Levelling Pact: Q&A Guide
If you don't know how the XP is shared between people in a pact and don't know if you can quit it, should you really be posting a guide just yet?

Yes. I can now confirm it's 50%.
And firmly enough, the quitting was one simple question. I'm going to check it anyway. So it will be confirmed soon enough.
But the way the xp is shared out is not that simple is it?
The whole idea is that you give 50% of your earned xp to your partner, if you are both on the same team it means you give each other 50% of the xp earned and receive your 50% as normal and level at "normal" speed. If only one member of your pact is online then they will continue sharing xp but while not receiving xp from a partner you will level at "half" speed.
And you can quit a level pact whenever you like but will not be able to rejoin if you're higher than level 5(which is the cap for starting a level pact).
Now thats what I just picked up after 15 minutes or so of looking for level pact information. Now I'm not trying to write a guide but if I were I'd at least try looking for information first. Now If someone was seriously trying to find out some concrete information on Level Pacts I'd head over HERE where one of our Colonial Cousins has actually compiled some nice and accurate information on i13.
Kneeling girls! Statues driving cars! What's going on? Ten years ago a man was arrested in the area for driving statues around in a car. Was it him?

I hope that you can quit or else it could become some hideous marriage from hell from which there's no escape.
Even when you move out you pay them support for the rest of your life!

That's a brilliant idea Psiphon - how about on the first tuesday evening after I13 launches (there's nothing good on TV on a tuesday, trust me) everyone brings a Lvl 1-5 toon to Atlas and we hold a mass moonie-style wedding ceremony? Get a red-name to bless the union using the Atlas plaque as an altar, take your vows and then it's off to the sewers for a power-leveling honeymoon!
(Ideally, participants should have the wedding pack and a halloween costume slot unlocked so they can have their ceremonial formal wear and honeymoon beach-wear set up)
/em confetti for everyone!

Fair enough; this wasn't really intended to go into the big details of it all, just a basic Q&A guide while it's just been on test last night. An updated, more precise guide, will be created soon.
For now, you can either go to this thread or the linked one over in US...I guess this is more a beginner's guide to the Levelling Pact, rather than a deep, number-filled guide.

Did you even read the page on the American forum? You're selling it short to describe it as a deep number filled guide its a few paragraphs. Granted its missing a bit on quitting but then so is your "guide"

But you even got most of THAT totally wrong! As it is, this "guide" is just totally misleading and should be removed, as you're giving WRONG information.
Some points for you to consider.
1. Before writing a guide, have a clear and accurate understanding of how the feature WORKS.
2. Get someone someone who knows how the feature works to proof read it.
3. After 2, get someone who DOESN'T know how the feature works, to proof read it and see if they understand your guide.
4. When doing a Q&A, make sure you can answer the questions you're asking. I mean, how can you post a question to yourself, and answer it with "I don't know"?

Does our Levelling Pact ever end?
At Level 50, when you get no more Experenice Points, your Levelling Pact will end.

Are you certain that hitting 50 actually ends it? Or is it just ineffective whilst 50 is the cap and so xp is no longer earnt? If the devs ever increased the level cap would 50s who hit 50 in a pact find that they were still in the pact?
Just wondering... and I'd guess that a guide writer may have some insight on this.

Quoted for agreement * 2. Don't intend to sound mean but your guides really do need work and checking before being posted.

Levelling Pact: Q&A Guide
So what's this Levelling Pact then
The Levelling Pact is a new feature with the free update Issue 13: Power and Responsibility.
That's all well and good, but what does it actually do?
Well, the Levelling Pact alows you and another player to form a Levelling Pact, and whenever one of you gets Experenice Points, the other gets some too.
How much will I get if my friend gets XP
AFAIK, it's 50%. So this will mean if my Levelling Pact buddy got 10 XP, I would get 5. That good enough for you?
Can I quit my Levelling Pact?
I'm unsure of this. I haven't seen a quit button yet, but there may be one lurking somewhere. But there would probably be one for good reason. I shall check.
Does our Levelling Pact ever end?
At Level 50, when you get no more Experenice Points, your Levelling Pact will end.
Now that we've gone over what it's all about, here's some questions about the community part of the Levelling Pact.
Who will Level Pact with me?
Mostly anyone will be friendly enough, but you have to be quite close to them. Your friends and your SG are your best bet for making a Levelling Pact.
What if my Levelling Pact buddy is harassing me?
The best thing you can do is petition and ignore it. If you find a quit button which I'll try to test, then do it. Petition and put them on Global Ignore. DO NOT let it go on because of the XP. Having a fun time is worth a lot more than the XP.
What if I'm called a cheater when I'm using the Levelling Pact
Petition and Global Ignore. It's the best thing you can do, and if it was cheating, why would the devs implement it?
[b]OK, thanks. That's pretty much all I need to know.[b]
Thank you for reading the guide, and I hope it's good quality!
