There is a way ... stupid ennemies are fine for small groups of ennemies ... but the AI should go up a notch when the group gets bigger ... and with that ... the reward ...
For example ... with bigger groups ... snipers should snipe ... healers should stand back ... controlers should try to take heroes out of combat ... 2 or 3 scrappers should concentrate on one hero ... you know .. the stategies we all use when attacking them ... now that would make for a good reason to make bigger teams ... and you would have to think your way thru. -

I would love it and totally agree with the use made of the crtl key ... it can easily be rebound through a macro anyway.

Hey this is probably only one small drop in a lake ... but I want to drop it.
Just wanted to thank you ... most changes in I3 are really cool ... I haven't given my tankers a try but they are lowish level so I'll adapt no matter what was done ... but I really want to try out the new tauting ... I was never a big fan of taking provoke and taunt ... so my toons have one or the other ... now is the time to see how that turned out.
As for stuff like fear ... I have Cloak of Fear on my scrapper and ... I will need to learn how to use the new form ... I liked my old form and wouldn't mind seeing something like what what was done to knockback (add a enhancement to make them run) implemented. Having more choices is always better ... but that requieres more work on your part.
Anyway ... this is an "I love you guys" thread ... which is the case so ... I LOVE YOU GUYS!
You do great work. Fun, artistic, alot of fresh work since you have no items to tentalise players with, and you even made a game that has allowed me to show my girlfriend why I like playing MMO games. She likes this one enough to play once or twice a week ... thank you very much.

While it's true that the initial translation could be done for a 'global' server (you'd probably still need to use Europeans, though - the French spoken in Canada is not the same as that spoken in Europe), when it comes to supporting the game, you start needing a fair number of fluent and preferably native speakers for customer and billing support, QA and so on. For the community side, you really need people who have at least lived in the relevant country for long enough to understand the gaming and popular culture - ideally someone who grew up there.
Finding good people like this outside of Europe isn't easy. Finding good people like this outside of Europe who are willing to work night shifts on a permanent basis (which they'd have to in order to be available at peak European times) is all but impossible.

So if I get this straight ... if I were a french speaking canadian (which I am) and I wanted to play on a french server I would have to import an Euro version, pay my subscription in Euros and play on Euro servers ... because ... the french is different ...
I'm assuming setting up a server in America ... is quite a different ball game ... and then .. maybe not ... as for the french ... the european french can be easily understood by canadians (not the other way around for some reason) it may bring about a few giggles ... but it would be better than english for those that have trouble with english.
So why not setup the european version on a north american server (and I'm assuming spanish would probably be appreciated by alot of people around here)? Finding good people to work for you then at the hours you need them (even if they shared the same boards and all) would be pretty easy if you had a small office locally ...
Probably too much work ... but you have most of it done already ... all you need is a lil hardware and a small dark office space to sit one personThink about it ...

Whether you are for the increased levels, or against it, changing it so that soloing isn't viable should not be done. Right now you can still solo missions if you want, but for a lot of classes you are going to have to blow your influence on inspirations and do a lot of running away. Something my tanker finds slightly offensive, but really has no other choice.

See, all I'm saying is that it is not because it is too hard that the feel and diversity of a group like the Outcasts should be sacrificed. You wan't to tone them down ... fine but don't bring them back to the 1 shocker, 3 thugs (with nothing special) look. These fire/ice/earth/lightning minions are really nice. -

It's too bad. I don't know about the Trolls (haven't had to mingle with them lately) but the Outcasts are really cool. I much prefer the feel they have now with all of the different flavors of nature and they are a little more challenging but not necessarily tough. Anyway my 2 insp -

Are you telling me that you don't like what they did to a group like the Outcasts? Well I for one love it ... they were telling us that that group was using the forces of nature to fight and all you had was one lil shocker and a stone boss once in a while ... now ... the changes where minions fight with Ice, fire lightning, stone ... that is nature! I really like it ... gives a DA scrapper a reason for having stupidly taken murky cloud way too early! -

Well my GF is as much a newbie as can be and we created a DM/Invul scrapper for her yesterday and she is out there kicking the butts of groups like 4 yellow 1 oranges with minimal use of insp ... (1 maybe 2 ... not 8) ... so I have no idea what to say ... except ... she's having a blast! -

Sorry my friend ... but you have no idea what you are asking. It is easier to fix what is not working than roll back at this point.
Server stability is annoying ... but should be fixed soon ... I'm sure they are going crazy over this.
As for the toughness now ... well it is still very playable ... you might just have to think a little (ouch that could hurt) but there is always the possibility of having fun. If you see this as work ... it s because you choose to.
If your mission is too hard ... leave! ... Do others ... get another level and come back ... anyway .. I'm still having fun and I have no chars over 22 ... -

This sounds really cool =) I like the idea of having a different feel ... I wouldn't even mind if the tank would get to a point (lets say after 3 mins of fighting or a said number of hits within a period of time) where the tanker was dishing out the same kind of damage as a scrapper ... those big dudes (and dudettes) do get really scary when they get pounded on!
I do have to say that a "provoke like" effect on each attack was not something I was expecting ... some tanks like to more micro manage the agro and that might cause all tanks to end up in a very similar mold. A system similiar to the new one used for knockdown/knockback situation, where an enhancement in the power takes it from knockdown to knockback, could also be used for the taunt/provoke effect on the attacks. 1 enhance duration and you go from single taunt to AoE effect for example. Naturally a new enhancement would be even better ... but I'm just using what is already in the game to make my suggestion.

Often in programing, you have to use double double quotes to get a quote to show up in a string. Something like
