I've tried and tried with friends and with randoms. My work schedule dictates otherwise though. =(

Work also dictates that I shall miss most events, raids, weekday taskforces and other fun things.

I hate work. Keeps getting in the way of fun.

Way back when I was flying around Perez Park with a level 30 something fire/fire blaster badge hunting. I was heading through the lake when a giant green blob appears before me. I had never seen anything so big before! My heart racing, I took off straight up and away from it certain of my impending defeat.

Suddenly, nothing happened.

I stopped, turned around to see why I wasn't dead yet.

It was a grey con Kraken.

I defeated it solo in short order, mostly as retribution for proving I was a noob.

Seriously though, there should be a master checklist for these types of stories. I'm pretty sure I've done everything already mentioned in this thread.

ED slotting pre-ED? Check
Wrong door at tram? Check
Unknowing difficulty change? Check
Power snafus? Check
Bugging things that weren't bugged? Check
Getting lost? Check
Exploring to Talos with a level 4 and deleting it because I couldn't get back? Check

Why does it need to be structured like that? Why can't you join and figure it out as you go along? You obviously don't know the OP, so to try to shoehorn it all in to a predefined structure sounds difficult, so wouldn't it be better to join up and see where the RP takes you?

It's just another view/option.

Just last night I had a post of mine trimmed from a thread. I don't mind. It happens. The Mods are paid to do what they do.

Some people, though, live in a black and white, right or wrong world.

When I first started in a management position overseeing 40 Team Members, I came across strongly on many issues and rules calls. I did so to make sure everyone understood that I wasn't going to be a push-over and that I was there to get things done and done properly. Since that time I have relaxed a little and let the minor, unimportant issues slide. I now focus on the larger issues/picture. That's just me though.

I don't mind our new red-name Overlord. May his reign be a prosperous one!

This will be a great test opportunity for me. Try out all sorts of oddball combinations without it taking too long.

That said, I could just play my main and try to hit 50.....

Would this not be the same for SK/Lackey badges? You only gain progress when actively gaining XP? Or in this case, power time only gets used when actively participating in combat?

If so, then I would have to agree with this being a balanced change to avoid the power being lost with travel time/mapserver disconnects time issues.

I have noticed there are some recent event/patch updates that have not been made to this list.

Will this be updated come I7 or has it been abandoned?
