I remember blipverts (condensed commercials that were blowing people up).
Here's wiki on it:

Pre-ordered or pre-purchased? Pre-ordered you wouldn't actually have GR yet because you wouldn't have gotten your CD Key.

They had mentioned last week or so that this time it would be unlimited during the 7 days but that 7 days' window was starting tomorrow.

Quote:I pity them too. After long thought, I pity the Resistance. They are well meaning but wrong. My original statements stand. I respect their view point, but the strength of Emperor Cole's empire must not be even slightly threatened, lest the house of cards falls and Hamidon rains down destruction.
It grieves me to excise the Resistance, but it must be done. With force.
As B.A. often said on The A-Team. "I pity the fools!" -

Quote:They completely fooled me. I almost never check the forums on the weekends so I didn't know about the maintenance this morning.I figured they'd so it this way. Good show Paragon Studios. See everyone tonight. Picking up my CE tomorrow.
Oh, if only I had tomorrow off from work. -

Don't kick yourself unless you didn't pre-purchase and cannot go to it in live right now.

* looks forlornly at clock and 2 hours until I get home *
Well, I waited this long. Two more hours is survivable.
Pre-thanks to devs, GMs, Mods, etc. for all the work to launch this ship. -
Quote:Sounds just like real life's markets.Better safe than sorry is what made the Market essentially shut down for a week. I've never been an opponent of safety, outside of cases where it's hugely detrimental to my enjoyment, as well as that of other people.
One of the bad things about having an economy - it takes players to run it, and if players get spooked with irrational fear, it dies. And then we can't blame the developers for it. We can only blame the players.
But honestly player psychology has been a major reason why the Black Market has behaved oddly for years compared to Wentworths. -
People reporting they can make Praetorians.
Post your merged market glee/hate here. -
Quote:Better safe than sorry? While I have no doubt they would restore lost inf and items, that might take time and I hate waiting.See, this is what I've failed to wrap my head around all week. Why take down your bids? Did they not say everything was going to be dropped in your transaction inventory with the listing fee returned? Why pull them down, then? Fear that they'll "disappear?"
I've had it up to here with doomsaying about a future of missing items. That same fear is why the market's been up a creek all last week. Everyone's bids will be waiting for them when the servers launch back up. -
Quote:That pretty well covers my thoughts on it.That's generally my problem with it, though. Why even call it a Battleship movie? Just about any movie with boats fighting at some point could theoretically be The Battleship Movie. The source material is so nonexistent that trying to claim the two are related at all pretty much screams, "We're really just hoping you'll be nostalgic enough for Battleship to give us $10 for a movie ticket!"

Quote:No one is getting on in that thread that I can see.

Quote:I am lacking one portion of the tradition. I left my laptop at home so I am not sitting here constantly checking for the ability to login. This is my version of that.
I'm sitting here babbling away on the boards while I eat my lunch. Besides, these threads are TRADITION, MAN!

Or they could launch I18 after this maintenance with GR not enabled until midnight. The market merger is an I18 feature so they would be in the clear for that.
I hope people can get on soon and let us know what is happening. -
-
I wonder if I18 and the merged market is why the servers are down now with GR coming at midnight.

Quote:Hey, hey, hey! Watch it, bub! Angie puts stars in my eyes.Clooney would make a great Sinatra. he has the charisma and acting chops to get it done.
Jolie as Monroe is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.
Might as well ask a praying mantis to be a teddy bear.
I'd prefer in the future you write it as "ask a tiger to be a teddy bear" as a nod to her role in Kung Fu Panda.
