I tend to go for either punny names or two word (adjective noun) type names.
Death Weta and Cricketeer both sound good.
A friend suggested Lady Linyphia, but that's relating to a spider. Otherwise it'd be good. -
This happens to me a lot, but that's besides the point.
I have a Soldier, got her to level 24, went Crab. Whoo and all that.
Dumped her by the wayside because I was very not happy with her name and costume.
Rather than take the time to reroll, I'm willing to rename her.
Some art here and there, mostly unrelated, had inspired me to the following costume:
I just need a name now :/
Any help please? -
What your quote doesn't say is that it's based on 4e rules (love 'em or hate 'em), only contains 5 classes (the first 4e Player's Handbook alone contains 8, and they're well over 2 dozen officially supported classes now), and runs more like an online single player game with optional co-op.
Oh, and since it's 4e, it's set a few hundred years in the future from 3.5 Forgotten Realms. Whatever tie-in they're trying to do is somewhat of a failure based on that alone. And Salvatore is involved in the writing for the game, as well.
And it's called Neverwinter. Neverwinter Nights is a whole different game. -
That's really cool! Great art!
And the concept is a million times better than the Crab I made (and subsequently have never played again). -

I think I'll be going for Cardiac Core on my Blaster. Better End usage is always nice, and would let me use Hasten more often. Plus increased Range.
And if the Defense will boost powers like Combat Jumping, even better. -
-
I'd love to come but I haven't ever run most of these. And if you're going for no deaths...
Ah well. -
Ooh. I like. I generally don't read this stuff, but I like this one. Sorry, nothing to say beyond that. Makes me wish I could meet her in-game, heh.
-
I agree with Sam here.
If we put the choice *in* the mission they would turn solo-only. And since I do about half my tipping with friends, when we reach that stage we'll be forced to split up. No thanks. -
I'd say XII is the worst of all the ones I've seen.
Yes, I'd rather play X2 over it.
X wasn't horrible, and I liked the sphere grid. Plot had highs and lows, and I never managed to get any final weapon except for Yuna's. I did totally pwn Omega without even trying, though.
Loved IX, even though I haven't ever beaten it yet.
VII got me into it, but looking back (and even trying to play it again) I realize how horrible it actually is.
But of the pre-playstation era I've only played IV, V, VI, Legends 3, and Adventure, so I don't know who Garland is. Didn't make it far enough into IX to have it revealed either, though upon mention I think he had just shown up. -

Well I know floppy ear isn't perfect, but it's still an animal ear option. And one I'll use if other ears won't work based one head options.
-
2 though 4 are already easily done in the current game.
-
I like it!
I'd go with the 3rd hairstyle, but the 1st is pretty good, too. I'd say the 4th but it exposes the human ears.
Another option is to go with the floppy ear design instead, if you want a shorter hairstyle.
And I understand about the tail clipping. Sometimes, you just gotta do it, but it's not always horrible. -
Gald I could be of help!
Show us what you come up with if you don't mind -

Quote:Does Sword have a dagger option? If so, you could easily swing this towards an "assassin." Even without one, it just means you're an assassin with a sword.OK, then, change of plans. The werewolf concept is out. It's reserved for another character if and when we see more melee proliferation. This means that I'll need a brand new concept for a Sword/SR Stalker. Since this makes the question much broader, I'm open to even the vaguest descriptions you guys have. "Spirit from the afterlife who wants revenge" or "robot who turns invisible" or anything of the sort is perfectly acceptable. I really need to salvage this Stalker, even if I have to turn him into something completely different. So long as I still have a Sword/SR Stalker after all is said and done, I'll be happy.
I misread and though you had said Shield at first (which Stalkers don't even get) and was thinking some sort of mage-assassin with an elemental shield. However, that idea could still work. An assassin trained in some magic arts (could be explained by whichever epic pool you choose) in order to better fight wizards and normal folk alike. This could also explain away your high evasion from SR. And it lends itself towards a mage-y costume, although you'd go for a more streamlined one.
I can try to whip together a costume if you want a visualization. -
Quote:I named him Nanaki, because I had already known that was his real name from watching my cousin. Made for some interesting dialogue at his hometown. "Who's Nanaki?" "Nanaki is Nanaki." Right...
So, instead, I think I'll go in another direction for the time being, at least as a test, that being a ripoff of an entirely different character - Final Fantasy VII's Nanaki, known to players as Red XIII, or whatever they chose to name him (my neighbour named him after me when he played).
Jade green sounds like a neat color to go with it. And you don't have to go with the big bulky chest either. You can make it more scrawny if you desire.
I have a character with a werewolf form, but it's not her default form (although she always keeps the tail), and she's a DP/Mental blaster on top of it all, so in werewolf form she's flipping around these massive pistols. It's fun. Kinda generic brown but I used some clockwork shoulderpads and a big belt in her normal color scheme (grey and white). I also have a macro set up to do the howl cc emote to change into that form. -
Quote:Sure you could! Have him wear a hat!
Civilian 1: Oh my god! Look it's MegapunchBotX000!
Civilian 2: What? No, that's just Martin, he works in accounting.
Civ1: But... he's huge, and looks all robotic like.
Civ2: Yeah, but he's wearing a hat. Hats are used to keep your body heat, since like 80% of that is lost through the top of your head. Why would a robot need to keep it's body heat?
Civ1: Hrm.. yeah, I guess you're right. Must not be him.Chicken Boo!

Quote:No, I can't.can you imagine walking down the streets of Atlas Park as a civilian and being attacked by Hellions
Is it going to set my level to 1 while I'm in 'civilian mode' or something?
Why would I give up all my powers to move slower through zones?
What sort of tips are you talking about, anyway? What could I hear in there that I couldn't somewhere else?
Really, use one of the 5 slots you can get, make a civilian outfit, and then use Walk.
I already make a civilian/casual outfit for my characters. -
Here's my go at it. I think I have the right blue.
For some reason, I thought 'Witch,' which made me think of medieval times (must be all the fantasy gaming), and I wound up going this direction with it.
An alternative would be to put the Arcane border on the collar, but I went without it.
