  1. In short, you get it at lvl 18 as your 3rd soldier.

    Thats completely rubbish!!!!

What is the point of the power then? Smoke grenade from the Devices set is better than that.

EDIT: Hero Builder says -20% Acc so where did you get the 5% number from, also where did they get the 20% from.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't forget flash arrow does debuff perception and NPCs won't attack til they're attacked. So it's not all bad.

    Fun at last!

Wow, at least someone is enjoying issue 7.
  4. Stamina helps alot with poison. since alkaloid seems to use decent amount of endurance. That combined with leadership+travel power will use up ALOT of endurance, so if you can, stamina would be a good option.
  5. Not really sure how ot motivate you. I never really liked AR, but it's very good as a utility pwoer set. Team alot more, coz u can play the role of blocking off doors with ignite, soften up ur targets and use kinetics to buff your team mates.
  6. basically what tufty said. Dark blast in my opinion is nothing special, and I heard that dark blasts will have thier acc debuffs taken away.

Dark miasma on the other hand is one of the best powersets in the game for buffs/debuffs.

    My first COH vid

Damn, patience is something I don't have, and I'm not paying for a website i don't know about. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky.

    My first COH vid

errrrmmmm, it's not doing it, I click free and it brings me to this page where it asks be to buy a rapidshare thing to boost download, what should I do?
  9. [ QUOTE ]
See I would do that but as far as I know you only get 4 powerpools you can tap into, unless I'm mistaken which would be lovely, and I've already got:

    1. Fighting
    2. Fitness
    3. Speed
    4. Medicine

I know people will say Medicine is overkill, but with the upcoming recluse TF I'd rather have overkill on damage mitigation than too little.

And I am taking health. Remember this is a post 38 respec, and I'm getting it at 47.

And Weave might be "teh crap", as you put it, but it is 5% more defense. Coupled with granite this puts me at about 29% defense, and it gives me a higher chance of getting Aid Self off when needed. Defense will also be far more effective in I7 and between Granite and Weave I'll be as defensive as an SR scrapper who takes all their secondary powers.

Not really willing to compromise on my defenses, I'm building this character to be invulnerable. If I could've I would have even taken CJ for another 3% defense.

Really I'm happy for the comments on my build but as it stands I'm pretty much satisfied with it. I just need to know if it's at all viable to get away with not taking TP. To get TP I would have to drop my entire speed pool (and lose Hasten and perma Earth's Embrace, ick) and take TP and TP friend or foe instead.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As the others said, there is not much point in hurdle. If you are using granite armor and rooted most ofg the time then there is no point in hurdle, since you can#t jump in that form, so just stick with swift.

    Uber damage

    [ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure I hit maximum....I did use about a tray of reds (oh and 2 accs)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Did you slot your attacks with damage SOs, that counta too.
  11. yeah, could you edit it and arrange it co I could read it easily next time?
  12. wow, I have good taste, thank you for all your opinions guys, I'm sticking with it, I'll post my build later on.
  13. Hi all, jsut wondering I enroled a scrapper the other day and I picked claws and regeneration for the starting power pools, but I wanted you opinions first before actually making an effort on this character. So what do you; "the people" think of claws and regeneration?
  14. FYI I know what cerberus was, and a 3 headed dog that guarded the dead seemed to fit in a demon power set. I know what ur saying and ur right. But I didn't jsut want to have a boring old fiery behemoth looking demon, and cerberus seemed to fit in quite nicely*apart form the fiery pwoers, lol) but what do you think of the pwoers, statistics etc.
  15. this is my first attempt at making a demonology power pool, I'm a newbie and I'm not all that creative, so here it is:

Flares: You hurl small flares towards your enemy in an attempt to damage them.Damage:minor(fire) Recharge:Very Fast

Cultists: You summon demonic cultists to your side, cultists are people who lost thier way in life and when they died, they went to hell and somehow managed to earn into the ranks of the armies of hell. You may have only 3 cultists by your side at any given time. Recharge: Very Long

    Cultists attacks: Brawl, Flares
    Tier 1 upgrade: Fire Blast,
Tier 2 upgrade: Tenebrous tentacles, Life Drain

Fire Blast: You blast your enemy with a fiery blast in an attempt to damage then. Damage:Moderate(fire) Recharge: Moderate

Demonic fire: You perform a dreaded demonic ritual on a henchman in order to awaken his inner fire, this upgrade often grants demonic henchman fire powers. You may only upgrade each henchman once with this pwoer. Recharge: Moderate

    Cultist: Fire Blast
    Forsaken: Fire Ball, Combustion
    Cerberus: Blaze, Rage

Fire Ball: You throw a large fire ball at your enemies in an attempt to burn all enemies around your target. Damage: Minor AoE(fire) Recharge: Slow

Summon forsaken: You summon the forsaken to help you, the forsaken are cultists who have sacrafices themselves in order to evolve into live demons, you may only have 2 forsaken by your side at any given time. Recharge: very Long

Forsaken attacks: Flares, Swipe, Fire blast
tier 1 upgrade: Fire ball, Combution
tier 2 upgrade: Dark Embrace, Petrifying gaze

Hell's blessing: You wrap yourself in hell's fire in an attempt to protect yourself, you become invulnerable to all attacks and also absorb fire attacks, but it also prevents you from attacking anybody, you must also sacrafice one of your henchman to use this power. Recharge: Slow

Summon cerberus: You have become so powerful through your demonology that you have been given the pwoer to summon the mythical cerberus. Cerberus is a demonic hound, he is bigger than your average human and will only obey the wishes of his master. You may only have 1 cerberus under your command at any given time. Recharge: Very long

Cerbreus attacks: Bite, Fire Ball, Breath of fire, Blazing aura
    tier 1 upgrade: Blaze, Rage
tier 2 upgrade: Fearsome stare, Petrifying gaze

Demonic darkness: You perform an unholy ritual upon one of your henchman in order to unleash his inner darkness, this often grants your henchman dark powers, you may only upgrade each henchman once. Recharge: Long

    Cultist: Tenebrous tentacles, Life Drain
    Forsaken: Dark Embrace, Petrifying Gaze
    Cerberus: Fearsome stare, Petrifying gaze

I know the cultists may seem overpowered with tenebrous tentacles, but that's all I could think of, your comments are appreciated, thank you.

NOTE: I made this power pool up in like, 10 minutes, so don't be expecting the best of the best.

    Thugs/*

    [ QUOTE ]
As I already have a /Dark, and don't really like many of the other secondaries, if I do another MM I'd probably go Thugs/Poison. The L38 /Poison power looks like it would be quite tasty on the 3rd tier "bruiser" melee pet, and the poison heal should be handy as he won't be near the 5 ranged pets (though the /Dark heal should work great for the ranged pets, as it does with Robots if you keep them together, and probably Mercs too).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Noxious gas(lvl 38 posion power) is a bit crappy for a lvl 38 power, a waste of a pet, doesn't last long and has a murderous recharge on it, avoid it.

And as for my choice of secondary, I'd go for dark. You can get a maximum of 17 pets *drools*
  17. [ QUOTE ]
The problem is the same as the one we have in PvE - no status protection! You get held/stunned/slept half the time. I think PBs have to focus on short bursts of action. Try conserve energy, hasten and your attacks slotted with a recharge. The damage is pretty impressive and your heals are up pretty quick too. You'll need a breakfree or two, someone with CM or lightform at higher levels to make it work but you should be able to take on anyone. For a minute or two at least.

Don't dismiss nova or dwarf either. Nova can be used to hunt down a runner on low health and dwarf is perfect for a big heal and the ability to tp away when things get bad. I used to annoy loads of people doing that.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I agree, it's very annoying when u get a ganking stalker down to low health when he tried to AS you, then he has to run away or use placate. nova good for chasing and damage dealing then u can shift into dwarf to finish em while they're down. I'm no expert on pb's and hope to get one soon but I just like to give my opinion. PS. I love knockback, perfect in pvp.

    Mercenaries

I have a level 21 merc/poison MM on union, pretty cool, only retired him because I am no god with MMs from lvl 20-30.
  19. hmmm, well I'd rather get confuse at an eariler stagem and why did you get swift, hurdle and stamina and not swift, health stamina. Domniators are fairly squishy and need at least a little health boost.
  20. wow, that sucks.

*smashes CoV case and focuses on CoH from now on*

I'm making a blaster now guys, I want a khieldan so badly. I got an nrg/nrg blaster up to 17 so far.
  21. I'd say a khieldan archetype is a blapper/blaster/tanker all rolled into 1 with inherent travel power and a kickass look. Also, it's a challenge avoiding quantum guys.

To sum it up, Crey is working on an armor wich is a rip off of Black Scorpion's Armor. The conceptor of Black Scorpion armor himself (we learn that it is not Black Scorpion who created the armor) is working for crey but is switching side and ally himself with Malta. Your new patron is not happy at all and things are going to heat up.

[/ QUOTE ]Actually, we've always known he stole the armor

    [/ QUOTE ]

Indeed, he was jsut a merc that forced some guy to build him the armor, then he killed that guy and has been adding upgrades to that armor ever since.
  23. Tac_Ops_Wolf

    ghost summoning

don't zombies jsut break up into nothing when you dismiss them?
  24. how about having only 1 type of attacks just shadow blasts and not fire and shadow blasts put together, makes it too confusing.
  25. Hello to all in union.
