Actually it's opinion and perception.

One side says yes it's pvp because,it is in the zones and secondly they can steal your bounty.

The other side says no it's pve and should be removed.

PVP has always been a source of frustration for both sides(pvers & pvpers),everytime the topic comes up and lines are drawn.Shivans/Nukes are primarily used in tf's/sf's(at least that's what I use them for),and badges are collected by both sides.

A balance of sorts is in play,pvers go in when no one is there or take their chances to get what they feel is pve content.
Pvpers on the other hand get dead zones because the pvers far outweigh the population of pvpers.Sometimes there are conflicts and most times not,every pver has some horror story about a pvp zone(gankers/griefers/trash talkers,etc) that further alienates the pvp crowd.

PVP at best is a borked system in this game,there are no rules,no honor,and it's a anything goes playstyle.
If people run then good get the hint,they don't want to play pvp.Nothing is going to change and it's going to be a headache for probably the remainder of the game.

There is no easy answer for either side,if the pvers have a problem I suggest contacting Castle,starting a petition drive,w/e to get it changed.Otherwise this thread is going to keep going on with ppl finally getting pissed at each other,then it will get locked,with everyone right where they started from.
I personally don't care I have been in the zones badging,gettin temp powers,and have yet had anyone come after me in a long time.

That sucks Leo,glad to hear you okay and didn't take it.I have my CCW(concealed carry permit) so I have little fear of being hurt/robbed/etc.

In addition to what was posted above alot of ppl that I know won't set foot in a pvp zone PERIOD.These ppl are badger's,and some would like to experience the pve content of those but,have had very bad experiences(gankers,griefers,etc).
One guy I knew just wanted to get the zone exploration badges and got tp ganked by members of an sg who took turns all the while killing him.He finally gave up and left,yes he did try to talk to them and got trash talked in return.

I knew of a group from an sg that went to WB to get nukes for an upcoming LRSF,they went in 3 strong and got jumped by 2,fought back and killed off one of them(they in turn died several times).The next thing they knew is seven more people showed and with the other two repeatedly killed them off until they left zone.They argued back and forth and this other sg actually followed them to Obo and Gville still trash talking them.
They petioned the worst of the offenders,which did no good because the gm gave them you entered a pvp zone so what do you expect.

Having pve content in a pvp zone is one of the stupidest things in this game,trying to get some of the badges in RV is damn near impossible.I have personally been in RV trying to kill Statesman,and the other heroes for badges and have been driven out of the zone by pvpers who wouldn't leave me alone.

So no I don't blame the tank for leaving,in percentages of things people I have encountered that are decent and willing to help you out or duel or teach you the ropes is like 10% of the pvp community(note I am talking zone pvp) the other 90% are ******** with nothing better to do than causing trouble protected under the "it's a pvp zone" excuse.People who do not let you play parts of the game because they are busy stalking and killing you off is griefing in my book.

As far as I know I haven't seen anything on what exactly it is going to be.It probably will be like the content that has already been released(downloadable).

No idea on price either,yet it would probably be smart to release it in stores also.Maybe to attract more customers.I'm afraid we are still in the dark as to what is going to happen.

Never,think it was a waste of time on the devs part.IMO it's like pvp only a small % of ppl use it.

I started of on redside first and stayed there a long time,sorry heroes are overrated.


Warpact a bots/ff mm my first 50,he performs emotional/pyschological experiments on people to see the effects of fear,dispair,etc.Didn't actually take me too long to level him,I get him out once in awhile to knock stuff around.


Pyerun/Kreigpakt a ss/fa brute my second 50.A forgotten demigod of Slavic mythology he wanders the Earth doing whatever he wants.Recently transferred him to Virtue hence the name change.

Dr.Tesla a elec/elec/elec blaster finally got around leveling a hero,although he is actually tied with my Bane on the third 50 spot.Grandson of the famous scientist he uses his abilities for good.

Necro Portia a Bane I actually play this toon alot.Serving Arbiter Apolis to investigate why several destined ones had been killed,he himself was slain.Apolis petitioned the Mu to raise him,although outside of their abilities they did know of a CoT ritual that could bring the dead to life.
Portia's wife(my wife in rl) led a team of destined ones to procure the spell and succeeded,the spell called "Vengeant Path" brought him back but,as a revenant.He single mindedly is investigating who killed him and has recently changed several things to appear as a destined one.

Impactite a mace/stone brute,I made him to have something unstoppable.Love setting the diff to +4/8 and stomping everything.

Merkuris a fire/kin troller,he's a farmer only reason I created him.

Dark Furyan a name that was my first toon(dk/dk corr) he eventually after several incarnations became a spines/da scrapper.He is an alien with a taste for Rikti flesh,don't play him too much tho.

Hibakusha/Pacte de Guerre my rad/rad corr I wanted a major debuffer after watching a friend take down a gm and later on several people in SC.I made him my badge hunter.Now on Virtue hence the name change.

Stopped leveling toons although I have some in the 30's range,I'm waiting till GR comes out before I try to level anyone up.

In addition I wouldn't mind a NPC assault for base raids.I for one loved doing base raids back in the day.But,hated the fact that all the hard work we did could be destroyed and would require us to rebuild it.

But,still that would be neat you could pick which enemies would invade,the reason why they invaded(destroy your base,kill the defenders,steal an object,etc).In addition get a reward at the end some kind of merit reward or HO or pie.

Yea I could see a "gun pack" one with different models of rifles and pistols with DP coming out with GR.Different styles of clothing like wild west,colonial,swat/military,and something futuristic.

Steampunk would be cool with nemesis inspired costumes,plus something along the lines of Gaiman's Teknophage/Mr.Hero steam ideas.

A monsterpack with different heads maybe more werewolves,vampires and other horrors.It would be good to get some tentacle arms,hands with longer claws/talons,etc.

A villain/hero pack which would of different groups costumes examples; PPD helmets,Freakshow appendages,CoT robes,etc.

So many possibilities....

I for one am glad they are back,reason being is I like beaten the snot out of them.My grandpa was in WW2 and used to tell me stories of what it was like and the horror of that time.
In a way I believe if my grandpa was alive today he would get a kick out of people constantly destroying them.

A blessing because I have had you in my life,to have loved you and to have been loved in return.My life with you has passed by so quickly,from when we met on the dig,to both of us finding that damned tablet,to our life afterwards.

My curse and you know is what I gained from the tablet.The "other",the entity,or whatever it is.What I failed to tell you and I am sorry,is that the people at M.A.G.I have determined that the entity will eventually take me over.
I should have known something was wrong,with each encounter with villains and criminals I became more and more aggressive and violent.Even one time in a battle with those Circle of Thorn kidnappers I actually became....something else.My form changed and I killed all of them,innocent people got hurt in the process and I knew something was wrong.

The people at M.A.G.I. couldn't help and then the Rikti invaded,we as heroes were basically let loose to stop them no matter what it took.In this the entity relished the carnage and death it caused,I changed more often then naught and I feared I would soon lose my humanity.But,now I have hope to redeem myself Hero 1 has asked for me to step forward and join him,to take the fight to them,and stop them so you and the world may be saved.

I'm sorry I left and didn't tell you but,I knew you would try to stop me.The entity...Merkuris is overjoyed,it knows it will let loose fully this time because,I can no longer control it.Only in these times when it rests can I be myself.I believe this will be a one way trip,I believe we can stop them,but,I believe we will not make it back.

Take in consideration the people who cannot play all the time.That curve does help them to lvl,I remember a friend of mine who didn't get to play too often got a lvl when we ran a few mishes one night and he was overjoyed(either mid 20's or 30's don't recall).
Also,remember adjusting your diff now does affect your xp,hence -1/1 will be lower than +3/5,if you think your going to fast slow it down then.
Remember the devs are trying to reach a very broad spectrum of players and some are going to think it's too easy/hard and others are going to think it's just right.

I do believe at one time BAB's said there was no way in hell they would ever do any underwater features for CoHV.

I wouldn't want any cross platform mmo,the rate of popularity with console based games rises and fall so fast.A MMO trying to establish itself for a long operation period imo is doomed with consoles.

Home spaces sounds useless and too much like Sims,I have an sg/vg with rooms.

Whips in GR,crossbows sounds sorta weak.I'd rather see different powersets get introduced than medievel weapons.

I don't think that stuff is the best we have asked for,I could think of alot of other requests that I have seen over the years that would be better.

Two things Sam either wait till BS comes over to villain side then make a BS/DA brute or make a BS/DA scrapper then have him go rogue once GR comes out.
