Here is a pic of UJL in an official match.

While I cant currently view the picture, I'll assume your provided picture does not have a spread of 20+ points or more in an official right? Why are you loading ammo into my argument? lol

I win--omg what' my prize? Also lol@u for "not being able to view the picture." suuuurrreeeee -
Is this like, a Test Team? Do we have a GP? omg are we gonna practice?
Also, I think we need to challenge the Disciples of Anarchy--they have already called us out. I would enjoy beating them without ever having practiced--now to just find my mic hidden in the basement somewhere.
Also, I call offense! -

I think after playing for 4+ years my vet reward should be ... an auto level 50 toon.

It would be awesome if you selected the auto level 50 toon then the next day, it gets tagged for deletion and you get a 3 day temp ban.

1) Anything above 10 kills in that era of PvP is laughable. I mean, you said yourself, 6-3, 5-2 were scores of matches in this time. Matches rarely went above 8, and when you're getting above 10 all the way to 14, that's pretty close to 20 if you compared it to the PvP before the scores went so low.
2) Please stop talking. While Black Barrier may have talked a lot, he was probably the ONLY decent PvPer that I recall. Other than that, it was pretty much lolUJL.
[ QUOTE ]
If you want to talk old pvp, it's no contest. DLvLne stalked for VORI/GMW and Void stalked for VORI. You played for the group led by some asian girl and her terrorist boyfriend.

I lol'ed. Btw, it was so long ago, and I never really payed attention to UJL, but who were the leaders? Shini? -

Too lazy to post in the right forum too.

No, this is the right forum. While we are doing as much Arena as possible, I mean, it's still the Arena where only 8 other people go. Besides, I always think of the PvP Arena section as "Test PvP" anyway.
Also, is Toxic Glacier Tox (just to make sure, never heard him called that) and Sneaky's back!? Or am I just slow and learned he was back months late, like normal? -
Sorry, it was actually a Dam/End/Rech. Good luck on your search though
-
jk.
Guess I'll post it tonight on the market if I have one =p -
I actually might have one. I'll check tonight.
If it's easier (and saves the inf) which server are you on? -
[ QUOTE ]
Mine does alright in RV. Ranged build, with Shatter for a kiteable melee attack. Nothing special, just make sure you get the stealth IO. Banes have the highest stealth cap after stalkers.
Pretty much no defense though, so be prepared to get hit quite a bit. Good news is that with 2 Tactics, you can pretty much see everybody and hit pretty much anything.
[/ QUOTE ]
VEATs are also the only AT's that can see a Stalker from more than 10 ft away.
However, Banes and Fortunata's were hit pretty hard, and are no where near as good as they were during i12 and before. -
I actually changed my build a little, and this is what I came up with.

I dropped Blazing Bolt for Confuse, however, I think the choice between Blazing Bolt and Incinerate is a personal one. I know I will use Incinerate much more, and I love getting the kill when someone is in Hibernate ;p.
It's really up to you, I jump around so much that I know hitting Incinerate every 20 seconds won't be that bad, and I know that Blazing Bolt, especially in the Office or some other closed map would be too annoying for me to even use, especially now that you no longer need Domination to be as effective.
Also, as to slotting for +regen, I find that between Duels and the random Team Duels that happen on Freedom with Heal Decay off, I won't care about not being able to heal as fast--in fact, I don't think regen would help much in Zones because of the 10v1 situation that usually happens, but that's just me. That is also another personal decision--I don't know where you could get the slots for Health, but if you can, more power to you. -
Ok just have to say before you see the build--this is probably one of the most difficult toons I have ever tried to build. Also--do set bonuses carry over into Forms? I know Fitness/accolades don't, but do set bonuses?

I bought about 6 PO's for somewhere around 5-10 mil each, and just checked them about 30 minutes ago. All of them were going for 80-100 mil. I also found out that the Glad Armor proc I had drop for me is going for 700 mil right now--hoping it hits 1 bil and I'll finish my Dom =p
[/ QUOTE ]
/em soapbox
a Proc is an IO that has an effect that executes every N time period or has a chance to execute every N. A global effect is always on as long as you have the set bonus. The gladiator's armor global is not a proc.
Thank you.

I also think another good idea is to not only have a chance for a recipe every rep kill, but also to be able to turn in rep for a random roll. Maybe 25 for an uncommon (if we're going with the above), 50 for a rare.
They would have to find some merit system to work with the Arena, but I think it would be good. -
I think that if Silit goes into this srsbsns and not LOL LET'S GRIEF EVERYONE, then it will be as good as anyone else's. However, that means that we have to make sure he IS gonna do srsbsns =p

An observation, if I may.
People noted that PvP rewards seemed to have stopped dropping almost as soon as I15 came out. Here's the thing, though - they were dropping during open beta on the test server (I'd know, as I got a Panacea proc as a drop during an 8v8). Remember that tiny little patch two or three days before I15 went live? That was the only patch between when I got my drop and when the issue went live - the fact that PvP rewards weren't happening was not a bug, but a deliberate code change in that patch.
I don't even remember there being patch notes for that patch (which was something like 7MB if I recall).
[/ QUOTE ]
I figured something like that. It was especially blatantly obvious when the PO's suddenly became bugged, and then when it was fixed, the system had changed. -
I just like the idea of Warburg, but Heroes would actually be able to team with Villains, like they should have been able to.
-
[ QUOTE ]
The current changes seem designed to make anyone who hasn't got PVP 4 LYFE tattooed on their bicep give up before they even start.

lol. This is like, sig-worthy. Not just for the PO drop changes, but also for i13-15 changes. -

If you're so deadset that people should earn their own kills and not be KS'd then take your silly [censored] to the arena where no scary stalkers can KS you. Otherwise quit crying and realize that we don't care about your Moral Dilemma.
[/ QUOTE ]
I actually do take it to arena every chance I get, which unfortunately isn't often these days. And this has nothing to do with any moral dilema. It has to do with what is good for PvP as a whole. Teaming=good. Solo=bad. It's that simple. It's because of the anti-teaming Dbag gonnadomyownthing attitude that you have mastered that PvP has become the crapfest we know today. Thanks.
But honestly, I'm glad there are so many skilless bottom feeders like you playing Stalkers. I really am. If more people played Stalkers with actual skill the devs would nerf them into complete uselessness the way they did Widows. So you just keep going out there fighting the bad fight and being bad, baddo.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just one thing to say:
KS'ing is a part of this game. Get over it and get over yourself. Not just Stalkers KS. Doms, Blasters, Scrappers, Tanks, Corruptor's, and just about everyone else, KS'es at some point.
So again, get over it and get over yourself. -

These guys *want* uber rare PvP IOs so they are never finished tweaking their builds.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ummm, no. Most of the PvPers are yet again facing the head-scratching ideas of the Devs.
I, as well as many other PvP'ers that I've talked to, are lol'ing at this. What the Dev's think as a fix really just screws this game over more. People PvP'ing for shinies really won't want to PvP once they realize that the drop rate is about 1:1200 in a 10 minute match.
I would much rather see them drop at the rate they were doing so before.
Please don't put words into others mouths, especially when you have no idea what you are talking about.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry, I said "want" when I should have said "need". The PvPers need a miniscule drop rate so that when they get a PvP IO it is an exciting event.
[/ QUOTE ]
When they dropped before, it was an exciting event. Now, they will barely drop and will be priced for about the same price as purples--the 3% defense will actually be priced at about 1 billion for one enhancement. Woohoo. -
That toon still doesn't have Confuse, btw, so I'm not sure what I'm doing to get it. I have to do some testing and stuff, but you'll definitely want Confuse in there.
-
[ QUOTE ]
One reason they will not do an I12 zone is because it would quickly become more poplular than the post I13 pvp zones. Thereby they would be forced to realize the utter failure they passed off as an improvement.
