This just adds more of a plus to Fire Control. I like how when I was flailing around about how awesome this will be in Bonfire months before everyone ignored me...now they're all shocked and want it n their build...just how many of you have me on ignore?! lmao

Well...ugh...really? Well *whew* I have to get back to you lol.

Happy Birthday Felicia Day!
OH and I loved the vid...even though i can't stand country...I love bluegrass though. -
I would guess that the Overwhelming Force Proc would be a nice addition to chain fences. Your foes would be KB'ing all over the place.

Actually, I'm not he's horrible...even though the Boat SNL skit was pretty epic.

Yes guys FOR STATESMANS SAKE grab inspirations or let other grab inspirations before you go to the Amphitheater. lol
I actually like how tough it is my Support toons actually feel useful more than ever. I had one team that kept going into scrapperlock until they realized that I could keep them alive...after that they started to use taunt often to keep the heat off of me.
Oh and my Elec/Earth Dom ROCKED the trial pun intended. I think it had a lot to do with the FF procs but I was confusing and draining AVs with ease so have at it Elec control users! -

Quote:I've been trying to score another one so I can test it out in regular powers...I will keep you posted but it does work in Bonfire properly.Okay, something's up with the proc.
I've been using it in my weakest single-target attack in 4-man spawn Council missions so I have lots of opportunities to get the proc to work. Not only does it not "feel" as if it's triggering 20% of the time, but when it has gone off, the mob affected did NOT get knocked down. The explosion VFX played, but the mob just stayed upright. And I've been doing the majority of my testing against Council minions who do not have KB resistance. Gonna fire off a PM to Arbiter Hawk and continue to test this.
Quote:I don't think I saw anybody suggesting it in this thread, but if you do get the "no-tp" bug in the casino heist and have the self destruct power, you can use it to kill yourself and get back to the lobby, when you take the door to the movie, you'll be sent back to the warehouse.
Granted, you must have the power and not have it on cooldown, but it can help to save a run if enough people can do it. -
I wish you could put it in the Lightning storm as well...but LS isn't that bad if you fly up to cast it.
EDIT: Also you can't convert the Overwhelming Force IO currently. -
I'm a big boy. I read the last post and remained mature...go me!

guys he's totally Trollin'. >_>

Quote:Really? Gametrailers is huge...I'm impressed that you haven't heard of them...they've been out for a while now.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexa_Internet
All the data in the world, skewed or not, isn't going to change the fact that I've never heard of them before today -
I blame War Witch for this! Shame on you for doing such a great Job! She is in charge of marketing now right? >_>
Also, the vid was perfect except...well the voice did sound a bit cheesy at time but it was nice! -
Quote:Well it still is Derp compared to the other sets control wise. Not sure what the dev's stance will be on this. A while ago Bonfire was made to Knockback outside purple patch rules because people were using it against purples where it became Knockdown.
So I wouldn't be surprised devs made specific exceptions down the road.
Then again, that was with a different set of devs.
We will see...it doesn't make the power OP but it adds a entirely new feel to it altogether.
Quote:I wouldn't either. That's the risk you take when you take advantage of edge cases though. Love it while you can; don't be surprised if it gets taken away.
Quote:This.......hadn't occurred to me.
My Fire/Kin Controller will be running that dealy as soon as I get a chance.
My Claws/Regen's Shockwave will receive it.
I might actually roll a few characters that I've been wanting to where the KB was a deterrent.
I have been asking for someone to test this IO in Bonfire on BETA for quite some time now since I kept getting every IO but the KD one...here's the proof of it's awesomeness...
Here's how the power behaves with the IO in it...
It behaves just like Ice slick except it deals damage.
If you use this power solo it becomes great for slow and gradual damage as well as decent control.
Just like Ice Slick though one must make sure NOT to immob while it's doing it's thing so pretty much on teams you should just forget about casting it unless you are using it for temporary control only. -
Hey Evil Geko asked for it lol. We all know that this is a test/experiment of some sorts.
I wished that all KB powers had a KB or KD option. That way I could KB solo and KD while on teams...but that's not possible so I will just have to settle with this IO. -
Quote:You might have to wait until someone non biased comes along...I can' stand /Elec after they made the changes.Any advice for a stalled out Plant/Electric Dom? I'm trying to push her to 22, but I just can't seem to get into the chick. She's 19 iirc right now. Any suggested power picks or skips from the two sets early on? I want to love her because I really like her concept, but I'm failing hard.

Quote:Risking it would not be a wise choice. I've seen plenty of great cartoons and anime risk it to only have themselves canceled within the first season leaving you always wondering. Yes, The avatar series is very popular but one must always be cautious.I was aware of that though I have no understanding of Nick's logic for only signing one season initially. Regardless, it doesn't excuse the problems the series had. There just wasn't enough time for some of the world building stuff they chose to explore. A lot of the pro-bending stuff could have been cut to make way for plot development; I say that even though I found it pretty entertaining, but it felt like time ill-spent.
It's somewhat akin to giving someone a sheet of paper and asking them to draw a portrait. They hand it back after drawing an eye, a nose, and a bit of the mouth that fills the page. When asked why they didn't draw the whole thing, their reason is that the paper was too small. Korra's story was just too grand in scale for what could have been a 13 episode run. They either should have scaled it back or risked only telling the first act in hopes that Nick would re-up for the rest.
I definitely agree that they could of cut back the pro-bending a bit though, giving them an extra 2 or 3 weeks of room.
I think that it did very well and I think that some fans are being a little to harsh to the series...yes it had it faults and yes it has some plot holes and loose ends but it was still very much enjoyable. It's going to take a lot for a show that only runs for one series to equal up to the first avatar series...and Avatar in itself is on a higher level than most cartoons and anime, even at it's worst it still surpasses most of its competition.
I would rate the LoK series as it stands now a 7-8...compared to the previous series. I think That the original Avatar should get a 9.9 rating wise.
I hope that they learn from their mistakes though and Iroh things out *snort**wheeze*. I felt that the first avatar ending wise was rushed as well...and FOR GODS sake what is wrong with Nick?! Do they not realize the value of the Gem that they have in their hands? They should of given the Avatar creators all the time in the world! I doubt that Nick has a show in their line up that even comes close to the popularity of the Avatar series. -
