Are there any effective melee sappers? I was thinking that an Electric Armor Brute or Tanker might do the trick.

Power Sink + Lightning Field + Tier 4 Gravitic Interface (for some -recovery)

When I'm in the mood to deal damage from afar, I grab my ranged Crab. And on really fast teams, I find hoverblasting to be less stressful than playing a melee toon that's forced to constantly switch targets because everything's dying so quickly. And the prisoner escape phase during BAF itrials are also good times. Just pick a door, summon pets, and go crazy with AoEs. Muhaha!

If there's room, would love to tag along with Tarantiel (Crab Spider).

Lol, now I feel like such an underachiever. I don't think my own Crab Spider can take down even one Pylon.

I led the PI team for an hour and a half and then turned the reins over to Kanga when I had to leave. Aside from my Tanker, I believe there was only one other 50 on the team so there was quite a bit of leveling going on (always a good thing). We fought Freakshow, Longbow, a sprinkling of CoT/Malta, Rikti, and of course Council. I had fun and I hope everyone else did too.

TANKER TUESDAY

When: March 20th @ 9PM (Eastern) / 8PM (Central) / 7PM (Mountain) / 6PM (Pacific)
Where: Kings Row (by the gate to Independence Port)
Who: Tankers (of any level)

Why: Tanker Tuesday is an event that occurs every Tuesday, but switches which server it takes place on weekly. (This week it's Freedom.) So if you enjoy playing Tankers and want to team up with other people who feel likewise, then come join us for some all-Tanker teaming mayhem.

How: Typically, several of the TT veterans will begin forming teams once the start time rolls around. Just listen to what each particular team leader is recruiting for and let him/her know if you'd like to join his/her group. There's always a team running radio missions so that anyone can participate regardless of level or status (free, premium, vip), and other teams will usually run things like tip missions, task forces, trials, the WST, etc.

In addition to what a lot of people have already mentioned, I also always slot a Level 10 Kismet: +6% ToHit unique on all of my toons.

I'm still new at helping the TT vets coordinate things, but I hope everyone had fun tonight. A huge thank you to Witty for the awesome job of making sure everyone had a team.

Funniest moment for me during the TF was when Romulus, in the 3rd mission, ran like an Olympic sprinter away from us. Was pretty comical having to chase such a big guy around.

Since today is Tanker Tuesday on Freedom, I love inviting Tanks. (shameless plug) 0;x

Just a general FYI. I'll be one of the team leaders tonight, so just look for me on Winteriel. I plan to do a +4 ITF. However, if the team composition ends up being mostly level 35-49, I'll turn the difficulty down a notch after the first mission if we seem to be having trouble.

Lol, now that is a hardcore team!

If there's enough interest in it, I'll be trying to lead a +4 ITF for Freedom's TT tomorrow night.

In other news, TankHQ is growing nicely. So far we've got the following Tankers: an Electric Armor, a Fiery Aura, a Shield Defense, a Super Reflexes, two Ice Armors, and two Stone Armors. (We just need people with Dark Armor, Invulnerability, and Willpower to complete the set.)

My original main was a Dark/Elec/Elec Defender.

But then I started playing Controllers a lot, and an Ill/Emp/Psi Controller became my new favorite.

Then one day I tried out a Tanker. I didn't even know what I was doing or if the powersets that I picked were any good. But I fell in love with my Ice/Fire/Soul Tanker and he's been my main ever since.

The Strong & Pretty badge is my favorite due to its origin.

There's now a TankHQ SG on Freedom. It's still new though, so there's no base yet. But I've been farming Prestige and have two million banked at the moment which should be enough for a starter base. (We just need a volunteer to be our primary base designer.) So if any TT'ers are in need of a place to call home, just hit me up at @TBoxer and I'll get you invited.

I always hit autorun at the most inopportune times.

Me: *accidentally presses autorun key, charges straight into a x8 spawn, and immediately dies*

I try to play it off, cool-like, as if I meant to do it.

I'd imagine that being able to slot Force Feedback: Chance for +Recharge procs in attacks like Whirling Axe and Pendulum must be pretty nice.
