Is there not a random Longbow Ballista EB that some times spawns in mercy maybe if they up his spawn rait and give him some more buddys he could be a persuade GM.

Something like Longbow Pursuit team consisting of Maybe a EB ballista along with a couple of those EB hero types longbow (i forget there proper name) and a few normal longbow.

Story Wise it could be something like

A Longbow Pursuit team have been dispatched to mercy island in a attempt to recapture the Zig escapes

defeating the team X number of times could award some kind of badge Pursued maybe? could also perhaps give a temp power of a less effective hide.

the longbow should probably use the purple code so that 50s cant just come along and wipe out the entire spawn in one go to get the power

I suppose but maybe while there being added they could tweak the character text to also acknowledge the Prefix so contacts referred to you as "The MESS" instead of "MESS"

I think this would be possible under weapon customisation if i remember right the reason that spines (and thorns for that matter) didn't receive alternate looks was because they could only alter the spines connected to your body so they could give you steel thorns/spines but when you launched impale the thorn/spine sticking out your targets chest would still be the normal spine.

So what they could do is have multiple spine/thorn layouts that you could pick in character customisation they would just have to keep the original colors

Ok so if you dont want to bunny hop all the time simply take combat jumping and only toggle it on when you want to jump higher

this whole issue was beaten to death last month or maybe the month before that it go's something like this

but before it got as far as court room (makes me wonder how strong exactly marvels case was) marvel NCsoft and cryptic came to a agreement this agreement may or may not stop them from releasing a offline costume creator but nobody outside of those 3 company's knows as they cant tell joy public what was agreed to (daft but that's law for you)

don't worry about taking the second attack over the first

while there is a lot of good sense behind taking that first attack (normally quicker so can be cycled through quicker to build more fury) but as you get more attacks this becomes less important as you can build a chain using your other attacks.

as to building fury don't worry all incoming attacks regardless of weather they hit or miss will build fury also the higher in rank the foe the more fury you'll build

and just in case your wondering being attacked builds fury far quicker than attacking so there's no real need to worry about gaps in your attack chain affecting your fury building

As to slotting normal brute slotting for attacks go's something like 2 end red, 2 acc, 2 damage but every one dose things slightly different and your power sets will affect your slotting to some degree

for example my own DB/WP will more than likely skip that second end red in his attacks as he'll be running quick recovery and stamina instead i may slot a extra acc to help with the carrying out of combos

I have neither tough or aid self on my elec brute i did however slot as many of the chance of heal proc (from one of the sleep sets) as i could in my attacks

wouldn'y double jump be just the same as being able to jump double the normal jump hight?

Im not entirely convinced that the HEATs need looking at tho if the devs were to take a look ta them id like ti see them further diversify and make a bigger difference between WS and PB at the moment there largely copies of eatch other with a few power changes that allow them to perform marginally different rolls in a team Blaster/scrapper/defender/tank for a PB and Blaster/tank/troller for the WS i would like the devs to take them further into these rolls especially the warshades controller like ten dances there present but not really there i would love to see them become more controller ish maybe at the cost o some of there blast attacks in human form

rain and fog could be done for rain a zone wide version of "Rain of" power could be used so we could even get different types of rain

for fog there is at least one mish in croatoa that has random patches of fog that drift about the mish causing a debuff if your in it the same could be used in zone if you wanted entities to also inhabit the fog simply create said creature as a mob and give it a fog aura power

This thread looks like its turning into a nice big can of worms. Would it really matter if some one created the Michael or one of his fellow angels as a Alt.

To complain simply because some ones created them is IMO daft especially if the person playing that alt is doing so in a respectful way

If you are going to complain about it you should treat all such characters or Alts the same to say "i don't want to see Michael as a Alt because it offends me but Zeus or Thor's fine because there a dead religion" could be taken as very offensive people still follow these religions as recently as 2006 a court case was one to once again allow the worship of the Greek gods in Athens so don't assume just because its a old religion that had a decline in numbers that its a dead religion

I would imagine if there ever was some kind of religion implemented in CoX it would have a heavy slant towards Polytheism and the worship of Zeus, Hera, Hermes, Athena etc etc as within the CoH world these beings or at least entities that claim to be them exist.

Personaly i would love to see the able use first two powers from primery and first from secondery idea extended to all the ATs

also if like me you have a credit card and use it for large amounts (new car summer holiday etc) having a coh sub go on it would cost me more interest something i would like to avoid

hmm in freakish coincidence i arrive home today to find a small package from my bank (RBS) its a small calculator looking thing which is going to make making payments more secure by adding a extra layer of security to transactions.
