[...] Siphon Life isnt a great heal. If that's what you are getting it for then consider Dark Regen instead.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Three slotted with Heal SOs, Siphon Life restores me ~260 points of health while also lowering the accuracy of the foe as well as dealing moderate (instead of minor) damage (~50 point of damage I think mine does - I've yet to actually see the damage Dark Regeneration does - the tiny numbers are probably getting lost in the ticks from Death Shroud). Uses half the endurance of unslotted Dark Regeneration, and a bit more than three slotted Dark Regeneration with Endurance Reduction SOs.

I've definitely been happy and satisfied with mine for the... hmm... 20 or so levels I've had it. Didn't get Dark Regeneration myself until L38.
  2. The whole "forgetting to turn on toggles"-deal sounds awfully familiar .

    This thread made me laugh.

"How long can you keep your Fury up?"

Come on, don't tell me I'm the only one.

    You named your "mini-me" Fury?

Did try setting one up briefly, didnt seem to popular though.

The network was the problem - couldn't seem to get my client to properly connect to more than one network without it messing it up at one time ... now I don't even have it running 24/7 anymore either.

See that "I think" part you left out when you quoted? That makes the statement subjective... as in stating an opinion.

add me as global friend mate id love to play with you even if its just with my alts or in cov

    @mr cuddles I think or maybe @mr_cuddles can't remember.

[/ QUOTE ]Pah, for sure you can't herd full maps of +6 anymore but tankers are still very viable, you just need to adapt, all these people crying their eyes out because they are nerfed and gimped and 'Ah, those were the days..' are just too lazy to try and adapt!!
We all had to adapt, I lost 3 pets with I5, I had my AoE holds severly gimped but STILL you see loads of people playing controllers..They've been tuned down to the other ATs, maybe for tankers have been more dramatic because they were SO OVEPOWERED that it was ridiculous, so they suffered more for the loss, but ANY AT HAD TO ADAPT, WHAT'S WRONG WITH TANKERS THAT THEY CAN'T ADAPT BUT JUST CRY?!?!

    [/ QUOTE ]
YEAH! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?! LIKE OMG!
  11. I fill out the Crash Report dialog box... or at least that's what I did with my newly created Domina(tor|trix) last night - using it for the first time .

Weave actually provides significantly better protection than the Resist E passives

    [/ QUOTE ]

um, weave is smash/leathal only in melee range, doesnt give anthing against E/NE/F/C/T, and anything better than a even lvl it will be negated almost immeadly, it's massive 7% (3 sloted for def) of defence i would guess is almost useless, tough hide is better by far offering a def againt all but Psi damage types, the passive give a much mor valuable resist, which even again an av will do the same job, while i will move on tough being useful for S/L resiance, weave is a joke and not worht taking.

having said that, getting the passive resists later is probally a good call, and yeah getting tough is early is probally the only way to go if you are going to get it at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

um, weave is listed as "Self +DEF(All), Res(Immobilize)".
  13. I'd pick Resist Energies over Resist Elements.
  14. Pfft... binds... who needs binds when you have your fists to do the talking?

That's all I need to do to make the foes cower... show them my fist .
  15. That would be against the EULA.

    Toggle dropers

Doesn't Stone Melee have a nice hold? (though noting not a toggle dropper like brawl but will drop if no mez protection)

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Seismic Smash it is.

The useless type, yes. The one you can't use when you need it the most - when you're already mezzed.
  19. Hate... people who think Tankers and Brutes are godlike and indestructible.

Love... squishies with less than or about equal to 75% health and no mez protection and as little or no smashing resistance as possible (I actually have a chance at taking those out with The Private).

Hate... detoggling (I could see why it was necessary in I4, but with the overall defence adjustments and ED... right).

Love... getting ASed and hardly see your health move.

    Hate... superspeeders.

Love... getting ASed and get badly hurt, then clicking Dull Pain and seeing your health skyrocket back up to normal.
  20. I only see one solution... keelhauling !
  21. Another funny and recurring PvP thing has got to be the "y u run, ur teh zomg tank0r lolzlolzlolz!!1½1!111" retards.

Yep, I'm a Tanker and yep, I might be able to take a bit of damage... but no, I'm neither God nor Godlike - and of course I'm not going to be standing around Confused with psionic attacks bypassing my defences/resistances or normal attacks doing the same after one or more of your hidden Stalker buddies knock off almost all my health and my vital (read: all of them, pretty much) toggles.

  22. Siren's Call - and the other PvP zones - are "free fire" zones, not 1on1 duelling areas such as the Arena .

    Don't see anything wrong done...

    Toggle dropers

    [ QUOTE ]
Hand Clap I think is the only power in the Super Strength set, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it...if it had damage....then WOW

    [/ QUOTE ]
While it might disorient, it's not a toggledropper like Brawl and so forth.

    Toggle dropers

    [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
Yup energy melee does have a good number of 'stun' attacks. These only drop toggles if the target has no mez resistance, and will only drop toggles on something say like a tank or a scrapper if you can overcome their mez protection

Stun and total focus are the two prime attacks for this, they always do a stun portion, all the other attacks have a chance to do stun so its not guarenteed. You can break through sometimes on a tank or a scrapper, but you usually have to have a couple of attempts at it from my experience as its not 100% reliable. Usually it will take at least 3 stun attacks to be going at once to do the job, so as mentioned stun, total focus then hope for a lucky stun hit from one of your other attacks.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Obviously never seen an EM in PvP then, Energy Punch and Bone smasher both have a 100% chance to drop at least one toggle, iirc.

    If you're a Blaster, yes.
