Well at least its a known issue, Didnt have time to mail them before I dragged my carcass into the office. Hopefully will be sorted come hometime. Cheers for that.

Indeed, fancied a quick look before work yet down store means I'm not rolling any toons anytime soon, dashed bad show when I imagine making new characters will be quite popular today.

Now, I'm not fully up on the LOTG recharge bonus, but I was udner the impression you can only stack the same recharge bonus 5 times, regardless of what set the bonus comes from?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, but iirc there are no sets that gives 7.5% recharge bonus. So 5 LotG like said earlier.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is always Basilisk's Gaze :P
...and Sting Of The Manticore, Mocking Beratement and kinetic Crash
[EDIT] As Eddie B already pointed out..Ill get me coat
[ QUOTE ]
LOTG IO is an exception, because it is a single IO bonus, not a SET bonus, I believe.
[/ QUOTE ]
And thats what It seems to say Here.
Castle further elaborated on the rule of five in I13 Closed Beta saying that the exclusion of more than five of the same bonuses is based on the name of the bonus and not its value. For example, a character can benefit from up to five global benefits of Luck of the Gambler: Defense/Increased Recharge Speed, which gives a global +7.5% bonus to Recharge Rate, as well as up to five set bonuses of +7.5% Recharge. That's because under the Real Numbers in a character's Combat Numbers window, you will see the Luck of the Gambler with a total of 37.5% Recharge bonus (5 x 7.5%) and Huge Recharge Bonus with 37.5% Recharge bonus -- two different named bonuses, even though they have the same value bonus for the same attribute. -
I got some decent Milage during last weeks raid attempt with this adaptable bind I usually use for finding named mobs..
/bind CTRL+] "beginchat /bind 1 "targetcustomnext alive XXX""
It was handy for when people were shouting out "attack my target" and I couldn't see them, just hitting Control + ] brought up the adaptable bind so I could quickly replace the XX's with whoever's name was tagetting and pressing enter meant I could find them quick by tapping 1. -
After reading the glowing review in, (I think) GamesTM sometime before April 05.
The first thing that caught my eye was the character creation, never liked super heroes much and still don't but the character creation made me take the plunge and the game itself made me stay -
Yeah I hadn't even though about merit rewards but if we can get a nice big turnout its a nice sell to get more people involved enough robots to earn yourself a random drop sounds nice
-
I agree that these forums are certainly better than most others I've seen, and its very easy to just stay to the events sub forum just to see if anything is planned.
With regards to further advertising of the forums and chat channels more than whats current, todays Robot Rampage and the Hami raid have been spread across "Defiant Events"(and others) MoTD for well over a week with dates times and links to the forum and yet still people when logging on who have been online and in said channels during that time were asking "is there a raid or something?" How much more can be done? -
I can bring an Empath Def for Team ommy this time matey as long as mainly SO's is good enough. All the usual, Recall friend fly etc
-
Fantastic work organising this Ommy much appreciated, sad to fail, and while plan B backfired it very nearly worked and would have been a joy

I want to join. Bringing Human Gamma Wave, an ill/rad troller.

As per Ommy's updated team listing 2 posts up at 11:00 we were just needing 2 scrappers, whether thats still the case now I don't know. Best to send a tell in game -
We're starting after Robot Rampage which is the mass gathering og Kronos Titans in Kings Row which is set at 12:00, Rampage normally lasts 30-45 minutes depending on how soon all the bait arrive to spawn said titans. Somewhere between 12:30 - 12:45 would seem a safe bet.
-
2 Toons (scrap & Tank) sat in PD ready and waiting that man

I've always found in the majority the comments and "Looking for flags" to be more guidelines rather than rules, I too believe that most people will leave the flag to the Grey "not looking" and leave pretty much the same comment for the majority of the characters life.
The few times I am actually trying to recruit people to a team what I normally see is something akin to this Image where the flag is set to not looking yet the comment is clearly LFT.
So what do I believe the comment or the flag? Since I can't assume that this person is wanting a team yet hasn't changed flag to "looking" or isn't looking for a team and hasn't changed comment to "soloing" the only way to be sure is to send a short polite tell, quite a lot of the time they may be about to log, are selling up or just taking 5 after a TF. The comment rarely reflects that.
Ted. -
If I get the time matey Ill try to run the arc with a second as well just for more botty fun
-
Among others I got an Ill/Rad (Teufelskreis) thats game if team Ommy still needs a debuffer, Let me know if you'd rather a Scrapper or kin or something
[EDIT] In fact just had a butchers now and Teuf has Chem and Bio nukes already and 3 shivans, can easily jump into the next ship raid too I would imagine. -
Deleted a fair few but have
Emp/Elec - 50 - First ever toon and was a slog getting to 50 and most of the time no fun at all, Kept out of spite.
Cold/Ice - 50 - Fabulous fun, one of my favorites.
Sonic/Sonic - 33 - not as fun as the cold but not as soul destroying as the emp :P -
Hear hear that man, Been fortunate enough to join some of these fine* players with doing a TF "as fast as we can" and enjoy the challenge of a speed run as much as the challenge I've had from a all defender or all scrapper STF. Unlike low merit payouts like KT tf or Eden trial doing the states TF at speed takes a decent team that can work together with skill, and a little bit of luck, the security chief in first mob would help for example. I doubt such a TF will ever be reduced in reward as long as it stays no-where near as exploitable as the eden trial was.
*/em straight face
And since the gauntlet has been thrown down I recall taking part in a marathon 9 hour States TF which included 3 shivan runs so I rather think the hour run of states I took part in has been paid for in full, Now beat that If you dare! -

Dark/Sonic this time round, sonic buffs are spiffy but Dark is just top drawer.
Sonic/Sonic - 2
Dark/Sonic - 7 -
Sonic/Sonic: 6
Rad/Rad: 2
Because this coin I just flipped came up heads, and heads means "vote for Sonic/Sonic Ted, then roll one....You listening to me Maul you northern monkey?!"
And if I ignore the coin I am beaten. -
As always, count me in that man.

The ever informative Jade Strike drew my attention to the last issue of the City Scoop over on our colonial cousins forums with particular interest to this section regarding changes to floating objects in the new issue.
I'd seen that raid pathing had been disabled so that doorways could be blocked but didn't realise what this would mean to floating/stacking until I found this post about what people had managed on test so far.
Beef_Cake's idea with having the portal beacons standing out from the Teleporter is inspired and I'm looking forward to have a mess about with it myself. Also hoping that the large screaming head can finally be placed as a "doorway" between rooms.
While its not tiered access to Salvage/Insps/Enhancers or any of the other things people have been asking for it does seem like a nice by-product of what they have done to bases and certainly a step in the right direction. Looking forward to what the more talented base builders can do with this extra power
Try as I might I really couldn't see any reference to this anywhere, even on the US base forums its dropped back a page or two so apologies if someone else has posted about it.
