    Untrue.

There ARE times when Lusca is NOT in the zone. Therefore, it would be disingenuous to include her in a loading zone picture. A new player might get confused, for example where that Giant Pumpkin is in Croatoa and spend hours looking for him. Worse would be if they used a GM like Deathsurge that needs to have something happen in order for it to spawn.
  2. Bwah? I am not seeing how Exing and SB tie into anything? As far as I know, Stamina and such will be available at Level 1 or 2 (Castle didn't recall which).
  3. Weren't SoAs already doing that? My Huntsman ran double leadership a good while ago, for example.
  4. Yeah, I would try to have something ready for the next session costume-wise. I anticipate that either just before running Nox's and my arc or just after will be the official switch. I have things ready for the base's color change over also.

And thanks with regard to the graphic. That's just me messing around in Photoshop.

I'm having a lot of fun too... this is only the second time I have played a Tanker to over 30, and I am so glad we all chose ATs and stories that really WORK with each other.

Direbane does NOT have access to any of the costumes from the booster packs except for Science. (*Coughlosercough*) So his cyborg shoulders would need to be altered to another type. I suggest loserpads.

REALLY looking forward to both of the story arcs!

    Donde esta mi lapiz!
Cape is totally cool. In fact, for your character that makes a ton more sense than a trench.

Also, anyone who wants can skip the Shoulder Pads entirely... or if you want to keep something to give the upper body a bit more armor one could use the Sport Shoulders (I know he does have GR).

Part of the reason I posted Bulwark's in-uniform look was to demonstrate a bit of variability. Hopefully everyone will customize their uniform at least a little.
  6. Glad you like the looks.

With regard to your arc... you mentioned earlier that it was geared for more upper level stuff. Without knowing what mine and Nox's arc is like exactly is yours to be played after ours? Before? When we are "done" playing these guys?

    <-- Curious.
  7. Cool idea. Wish you all the luck in your Concept+IO Build attempt. For most, those two things just don't go together, but if anyone can pull it off, you can Werner.

I vote for this to be Apex's look. I HATE the look of full Vanguard in that color combo. Also... any word on changing the look of ALL the Merit Vendors to be less hideous?

HA, I missed that before... Diet Dew is my beverage of choice too! I switched to Diet prolly a year or so after undergrad.
  10. Okay, how about these? This is a proposed version of Bulwark's costume as well as a male and female model. Remember that details like the hat and belt are optional and that like Bulwark, it is totally cool to change details... just so long as the basic idea of the costume remains somewhat similar. Also, with us moving away from the "official" group, it would be more appropriate to customize the look at least a bit.

And these are the colors used:

  11. I hate to continue teasing you guys... but the arc is about 1/2 done. And so far... I am MONDO impressed with Nox's writing. He has done the majority of the arc so far and we have collaborated on mission goals/story. I have tackled enemy creation for the most part and costume design. I hope it all comes together. At this point, it is just about all I think about when I think about CoH!
  12. Hmmm... my least favorite AT?

Well, I have a Kheld, a Stalker, a Defender and two Trollers at 50; obviously I like those ones a fair bit. I have MMs and Brutes in the upper 40s... I love my two Dominators (though I don't play them all that much because I have newer characters)... and I just got my Tanker who is in an RP group to 30ish. My SoA is almost 46.

I guess that leaves Scrappers, Blasters and Corruptors. I have a tendency to MAKE a lot of scrappers... but I never seem to get too far with them. My highest just got to 39 or 40... but I literally made him 2+ years ago. So that is more a case of perserverence than anything else. Blasters are pretty much in the same boat. And as for Corruptors? I like playing them, but I can't ever seem to get a concept that sticks around long enough for me to get sets together I really like. And I try not to repeat playing any sets, so a lot of Corruptor options have been used by my Trollers/Defenders and my SoA forever ruined any hope there was for me playing AR.

So, bottom line, I think Scrappers and Blasters are my least played and least enjoyed characters. But I guess it should be said that it is really the character CONCEPT that allows me to "finish" a character and not what it does per se. And I really do like all the ATs at least a little.

You might have something there. Maybe that was by design... the hole was given to the two sets that it would actually be a hinderance toward.

Can we get a translator in here... stat?

And it's "dual" as in two, not "duel" as in an Alexander Hamilton style "battle."

Interesting. I think I like that idea.

I imagine they can run the arcs... but I would assume that they don't have access to the actual powers.
  18. Any thoughts on these:

Personally... I really like #4, but I will be willing to combine any of the above elements. Or, if you hate all of those ideas, then I am open to suggestions or critiques also. I took the liberty of changing the SG Symbol to something different, yet still pretty neutral. Any comments on that (you will also notice the SG Seal on page 1 has been updated)?

  19. I sure hope that the arc lives up to the hype... we have a lot to cover in just five missions.

I definitely want to signify the switch with some new outfits. I have been trying to come up with something and I will post it when I do... but I definitely want to see your ideas and get your feedback too!! And yeah, we will stay as the PCSF, I would hate to lose all the base stuff and have to refound another SG with only whatever prestige we garner post-30.

  20. Go to User CP, then look in the bar on the left for Settings & Options, then click on Edit Options.

On that page, scroll ALL the way down and look in Message Editor Interface. Click the dropdown menu and change it to "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing." (WYSIWYG = What you see is what you get). Then click the [Save Changes] button.

Doing that will give you a whole host of text editing options right about your text area every time you post. It should cover the things you are asking about.
  21. I regret to inform that the Arc is not yet completed. Though we WILL finish it ASAP, and hopefully that means for next week. Sorry to disappoint.

Did I mention that Bulwark learned a new trick that he will be showcasing after dinging 30?

Because there is a certain joy, a certain amount of discovery and visceral pleasure that comes through actually HOLDING an object like that, paging through it. I also think it is kinda cool to see the size of the Unabridged ones and take in just how convoluted and gigantic the English language is. I won't give up my dictionary/thesaurus combo for anything.

Also, there is always the chance that the entirety of electronic devices will fail some day. What?? It could happen!
