But in my case, it isn't dressing up, it's dressing down. One of my characters is well-known for her Hami outfit.

Justice used to have the Sexy Hami Aggro teams in Pre-I9 raids, where the Aggro team wore bikinis, briefs, etc.

We've also had No Pants Hami raids run on No Pants Day, Green costume raids for St. Patrick's Day, and other similarly themed raids.

This is one of the things that has made it so difficult for them to track down the cause of the problem and find a fix.

It's very random, and even when it does happen it doesn't always happen after the exact same steps. When you can't reliably duplicate an issue, or sometimes even get it to occur at all, it's rather hard to find the cause and fix it.

Yes, it could matter. Some servers refuse to allow connections when the date and time are too far out of range. In most cases that I've seen it's an attempt at software piracy prevention, or at least an attempt to not allow counterfeit versions of software to be updated.

Since I've seen it occur using ASP and .Net both, and knowing that the Launcher uses .Net, it was a possibility.

Most of the other searches I find for that specific error message are issues dealing with WSUS, NDS, LDAP, Silverlight, BITS and MIME types, and even downloading and installing Resident Evil 5 of all things.

This may be something you need to contact Support about if no one can offer a quick solution. It's the first time I've seen this reported with this game.

No, that isn't what OV said at all. All that the post was doing is giving a bit more data (that with large league sizes the last few get kicked) and providing a temporary work-around for players until the Devs can find the cause of the problem and design a fix for it.

But then, OV doesn't seem to have some type of Vendetta going on.

Something else to consider. Some ISP's block other traffic on their networks. I can't do traceroutes, pathpings, or anything more than a simple ping for troubleshooting network issues. For me, everything past the public IP on the ISP's equipment is showing as Request timed out on a tracert and the pathping ends at that public IP as well.

This pretty much says it all. I've tested with both the 9500 GT and 8500 GT cards in XP systems at work and the 197.45 driver seems to run a bit smoother than anything I've tested in the 2xx.xx series.

It's basically a combination of the older card and older OS as well as the fact that most testing is done for DirectX graphics rather than OpenGL that CoH uses.

Update your video drivers. Using Windows XP and that video card, I recommend trying the 197.45 drivers instead of the more current 2xx.xx series of drivers.

Of course, you should follow proper video card driver uninstall/safe mode cleaning/install procedures using a program such as Driver Sweeper.
