Stop Police!

Hey ^^
I just wanted to ask... why don't we Heros are able to look like a PPD Cop ? I mean ^^ I like those brave NPC Guys and i would like to fight as a Cop-Hero with Gun, Shotgun or Rifle ^^
At least we should be able to gather PPD Hardsuit Parts in some way so we can look like REALLY Heroic keeper of justice (and helper of old ladys that want to cross the street ! ^^)

PPD Hardsuit is a one piece model, I think. It was put out as a conference freebee.

You'll be able to get PPD uniform parts (possibly as part of Day Jobs) in I13.

You can make an Assault Rifle Blaster. You can get a Revolver temp power as a drop or from the auction system.

You don't need a badge to unlock the PPD uniforms in issue 13.

You could create a Shield/Mace tanker, selecting a trunchion or nightstick mace model, and a PPD riot shield model.

How about...

A PPD badge badge which, like the military medals chest emblem, could be pinned over a jacket.

In fact, a version of each of the collectable badges in the game which could be pinned on your costume as an "over" emblem (one visible at any one time).

It's a veteran reward. Takes a while to get but you get a number of options then.

It would indeed be nice if the Hardsuits (and I mean the proper ones, not just the Shells, which is what they really are) were available, maybe through badges or such, but somehow. Maybe as a dayjob badge would be very neat...
Although not many powersets would work with them, bar energy melee at present.
