A fascinating read, interesting details about our new Lead and what areas of the game may be focused on in the future. Been playing for years now and even seen WW in person but didn't pick up on her being Canadian (probably coz we didn't talk), but you'd think I'd have heard of that.

I can back the idea of a War Witch TF, and in general, TF's that elevate some of the 2nd tier of contact/heroes/villians onto the main stage. It would be good to fill in some of the backstory of these characters to more fully flesh them out.

Haven't noticed it myself, but it's obvious that they're meant to be there but are doing the wrong emote, ie. defaulting to READY 0 instead of say, SITBENCH. I trust you've 'bugged' it in-game.

Im'ma eagerly waiting on the 1st Inaugural Praetorian Easter Egg Hunt! There's no way there aren't going to be some sweet eggs in that basket.

I like Dual Pistols. I am not a number-cruncher with my toons, so I come from the perspective of someone who wants a set to fufil the requirements of character concept and look good doing it. DP does this in spades. It looks fantastic, and not overly slow in my opinion, it does enough damage to kill / arrest stuff, and I can't get enough of the cool ways in which motion and animation blend into some really dramatic action scenes while in combat.

On a side note, why does the sets powers Detailed Info list damage bonuses as, "0.00%%" with duplicate percentage symbols?? Anyone?

Excellent to see that not only did I miss the earlier...unpleasantness...but also I come back to find more details of how things will work regarding email transfers. This does just get cooler. So now if I want to transfer Rare Costume Piece Recipes that would look superb on another of my toons (but silly on the one who found it), I CAN!

Neat info release! The new Dark Mirror enemy is what sparks my curiousity most, have to wait and see what that's all about, but the name is certainly interesting. Also really happy (being an SG of one) to see that I'll now be able to just email some cash from the rich K5K to my lesser toons who actually need the money. Brilliant.

And yes, I’m keeping it vague because it’ll be up to them to figure out what they are," I for one look forward to the 1st Praetorian Easter Egg Hunt!

Will there be more than Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning as new powersets? I suspect not, but would be amazed by the teams ability to keep lips zipped, if it turned out to be so. If Demon Summoning turns out as fun to play as Dual Pistols has been so far, and that's pretty durnt fun, then I'd probably be happy with any others they managed to slip into GR.

They put the commas in specifically to help us avoid this. Bummer!

Although an Oceanic rather than EU citizen I find myself in the same bind. I can download only. This applies to all parts of the world outside the US. It's a shame really as I was looking forward to getting a boxed set for whatever goodies it comes with and the updated disc for reinstall purposes.

This decision means that not only will I as a customer not get what I want from the company, but also the company misses out an opportunity to make more from my indivdual sale. Shipping from the US to individual customers internationally via NCSoft wasn't an option either. I would have thought there were a myriad of publishing models available in between this and a full global retail release, unfortunately the powers that be seem to have chosen the minimalist end of the spectrum.

The option for me seems like the GR Expansion downloaded digitally from NCSoft for $29.99 USD. I was considering getting the retail version of the Complete Collection so I would have discs, manuals, whatever else is in the box. Purchasing online from a third-party and having it shipped internationally is the only way to achieve this from what I've read. It's a shame retail is limited to the US.

It's good to see that now we're getting down to brass tacks people are appraising their purchases carefully.

Perhaps if you could give me some more details. Have you bought a boxed version of the game or have you downloaded it from the NCSoft online site? If you bought a boxed version then there could be quite a few updates for it to do after you've installed it.

Make sure you are using CoHUpdater.exe or CoVUpdater.exe to start the game, otherwise you might be using the installation file, which would, as you say, reinstall the game.

The Updater will check to see whether you've got the latest version of the game and download any patches required to get you up to speed. Is this what you mean by reinstall? If so, wait it out, don't believe the timer on it (it's not very accurate), leave it running and go to sleep. When it's done, you should be able to play.

@OP: A combination of more instanced teams, beta testing and the Valentines event / Spring Fling might lead to 'less' players being visible. Also of course, the time of day and day of week also affect numbers just as does the popularity of the server you're on. With the suggestions of trying more populated servers, starting your own teams, and going global chat channels you should find yourself never wanting for some buddies to go fight/create crime.

You need to cut and paste the Time command line to the bottom of your Base's code. You also need to be quite particular about spacing /line breaks after the Base command. It needs to be on the same line as the base code that follows, although with word wrap in Notepad this is sometimes tricky to achieve. I also have no idea how you managed to get the Dynlib lines for every base object to be in the wrong place, but you managed! I take it you're using some kind of demo-editor?
