So lots of rad goodness. We completed a Manticore in just under an hour. Then some of us ran a quick tip before we logged.

Next week might be Issue 20 chaos so not sure if we'll be running, but I'll at least show up. Hope to see you there!
  13. . . . and now we have our answer in the announcements.

Agreed. When I'm running against heavy mezzing mobs, I'm constantly creating break frees from other inspies that drop, but my first line of defense is to hold them before they hold you.
  15. Is this in regards to Issue 20? Have they posted the advance warning about the freespecs yet? Even though it's not a guaranteed precursor . . .

    End regin

    Hi Zep

I'm not a min/max'er and probably not the best at critiquing a build - but I took a look and had a couple thoughts:

Your biggest drains seem to be Maneuvers and Tactics. You have no endurance reduction in those. I would at the least add 1 additional slot to each if possible and throw in some endurance reduction.

You have 3 slotted hasten. I think you would be fine with just two.

You have 2 pacing of the turtles in hot feet, including the special. I don't know how much -recharge benefits you, but if you replaced those with 2 pieces from tempered readiness, you'd get the small recovery bonus - and I'd make one of them the accuracy/end red.

In shark skin you have just a resist IO. I'd try to add a 2nd slot, and though it might be pricey, try to put in maybe two from the impervium armor set - you get a small recovery bonus with that, and can put in a resist/end red and the end/end red/recharge, for reduced endurance use from that power, and still maintain the same resistance. Or perhaps put in the resist/end red from both aegis and titanium coating.

I would remove the endurance slot from fly and use that elsewhere slot elsewhere, and try not to use fly during combat, or at least try to rely on hover.

Not sure how much your rely on ring of fire for the immob, but perhaps 2 pieces from thunderstrike for the small recovery bonus. You won't get the same level of accuracy or recharge you currently have, but I believe the power recharges pretty quickly any way.

    Hope some of this helps!

Actually I took that to be more inclusive. I AM the Well. You ARE the Well. We are ALL secretly . . . the Well.
  18. I've been enjoying the "Save Warrior clan's village" from Maria Jenkins. Nice outdoor map so the mobs are easy to spot and quickly accessible. You have to click glowies to complete the mish so you can clear all the mobs you want and reset. And no EB/AV in the mish.
  19. With 5 Frads and 2 Kin Defenders, we were obligated to include the token tank in last night's ITF. Winning quote of the night, after the encounter with our first mob: Tank - "@#$%. You guys don't need me."

It was a lot of fun. We did our typical "kill what gets in our way" so wasn't quite a kill all, and missed the one hour mark by just over a minute.

Thanks to those that joined us, and looking forward to next week!
  20. The last time I was on a Numina TF I took the Boomtown - defeat 20 Council - task. It was a pain because the 5th Column almost always wiped them out before I could get in range.
  21. My first character was an NRG/NRG blaster. Mutant, of course, being the comic book geek that I was. Unfortunately I didn't realize at the time that the account name ended up being the name of my character, so that was a big turn-off. And being new and not knowing the annoyance factor of knockback, I was kicked off a couple of teams and decided it was time to try something else. I did finally got that character to 50, and keep him for the history.

My favorite AT is probably controllers, closely followed by brutes and tanks, of which I have several each at level 50, and play often.
  22. I look forward to seeing where this one goes
  23. MLC - the supergroup on Freedom, has indeed become just an ordinary SG, with very modest activity. Many of the active characters that were level-locked are now leveling again.

MLC - the concept, seems to also have lost focus as the Incarnate system has more attention back to the upper level characters.
  24. Postie! Welcome back! Yep, we are still plugging away. The meet up time is 8 PM Central, same day same location. This week we ran some more tips, and had a new person join us. I think next week Hype wants to run a Sister Psyche.
