Limited # of Server Moves?

Are there a limited # of Free server moves? Right now, it appears as if there are only 6 per account.

I'm assuming there is some sort of slowdown, because it's taking a long time for the moves to be processed.

If it's anything like the last time they did this, you'll get 6 per X period of days and so on. Check every few days to see if your transfer counter 're-ups'.

They had mentioned last week or so that this time it would be unlimited during the 7 days but that 7 days' window was starting tomorrow.

Hmm. Now if only it will complete the first transfer... (Limited to one active transfer at a time, so if it takes an hour to do the first one, it's gonna be slow going getting all my moves done...

I'm looking into this to make sure everything goes smoothly. No worries, there will be plenty of free server transfers to go around.

Any chance of getting free Rename Tokens, (or whatever they're called - sorry I've just never been able to justify the cost of these), to minimize a bunch of unnecessary transferring = for people who just want to rename some characters.

Also (to anyone who's tried and knows...), If I were to transfer a horribly-named character that is the 1st rank "Leader" of a SG or VG, would I lose that spot to my alts OR to someone else that has alts in the SG/VG, who typically only logs in every few weeks or months?
(Or even worse losing the spot to some alt that hasn't logged in for years = literally, that I haven't booted in case just in they come back. I suppose I could just start booting en masse...)

Can you promote a trusted friend to the first rank, and then ahve them transfer it back to you after you move/rename?

Seriously though - no, I can't. And in one specific case, I really don't even know who the heck the other couple semi-active people in that SG actually are - its been a bit like sharing an apartment with strangers for a couple years.

Almost all my friends left the game long, long ago (in a galaxy named "Pre-PVP & ED") round about I5-ish...
A few "holdouts" split not long before CoV/I6, (Specifically - back before they announced that there would only be 1 subscription fee for Both CoH & CoV - for along time it was presumed it would cost $30 a month to play both), With 1 or 2 staying sub'ed but inactive until about I7/I8.
I haven't been able to get them to leave their other games to come back... (Well, not for more than 2 weeks worth of reactivation via free key codes I had stashed away.)


This is just one of several things that the Devs seem perfectly content to leave as is = a major PITA - to people with only one account!
Of course, with 2 accounts - you can get around this and all kinds of similar headaches!Sorry, but relying on a semi-stranger's kindness (to get alts into SGs/VGs) and whatnot - simply isn't an acceptable solution IMO.

And now with GR (that I've bought), all the Booster packs (that I've bought), and the almost 6 years of Vet Rewards on my account = Trying to justify a second account subscription - just to avoid all these hassles & headaches that quietly nag at me when playing - is becoming a growing disincentive to play.

I'm paid up for something like the next 2 years, I'm not leaving... I just expected they would've addressed/fixed all this (*ahem*) stuff by now!

Oh, And FWIW - the free transfers don't seem to be working properly yet - according to various threads around here...
