It has been said on the US Test Forums that once you hit 50 you get the message saying Epic Archetypes unlocked but no Red Names have confirmed if you can, At least not to my knowledge.

i have heard this as well, but heard it the other way round. if u had a lvl 50 hero you could unlock the villain epics. not sure how true this is.

100% not true. i read that there will be no more epics unlocked by hitting lvl50. there will be some other (yet unknown) way to unlock future epic archtypes.

Not to mention that there are no villain epics yet.

I have heard that getting to 50 in CoV will unlock warshades but you will have to go on a srike force/trial to get them.

I dont think thats the question he asked, he asked whether having a 50 Villain will unlock the CoH EPIC's, as others have said...

AFAIK .. incorrect.. nothing more than a dirty rumor
I hope you can unlock the CoH kheldians by getting a villan to 50.....I mean the probable will, think of the complaints from people like me, and it does say when you move mouse over locked pb or ws archtype choice 'get a character to level 50' not just a hero
Not sure that means much. Didn't it say for ages when you got a Kheld to 50 that you could now unlock epic AT's (I wasn't paying attention when I did it recently to see if it still does)? It was just something they didn't bother to fix.
Plus if the new CoV epics (when they come out) are not unlocked by getting to 50 and need some sort of sf or something, then that wouldn't be very fair on CoH players...

And.. how wud sumone with just CoV access Kheldians.. 
as they seem to be tied directly to CoH.
As for hovering over the two bottom bars.. id say keep in mind the HUD n CoV, is just a refit of CoH, and they're there for, simply becaose of it, and no doubt will be changed once we get epics -- as rumor as it there are THREE epics for CoV (in total -- but again.. a rumor)
But no.. imho it wudnt be fair at all, Kheldians are HERO EPICS .. no VILLIAN EPICS.. Villians have they're own soon, we have ours.. wait ur turn like we all had to.

I thought States released a statement a while back saying there are three new epics sets coming out. 2 for CoV and 1 for both Coh & CoV.
