NPCs standing IN the furniture
Haven't noticed it myself, but it's obvious that they're meant to be there but are doing the wrong emote, ie. defaulting to READY 0 instead of say, SITBENCH. I trust you've 'bugged' it in-game.
K5K - The Killbot 5000
A Spanner In The Works Part One, ArcID: 336662, A Spanner In The Works Part Two, ArcID: 336665, Enter Japes, ArcID: 96001
In The Darkness Creeping, ArcID: 347709, When Dimensions Collide, ArcID: 412416.
They are doing the wrong emote. I've noticed this a lot recently...
The "Take a pamphlet, yo" guy in Atlas Park was holding a suitcase instead of flyers.
The Natural Quartermaster was doing the BatSmash emote instead of holding the Arachnos Mace.
I'm wondering if it's at all connected to the current problem with the Rez animation not working correctly.

i think the fortune animation is overriding the rez animations that should play at same time
with this, most of the times the rez animation fails mostly due to having a fortune (from what i noticed), if i dont have a fortune, i will rez fine

First, I've died while solo and used either a Rez power and still had the animation fail. I certainly was not granted a [Mystic Fortune] buff from anybody. The [Rise of the Phoenix] rez power is the one I used. Note that other powers and Inspirations may use a different animation while Rezzing. The one I'm referring to is the one where the player floats up with the chest outward and arms spread.
Second, [Dark Extraction] used by a Warshade uses a dead enemy to summon a Nictus Essence. The Enemy targeted used to play the same Rez animation, and then fall back down to the ground when the Nictus came out. Sometimes, the foe fails to use the Rez animation too. It looks like it starts to move, but then plops to the ground again way before the Nictus ever appears. The enemy certainly did not have a [Mystic Fortune] buff.
Third, [Mystic Fortune] has been around a while now, and the Rez animation problem didn't start until just recently.
I'm not convinced that's the problem.. Here's why...
First, a [Mystic Fortune] buff instantly wears off when you die. There is no need for the animation to play when you Rez. Second, [Dark Extraction] used by a Warshade uses a dead enemy to summon a Nictus Essence. The Enemy targeted used to play the same Rez animation, and then fall back down to the ground when the Nictus came out. The foe no longer uses the Rez animation either. It looks like it starts to move, but then plops to the ground again way before the Nictus ever appears. Also, [Rise of the Phoenix] animation no longer plays that part of the Rez animation as well. |
and i dont assume thats the only issue, i know there are some powers that have altered or non-animating rezzes (poeple rezzed by howling twilight for example)
I don't remember the tooltip feature ever working like that at the Stores. I've been right-clicking > Info for a long time.

I think it broke around I14-ish.
As to the issue of the OP:
I rolled up a new corruptor last night and found that all of the police NPCs is Breakout were standing there merrily twirling their billy clubs and doing absolutely jack while I strolled out of prison. Even more jarring when you see a prisoner kneeling down and vigorously punching him in the shins. Methinks something broke when they sent Dual Pistols topside.
The Natural Quartermaster was doing the BatSmash emote instead of holding the Arachnos Mace.

And yes, the mouse-overs for Enhancements being removed sucks. Hard.
Meanwhile, back to the OT:
No, I haven't seen that specific bug with NPCs, but I have seen this one - Muggings are messed up. The villain will be doing the emote of tugging on the NPC's purse, but there is no purse, and the NPC will just stand there.

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:
I have noticed this recently in the AE building, PD, the University and so many other places. a lot of the local gentry are imbedded in the sofas and chairs instead of siting on them or standing away.
It's not a game-breaker, but it sure detracts from the 'feel' of the game. Has anyone else noticed how much this appears? As long as I am being vocal, I sure wish we could have our enhancement mouse-over descriptions back at the stores. That was sure handy. |

I bugged this NPC behavior in Closed DP Beta. I guess they haven't read the reports yet.
