  1. Hi guys, thank you all for your help so far. Ive played with my New/old ram sticks to no joy. I guess all this is most likely down to the memory leak that has been brought up.

I just got 2 more questions/options to ask.

    1. Is there any program out there that can test compatibility/problems with DDR 1 Memory, other than just shifting/swapping them all about.

    2. is there a program out there to determine what mother board i have? all i can find written on it is starboard, however ive tried google and found nothing of any help.

    Thanks again.
  2. Oh thought it hadnt let me do the coh helper.

  3. Thanks for the reply.

I will find my speakers tommorow to see if theres a sound loop, it tends to happen when i either click on something like the chat bar, click a power or sometimes if there are a lot of npc firing off powers.

Things I tried today. Tried the old graphic driver....still crashing.

played about with virtual ram. tried setting it to 2000mb initial and max. tried page file at 0. Tried it set to system picks. Same thing happened.

Tomorrow will try shuffling the DDR Cards about, even using the old 512 again (back down to 1.5g then). see if that helps at all.

Other than that i guess its just this leak. Which well if left unfixed will srsly hampen my ability to play at all atm.
  4. Doesnt have to be Official help. I have opened a ticket, however im not sure wether its because im a EU player or not but the response times are a tad to long. maybe i should send it by pidgeon?

But yes ive seen that part now. However i also saw Zloths stickied post and assumed it was ok to ask, just not to expect offical help from any of the CoX technical team. I guess either i read wrong or it can be misunderstood.
  5. Ok this time crashed in arena, as i was about to start typing in chat. It came up with the white box, the log file that came up gave this information....if it helps

  6. Hello people, the last couple of weeks (around i16/zombie event start) ive started crashing. The crash is normally followed by a white screen box asking about reporting, or it just boots back to desktop. At first i thought it maybe Ram issues as i only ran 1.5gig and had read something about a memory leak. I upgraded to 2 gig thinking it may remedy it. It didnt.
I play with sound off so dont know if theres loop, i can however find some speakers to test this if needed.

I tried running CoH helper, however it cant find the CoX registry, im assuming this is because my game file is called "city of heroes 2" as i had 2 version 1 for US acc, 1 for EU. I dont have the US one now.

I did however manage to run hijack this. Have absolutely no idea what it means, but here it is!

Srsly Snow, with a stance like that why bother playing a MMO? Outside of the SG/gobals there is little to No people avail to team with on EU servers, specifically Defiant. May as well be playing freedom force and saving your money.

Of course the euro servers aren't linked to the US ones AFAIK so the prices will differ a bit.
    Just to point out...

The EU and US server AH/BMs are linked. Likewise the AE.
  11. In reply to Donna.

Actually, you coming from Union should know that fiteclubz concern anyone who likes "OPEN" PVP. Fiteclubz destroy the zone and ultimately result in half the zone logging off in boredom.

Soon as the first retard BC's "hero/vill lf Duel meet on Trainstation" you can tell the zonal pvp is about to stop. As all the other sheep stop PVPing to go watch and take it in turns to take on the retard. Yelling at anyone intrupting.

People will then start logging off due to inactivity. Then the good "INTENDED" pvp that was happening will finish.

I salute the fiteclub police. Its about time they started patrolling Union RV.

I mean how frikin hard is it to type "/ac Lf Duel im a retard so no insp meet in PD" ?
  12. Every time I play my Night Widow a little bit of wee comes out.
  13. Will swap 1 x Crafted respec for 1 x Pigs wings
  14. I been messing around on mids and came up with a build that i think is softcapped to all. It has PB and Life Drain as its self heal. It has no PFF, im not sure it needs it. KB res it only has 8 however i reckon this is prolly enough.

It isnt softcapped to melee however it is capped to the types, and range/aoe. My thinking was that with FB i shouldnt need anything bar the ranged (when solo) yet teamed i can turn off FB and still be capped.

Basically is this overkill? does it gimp me in other ways?

The 2 missing IO slots are for a glad armour + 3 global def and a panacea +recov/HP proc.

  15. You wont be running away as you dont have superspeed. If someone tags you with a nade your gonna be wrecked time and time again, imo spec outta concealment and into the Speed Pool. If your intent on a phase power buy/get the temp ones.
  16. you do know the BM/AHs are cross server right? Even up to EU servers and US servers. The prices are the same wether your on Union or Freedom or even the moon.
  17. What you tipping your hat at boats/ships for??

    Anyways....Welcome to Union Section.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
In my opinion no MM will be good in zonal PvP. Too much time is spent setting up pets after death which get's very annoying, very quick

    [/ QUOTE ]

Rent, You do realize that MM Upgrades do all pets at once now, set up time is quite short. Now u can do it all in about 15 secs. Whilst this could still be annoying for some, its a far cry from the 60+ secs it used to take.

There main problem is mobility, to much mobility causes bad use of BG mode, not enuff causes people to just ignore you in zone. Also looking after pets around the NPC can also be issue.
  19. Id like to see the removal of the entire MA, im sick of all the whiners it produces and rubbish storys. The issue is epic fail tbh.
  20. The_JJ

    Just lol

so are u just using a small handful of blasters to tarnish the
    AT as a whole?

Domination can be built in about 5 secs, Use the +recov accolade and keep interuptin your snipe, Pop blues if you really in a hurry. Now as your using your snipe that can be quicker than most non-energy blasters get into blast range.

Personally if your looking at the ATs as whole, id say that Corrs are possibly better than Blasters. But as with most ATs a few combos stick out better than others.
  21. I can smell him whilst he still zoning from GV/Atlas.
