    Ummm, no. Most of the PvPers are yet again facing the head-scratching ideas of the Devs.

    I, as well as many other PvP'ers that I've talked to, are lol'ing at this. What the Dev's think as a fix really just screws this game over more. People PvP'ing for shinies really won't want to PvP once they realize that the drop rate is about 1:1200 in a 10 minute match.

    I would much rather see them drop at the rate they were doing so before.

    Please don't put words into others mouths, especially when you have no idea what you are talking about.
  2. 3 Stalkers would also be annoying. Most people that would participate most likely know how to use their Stalkers, and it would be pretty stupid for 3 of them to come in, kill once, and then go afk for the rest of the match.

    No repeating ATs is probably better.

    I am not speaking for everyone, just me and my MMO friend. We both have gotten at least two 50's through PvE. We experienced it. And we're done. This may not be true for you (and that is completely fine, I see nothing wrong with that) but for me and my friend, we're pretty much done with the PvE game. We find no joy defeating the same things over and over, no joy experiencing the same maps at which point we have memorized almost 50 down to the boss spawn point, no joy using the same powersets. However, we are happy (very happy when it was pre-i13) with PvP. That is the one thing that brings us back to playing this game.

    We tried WoW once the Devs of this game decided to screw over the customers by introducing i13 and completely ignoring the multiple requests, suggestions, and hints that were given, per request of the devs, towards PvP. We liked it for awhile, but once we had done about 50 levels on one toon, we got bored.

    PvE is not our cup of tea, but PvP is. And if the Devs create a way for us to make it to 50 in 10 hours, we will most likely use it.

    Why the Devs banned multiple people just because they leveled "too fast" is beyond me. As long as they are paying, what is wrong with getting to 50 in 8 hours, unless they are hurting someone else? They were actually HELPING this game: they were promoting PvP, helping others come into Test PvP, and encouraging those already in it to continue.

    I will say, on the defense of some, that AE farming is hurting this game by allowing players to level up without knowing what the game is, but for those that have 30+ 50's and have played the game for 40 months, I don't know why it is wrong.

  5. No, they were fixed, but now you can only get them once every five minutes, if you haven't killed them or they haven't killed you. So you probably have a 1:1200 chance of getting one in a 10 minute match. GG devs

    Incinerate, Dominate, and Blaze are getting Gladiator's Strike, Gladiator's Net, and Gladiator's Javelin, respectively (why they are slotted). I'm not sure about two slots in Hurdle, but other than that, I think this is what I'm going for.

    While I'm good at this, I will say that I'm definitely not the best at the PvP aspect of this game, especially compared to before I left, so if anyone has any input, please comment.

    Sharks should not crit.... they are over powered for a PPP attack... when you count in the crit...

    Stalkers are one of the easiest archetypes to play... there is a small learning curve... not as easy as it seems... but with stealth and the IO.... its pretty damn easy...

    Bolded for an amazing point. Devs, no matter what happens in this game, people will always farm. There will always be an FotM, there will always be the better mission, there will always be the better something so long as this game exists. By trying to reduce the farming, you are only creating trouble and discouraging PvP even more than you already have. This game does not need any more inflation that it already has to encounter. Please reconsider.

    Because this would be admitting that people would rather PvP in i12 than in the crap they gave us. While most people who that issue was intended for think that it's even harder now (and that's completely understandable), the Devs still say they are happy with the way PvP is and won't change it. Honestly, I don't understand it--I think they should just admit they made a mistake and revoke the entire thing.

    I have Tactics, and with Telekinesis being an auto-hold, any toggle debuff that can affect it will be taken off. If you thought I would have Phase, would Hibernate vs. PR make any difference?

    I was looking at a couple of Dom's in Pocket D today, and all of them didn't have Incinerate, but took Blazing Bolt. I would have taken Incinerate, but I thought I may have missed something.

    Also...Hibernate or Poisonous Ray?
  17. What do you consider a worthwhile flip? As in, for one recipe flipped, how much profit is considered worthwhile? 1 mil? 10? 50?

    Just a noob starting to do this wondering. I've been doing about 25 mil per enhancement, selling one or two a day.

    Incinerate does good damage, can be slotted with a PvP set, is melee, and is DoT.

    Blazing Bolt does good damage, can be slotted with a Snipe set, obviously has good range, and has an interrupt time.

    Which would be better for Duels/2v2's/4v4's?

    If people call themselves something it must be true. The ONLY AT capable of seeing a stalker beyond 10ft are VEAT's. Sure some builds are effective at destealthing stalkers by using the distance render glitch and then zipping over to where they are, but that only works on semi-afk stalkers.

    If a stalker sets out with a goal of having a x:0 kill/death ratio it is entirely possible to achieve. Stalkers only die if/when they get careless.

    I'm not saying getting careless is always negative, it is usually quite fun, but that doesn't change the facts.

    You're an idiot. Saying Frosticus is bad is probably showing your experience 1) on these boards, and 2) in PvP, is near zero.

    I would say Frosticus is completely correct. Today, in the four hours I PvP'ed, I died a total of twice on my Stalker. Once because I just came back to the game a week ago and forgot that I had Hibernate, and the last because I didn't really care if I died, 'cause someone was pissing me off, and I wanted to kill them (which I did, just btw).

    How you can die on a Stalker, unless you don't really care (as mentioned above, and is perfectly fine) is beyond me. There are so many ways to not die, accolades and 1500 hp is one, the others include Phase, Hibernate, Heals, insps (unless you think that's cheating...lol) teamates, etc.

    Inspector 6, on his Stalker, went from 1-400 rep without dying once. While he was a skilled player, he said that it was almost too easy. So how you're complaining about how vulnerable this toon is makes me laugh.

    I do have to end that today, during my hours of PvP, I died twice, probably getting 100 kills. Srsly, the AT isn't that hard to survive on. Getting kills, setting up AS against competent players, etc, is harder. Surviving on them when they have so many tools? Not really.

    Well, is this surprising? The Devs obviously can't have actual PvP...that would go against what they have been working for for so long. First they introduce loli13, then they ban the only Test SG left, and now they are going against the last group of remaining PvPers: those who PvP in the zones.

    Obviously Freedom would be the first, as it has been labeled the PvP server.

    I'm definitely noticing the Dominator Hibernate not showing up graphically--could this actually be a bug? I have been noticing it for awhile, when I'm playing a Dom, and when I'm attacking the Dom. I never really thought anything of it and just attributed it to lag, but now that I think about it, it has usually been Dominators (maybe every time?) where the actual toon goes into Hibernate with the stance, but the block of ice rarely shows up until a couple seconds after, or even at all.
