    My stone tank has never been knocked back or down while in granite. I suppose things could be different in PVP land however.
    Perhaps a few kb-protection IOs to help plug the gap?
  2. Granite comes with knockback protection as is.. not sure why you would need Acrobatics on top as well?
    I see no reason why Acro would detoggle it however.

    Grant Invis especially, while it does have its uses the duration is so short you will be forever rebuffing your minions.
    And you will get enough of that with the bubbles.
  5. Gah.. Yes Mother Mayhem is the only AV I would be very reluctant to tank.
    But even then with Dull Pain and some decent support an Inv tanker could 'tank' her well enough.

  14. My thoughts on this :

    Battle Drones==> Acc(1) Acc(3) Dmg(3) Dmg(7) Dmg(7) Dmg(9)

    At high levels the Drones are your level -2 so they do need a bit of extra accuracy.
    3xAcc and 3xDmg are good here.

    Protector Bots==> Acc(12) Acc(13) Dmg(13) Dmg(15) Dmg(15) Dmg(17)

    The Prot-Bots force fields they give out do give a good amount of defence (7.5%) so some defbufs are very useful here.
    I currently have mine slotted 2xAcc, 2xDmg and 2xDefBuf.
    After the last upgrade they do start to use a lot of endurance so a EndRed would be handy.

    I prefer Aid Other to Repair (although I do have both), it will also enable you to get Aid Self. Very handy at times.

    Dispersion Bubble sucks End like you would not believe.
    3xEndReds are needed.

    The invisibility powers are of only minor use, you would be better off with the leadership pool IMO.

    With ED you only get a very small benefit from slotting more than 3 SOs of a certain type in a power.
    It isn't worth it.

    Depends what you mean by 'best'.
    IMO Fire is the most fun, Stone is the toughest but very slow.
    Ice is probably the best team tank now.

    I think it's safe to say that all tanks are tankers on account of the fact that they are tanks.

    Personally I would be tempted to slot the Prot-Bots for Def.
    And an End possibly.
    No real need for repair not with Twilight Grasp slotted up.

    For a Tank?
    What difference exactly?
    Stone skin + Granite will cap smashing and lethal resistance by themselves. Running tough at the same time would be a waste of end.

    Tar Pit also reduces the damage resistance of enemies it effects this greatly increases the damage your troops will do. Far more than assault would.

    Darkest Night makes it hard for enemies to hit you and reduces the damage they do if they do, as thugs are fairly squishy this can make all the difference.

    Assault only needs to be slotted for Endurance, 2 would be ideal.
    Tactics would be best slotted 2xEnd,2xAcc pos 3xAcc later on.
    Tactics is certainly the better power here as the damage boost from Assault is fairly low, it also gives a perception boost which is handy for spotting stealthed enemies.
    Although the accuracy boost is still not that stunning. it gives about 12% when slotted up compared to 33% for a single Accuracy SO slotted in the summon power.

    I wouldn't personally, slot up Aid Other or Repair instead. The Prot-Bot heal is on a fairly long timer and you have no control on which bot they use it.
    DefBuf would be handier IMO.

    I would slot bots as follows:
    Tier 1: 3xAcc and 3xDmg.
    Prot-Bots: 2xAdd, 2xDmg and 2xDef.
    At 32 I would replace a Dmg with an EndRedx as they do use a lot of end at that point.
    The force bubbles they use do give a good defense bonus and are worth slotting. It's 7.5% def unslotted IIRC.
    Assault bot: 2xAcc and 3xDmg.

    No Tough Hide? I would put that one in as soon as possible. Replace Resist Elements with it. Or even dump Punch.

    I imagine this is a PVE build? In which case you can take out the second accuracies in the attacks, with the boost from Invincibility and Rage; 1 in each attack is all you will need.

    An extra DefBuff in Invincibility might be good.

    Each bubble gives %7.5 defense, so when you get 2 protectors they double up on the tier 1 and 3 pets giving them %15 defense to all (%18 when 3slotted for def).
    Most definitely worth it.
