And Lordy that just makes Storm/H2O a really insane combo.
It's unique (so only 1 per build), and only can be slotted in powers that take damage enhancements, though.

Toe bombers should be happy too... This could be insidiously good for my new project, a Traps/Dark defender. Place the kdown enh into trip mine on an already all stunned and immobed group go boom, then boom again with time bomb or blackstar (all enhanced with soul drain, of course).

It's too bad that it's unique. Hurricane would also be a decent place to put it, as that would make it act more predictably.
.This has nothing to do with Defenders because defenders are perfect.... but..
...This gives me a reason to play my Robot/Storm mastermind now.

So I wouldn't be surprised devs made specific exceptions down the road.
Then again, that was with a different set of devs.
My Fire/Kin Controller will be running that dealy as soon as I get a chance.
My Claws/Regen's Shockwave will receive it.
I might actually roll a few characters that I've been wanting to where the KB was a deterrent.

I know it's a pipe dream, but I really hope they just let it be on Bonfire. My Blaster and Troller want some more AoE soft-control/damage
It probably sounds lame but im just waiting to put one in my assult rifle's snipe so i can pull one guy without knocking him into next thursday and bringing the whole mob crashing down around my ears.
Not sure what the dev's stance will be on this. A while ago Bonfire was made to Knockback outside purple patch rules because people were using it against purples where it became Knockdown.

We will see...it doesn't make the power OP but it adds a entirely new feel to it altogether.
I wouldn't either. That's the risk you take when you take advantage of edge cases though. Love it while you can; don't be surprised if it gets taken away.

I have been asking for someone to test this IO in Bonfire on BETA for quite some time now since I kept getting every IO but the KD one...here's the proof of it's awesomeness...
Here's how the power behaves with the IO in it...
It behaves just like Ice slick except it deals damage.
If you use this power solo it becomes great for slow and gradual damage as well as decent control.
Just like Ice Slick though one must make sure NOT to immob while it's doing it's thing so pretty much on teams you should just forget about casting it unless you are using it for temporary control only.
You know that upcoming knockback to knockdown enhancement? Put it in tornado.

I think it does change some powers from oppurtunistic powers to every mob powers but none that would make them significantly overpowered game changing powers.
