So, did the devs pull another bad move and give Heroes even more exclusive stuff? Really!? I hate you!

Quote:I'm never sent spam; I have no idea what you are talking about. And I can say you may not be a good player because you opt-out of the LFT tool.Totally false.
I hide. Tell me I'm not a good player.
Macros make things easier to send spam.
Nobody uses LFT flags. People use global channels.
Global channels are more reliable as they are community moderated. We keep our trash cleaned up. Our trash spams people who don't hide from search.
Plenty of people use LFT flags. They are simple to set and search for. As I said, I can put together SFs using just them. -
Quote:Totally false. Good players do not hide. Macros make things easier to send message those who are set to LFT. Global channels are unreliable as they are not as universal as /search is.The good players typically hide from searches, since there are a lot of idiots on both sides of the line who use macros/binds to send spam invites to anyone online.
We use global channels.
AKA, not everyone is in the same channel. -

Uhh:
1. Do not be drunk.
2. Do not queue attacks.
3. Be aware of your surroundings.
4. Optionally, have a speeder blow up mines in the periphery for saftey.
5. Move. -
I've never seen or heard of anyone charge for farms redside.
-
Sounds to me like you are just asking for a rightful nerf to Dr. K's rewards.
-
Quote:First two.Do you mean a character explicitly designed to farm, a character who could farm but you never do it, a character who can't farm even if they wanted to or what?
I have characters with strong AoE attacks and defenses who can easily run x8 maps but I never set out to design them for farming. I don't have any particular pride in this fact.
"a character explicitly designed to farm, a character who could farm but you never do it" -
Another reason why blue-side is largely a bunch of idiots. Good game.

Totally disagree. If you have trouble, why not suggest an improvement to the functionality of /search as my latest suggestion thread is about?
-
Totally disagree. Just improve the functionality of /search as shown in my latest thread.

I was expecting something a bit more lewd. Oh, well. I can always imagine what he has at home ;D .

/signed only if they increase global channel capacity.

:X I decline. Ratings are a bad idea because some sets are easily scapegoated when they are doing just fine. Hey, the stormie may be trying to cooperate with the tank and complement him, but the tank may be a stubborn git and not cooperate so everyone blames the stormie.

I propose a system to enhance /search's usefulness. As the system currently works, one can only broadcast themselves as the character they are logged in as. However, someone might be willing to play on a different toon they have that might be in an entirely different level range.
Ex. 1: A guy named Guy has a level 7 corrupter he does not want to level solo, nor does he feel like staying logged in as that character until he finds a team. Guy would rather spend time that could be put to productive use by doing some tips on his level 40 or 50 toon. Guy cannot let /search know that his level 7 corrupter is "LF Any" or "LF Missions" while he is on those toons though.
And now I get to the proposed solution. A player could be given the option to put several of his toons up in /search while logged in as he or she so chooses. Perhaps there would be a cap on how many could be broadcasted at once, say three toons. People looking for team members via /search would be able to see all the toons one was broadcasting via /search.
Ex. 2: Guy would like to do the WST on his level 50 toon, so he leaves his status on the level 50 to "LF Strike Force." Guy would like to do anything to level up his level 7 and 40 so he sets both their status to "LF Any." Guy does not want to broadcast his level 30's LFT status as that toon is just his bank / marketer.
Optionally, a system could be put in place that if one were to be invited to join a group as a different toon than that player is currently on, a camp-and-be-invited mechanic could be used should the player accept.
Ex. 3: Guy has just finished the WST on his 50 when he gets a tell from a lowbie team requesting his level 7 to join it. Guy accepts and the logout process starts. After 30 seconds, Guy is logged out and back onto his level 7 toon; automatically, he is placed into the team that invited him. -
I propose there should be a /rttl "reply to team leader" command that lets you talk to a team leader if someone else messages you. To make this more accessible, I propose this should be built into the default key combo of Shift + Backspace. It would use the name of the last person who sent you a tell as the argument so you would then talk to that person's team leader.
