I am only going to echo what the others said. I suggest you take a much closer look at the game, and if you still don't enjoy it, this isn't the game for you.
Also I hate it when there's only one "good" and there's two "bad and UGLY". Positive stuff always helps your own mood and others. -

Not sure it has, actually. A lot of them are going to be impossible to figure out what they are. Would be nice to actually have an Atlas Medallion though...
[/ QUOTE ]
Funnily enough, when I suggested something similar the other day, it was you who dismissed it: HereRolf.
[/ QUOTE ]
Um, that's a PPD icon for the costume. NOT a badge icon costume piece.
And he didn't "dismiss" it. He simply told you it already exists. -
I know my guides are rubbish, but this time I'll try to make it as good as possible.
If it is rubbish...well, at least I tried.
Levelling Pact: Q&A Guide
So what's this Levelling Pact then
The Levelling Pact is a new feature with the free update Issue 13: Power and Responsibility.
That's all well and good, but what does it actually do?
Well, the Levelling Pact alows you and another player to form a Levelling Pact, and whenever one of you gets Experenice Points, the other gets some too.
How much will I get if my friend gets XP
AFAIK, it's 50%. So this will mean if my Levelling Pact buddy got 10 XP, I would get 5. That good enough for you?
Can I quit my Levelling Pact?
I'm unsure of this. I haven't seen a quit button yet, but there may be one lurking somewhere. But there would probably be one for good reason. I shall check.
Does our Levelling Pact ever end?
At Level 50, when you get no more Experenice Points, your Levelling Pact will end.
Now that we've gone over what it's all about, here's some questions about the community part of the Levelling Pact.
Who will Level Pact with me?
Mostly anyone will be friendly enough, but you have to be quite close to them. Your friends and your SG are your best bet for making a Levelling Pact.
What if my Levelling Pact buddy is harassing me?
The best thing you can do is petition and ignore it. If you find a quit button which I'll try to test, then do it. Petition and put them on Global Ignore. DO NOT let it go on because of the XP. Having a fun time is worth a lot more than the XP.
What if I'm called a cheater when I'm using the Levelling Pact
Petition and Global Ignore. It's the best thing you can do, and if it was cheating, why would the devs implement it?
[b]OK, thanks. That's pretty much all I need to know.[b]
Thank you for reading the guide, and I hope it's good quality! -

Is anyone other than me thinking it's when you hand over your Salvage to get a costume slot?

Unfortunately my old chatlogs were wiped when I uninstalled the game a few months back. I'm back now but none of the chatlogs I have contain any "rude" tells, but I can remember experenices.
I've got a few potty mouths shouting at me for not joining a team. I've got what all of us get eventually. Unfortunately CoX is not free of the complete morons via tell.
Not anything stands out as offensive, but I do remember one recently.
I was on one of my lower level toons, got a tell only stating "fill" then an invite, I selected No. Then got a "thanks a lot, you're really helpful". My reply was simply "I don't want to fill, you got a problem with that?" Afterwards, no more tells from that person.
Also some of the experenices posted here are intresting.

[Agreed on the Ki thing. This is more Fight Club than Dragonball, sorudo, and IMO, it should remain that way.
[/ QUOTE ]
what in the name chi or ki did i say dragonball?
chi or ki blasts are street fighter things, or do i need to take every kind of wiki site with pictures to just make it clear.....or use the sesamstreet way?
let's give you a hint.

No, we're not looking for a Japanese street fighting kinda style...almost every Japanese thing to do with fighting does Ki. This is set in AMERICA, land of WWE and stuff. -
Meh, have fun...wait...you won't! REEL LIF3 TEH SUXXORZ!
Anyway, see ya! Hopefully Issue 14 will bring you back into this gameMission Architect is looking like awesome

Tbh this Halloween event was a bit boring even with the Zombie invasion, it felt the Rikti Invasion with Zombies. Next year they need to have something a little more unique to spice it up.
Back on topic, I got some cossies on some toons, no serious ToTing, just clicking doors whenever I'm free. I did get all the Zombie badges on one of my Union toons, though. Also got new cossie slot on a toon or two. Apart from that I didn't do too much this year. -
All the Controller's attack power have ultimate damage. That would make me old Controller AWESOME

The PPD hardsuit IS available you do however need to attend one of the events where they are giving them away - and the next one is this month going by GRs hints about Memorabilia
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, but we dont all have the money and time. That's the point. You play the game, you're not necessarily a fanboy who goes out to every event. -
Thanks Kin! That macro actually works! Tried it out.
This should be the best macro ever! -
For Illusion Control, I'd really like a 10th power where you summon all the sig heroes and villians!
It would be sooooo overpowered, but who cares! And maybe if you slot it correctly you could perma it, making it the best power EVER! -
[ QUOTE ]
not really, i just posted part one, part 2 is about scaling that up to a point where you really need to work for it.
so instead of 250 points, you need 25.000 points.
and even while that sounds a lot, if you're having fun in a regular team, it's gone before you know.
so looking it that way, the SG-only condition is really a bit to hash, just making it so it needs more points but you can get it from any team makes these kind of things enjoyable.
maybe have it so that, for every team member you get 1 point, but if someone is in the same SG, you have a 30% chance you get 2 points more.
[/ QUOTE ]
You do know that your previous 25,000 would require over 3000 8 man teams?
Also 30% chance doesn't sound fair to me. 50% maybe, I didn't put a "chance" on it so it would be friendly to smaller SGs. This is really aimed at getting small SGs to team together and have fun, but big SGs can also take part in it. -
My main, Phantom Blue, would like to be involved with the in-game lore. The fellow Phantoms would too...as like a secret unknown section of the Freedom Phalanx. You know, like the Vindicators.
But he could be a member of the Freedom Phalanx and Statesman becomes EVIL and I kill him, making the world safe, becoming the leader of the Freedom Phalanx!
But I can only dream... -

if it's for any team member a point no matter what SG you're part of(or not) makes teaming more rewarding, THAT is a way to promote teaming.
[/ QUOTE ]
There has started to be a tendency for people to want more and more rewards for less and less. Not specificaly pointing at you, sorudo, but whenever anyone suggests anything like the OP has, someone else comes out with something saying that the condition is too hard to meet and they want the same rewards no matter what.
[/ QUOTE ]
These are not supposted to be "easy", I think you're trying to point out that, I know I agree with you small SGs will take a while and then when you get the rewards from the points your SG starts to grow because when SGs are there for longer>get bigger therefore the 5% and 10% and so forth really shine out when you got into millions of prestige.
Also the point is you can boast that your small SG managed to work hard and team together to get these rewards, therefore making people think "hey, these guys are a nice bunch who team together and enjoy it, this is the kinda SG I wanna join" therefore they might join>more members.
Also, good point sorudo, but when you do something like that it makes the rewards simply too easy, like from levels 30-40 you could a few of the rewards. As Ravenswing pointed out earlier, it's simply too easy to achieve. -

Seems like I Killed a n00b will be the winner cos its got 2 votes (me and Soul_Storm)...
Wait, GR, come back, pwease!
[/ QUOTE ]
They're not votes. This has been said again and again and again. Read the rules and UNDERSTAND them. 1 nomination, or 1 billion nominations, it's all the same. Only the FIRST one counts.
[/ QUOTE ]
votes, nominations, whatever!
Wait, your saying if 1000 nominations were made for this, then 999 of them wouldn't count?
Edit: Thats the rule for nominating more than once for yourself, I nominated once and so did Soul_Storm. -
OK Cx I'm going to try that.
If it's more fun that DB/EA I'll stick with it. -
Perhaps we could have a SG points system.
If you have 2 or more players in a team who are in the same SG, that SG can claim SG points. You earn the points by completing mission by mission.
2 SG members = 2 points
3 SG members = 3 points
and vice versa.
These points earned could be claimed for these rewards:
5% Prestige Gain Rate Increase (eg, you usually get 100 prestige, now you get 105 prestige) - 100 SG points
10% Current Prestige Increase (1000 prestige turns into 1100 prestige) - 50 SG points
Increase SG prestige by 250k - 150 SG points
SG Name Costume Piece (Chest Piece, so I could put the name "League of Superheroes" as a chest piece) - 200 SG points
Giant Wired Generator Base Item (Increases Energy by 1500) - 250 SG points
New Base Room - Living Quarters - 300 SG points
Hope you like the suggestion. -

Extending the event? Hmm.. Guess I need to up my post count:
First of all, once it started "working" I'd like to say the zombie invasions have been a nice event, especially when it didn't lag madly. I love the amount of different zombie cossies you ppl made and bringing the community together like this (and rikti invasions & mothership raids) are what I really like most about the game. I still miss the old hami because of the turn-up. It's social gaming at it's best.
...but....
...after a few days we're all tired of it. Yes it'll take a whole year before we see it again (hopefully working 100%) and yes, I guess some people still want all badges on all alts and feel the panic rising at the moment, and yes, no debt for dying as if that would be a problem, but I'm really tired of it - as predicted even when there was problems with it!
I'm even rather surprised how few showed up during the initial days and notice this is the first even I've only done on one alt, leaving my old trusted hero behind,as well as my 2nd badge villain.
Last word: Winter Event FTW!
[/ QUOTE ]
Completly agree with you. Zombies have just been added as an extra invasion force and thats it. Theyre probably not even worth killing if you dont want the badges. Also the bugs make it even worse.
Halloween event was really scary (pun not intended), let's wait till the Winter Event where we get our ski ramps back. They are so more enjoyable. -
