  1. If you are 50 already i would suggest running it through the pillar to skip some missions and you both will receive merits.

I have tried a little with my DB stalker and this is what i noticed:
Power up is the only combo you have time to fire off and taht is if you can AS.
1k cuts and Vengeful does damage with procs but with not much return.

I read about a DB stalker who did power up, shark with some success but havent tried it myself.
  3. It gets better once you have tough/weave.
Burst still hurts but between insps and SoW you should be safe.
  4. Let see if this works better so i dont have to posted hundreds of thumbs.

    The Final Hour vs Eochai
No temps, 1 large green 1 small orange.

I probably didnt have to use the insps but i had them in my tray so why risk having to do it all again.
My main issue was eochai running too far and jumping up the trees. Other than that it went really well
So i finally got my first GM

    The whole fight:

I did try to do both jack and eo after that but it felt more like i was duoing with eo to take down jack so i quit half way.

EDIT:will try to clean up the first page next week
  5. I have issues sometimes with dbserver. REstarting the client or computer helps.

    +stealth pools

Union and Defiant. I took my bids down though since i can spend that inf on other stuff.

and i´m pretty much looking for 25 and below
  8. TRTerror

    -Regen

LS was so badass when it inherited recharge bonuses.

    +stealth pools

Yeah but i´m pretty desperate leaving bids for 50 mill+ in various ranges and get nothing.

Last one i got i had to pillage merits from one of my merit hoarders to get.

250 merits hurts when you could get so much profit fromn it buying other stuff.

Anyway i´ll see if i have any 22+ toons that do enough tickets per hour so i can stockpile.

Based on Lumi's numbers above, it seemed reasonable.)

The way to determine it is to figure out the effective DPS of the -Regen effect on your target, and then figure out what your damage multiplier for -DR can be. The latter is pretty easy for most of the major -DR effects, but Sonic Attack gets kind of interesting. Anyway, when your base DPS times the -DR multiplier meets the effective DPS of your -Regen, that's the turning point.

If you have Scrappers that can hit 150 DPS, with two or three such Scrappers and a 30% DR debuff and you're looking at meeting or exceeding the 90-ish DPS regen rate of an AV just with the bonus damage. Of course, that assumes you're really delivering 150 DPS per Scrapper through any damage resistance the AVs have. The more DR they have to you're team's attacks, the more attractive -Regen looks again.
Naxstorm has done it on a storm/sonic
    http://www.youtube.com/user/Naxstorm#p/u/2/qDRAVhsSvhM

Shadowhunter linked because of his DP increasing his regen above normal AV´s.

Having a good source of -res was pretty good with storm. Maybe it still is but i hate the Zappy Mccloud change ;(.
  11. Double traps/sonic or Traps/Sonic Trap/Dark

Solo -Regen is crucial for GM´s and it helps alot against AV´s.
On teams it helps to drop AV´s and GM´s faster. -Regen is also good on teams when you go up against the Av´s and Heros with gm code(RV).
Kronos is also nice to have -regen since he has AV resistances. Good to have against Rock Wall while you clear cairns. Also good to have if cairns got stuck behind the wall.

    DE monsters drops faster.

Thats all i can think about now.

I'm thinking Ice/Ment Blaster, maybe. Any thoughts on how well that combo would work? Sonic may be the best choice, granted, but I have several sonics already.

    Edit:

That's kinda what I meant, but thanks for spelling out the details. I don't know why I never realized that before, but thanks again to all for getting me up to speed on this fun little trick.

Sorry i misunderstood you. I thought you were taliking about Darain Psyche. Most other powers with -regen are not slottable as Uber said.

Dunno about Ice, i guess it could work as afaik its the third best single target DPS set after Fire and Sonic Blasters have access to. Again i´m not really sure, i tried to figure out a build for this on my Sonic/Mental blaster but i couldnt get the sufficient recharge and defense work out in my favor.

I would like to ask for some clarification on one thing that's come up several times. Drain Psyche being slottable. I thought to myself, "Aren't all powers slottable?" So I assume you mean that the base -regen percentage can be slotted to have a greater percentage of reduction. Is that so? If so, way cool! I assume that slotting for Heal would up the regen gained by the player and also up the -regen inflicted on the AV/GM. Am I on the right track here?
    Yup .

That means the -Regen is actually 40s long (or possibly 39 seconds long). Given that the trap itself has a 90s base recharge, that's pretty clearly able to be made "perma" with recharge slotting and a bit of global recharge, even with its fairly long cast time. Which is what Silverado pointed out (and TRT backed up).

Based on the way this works, it's extremely unlikely it'll miss in a way that keeps it from being on full-time. (It would have to miss non-stop for 10 reactivations.) If you can lock down something's Regen at 0, the DPS impact of having to recast the trap becomes pretty meaningless for purposes of beating the opponent's -Regen, and just affects your bottom line for burning down its base HP.
The only thing i have seen PGT miss against is the PFF skanks(diabolique and nemesis)

    -Regen

Here to confirm -regen from PGT lasts longer than 10s and is not hard to perma
  16. plant/fire and earth/fire are easy to get into and very rewarding.

The lack of availability of Unbounded Leap and Celerity is getting annyoing. Which pools do i roll in?

    AE and TF rolls
  18. Because you didnt get an answer after an hour?
  19. I´ve done it 2 times, second was an mo run where you really dont want to risk planting. Having ranged -regen is pretty sweet in those situations.

Thanks didnt know that. We did manage to grin it down though but was going slow.
  21. Wow that sucks, its hard enough to get people to do this one thanks to the small amoutn of merits.
Thanks for the reply though. One on the team had a 39 thankfully.

Also forgot what a pita the rockwall is. once we hit about 6k life left the dps came to halt and the healthbar hardly moved.
