I think there is a small misunderstanding here about Skeletons. Just becuase you have a 2, 4 or even 6 legged one it does not mean it would work for other forms. A skeleton is more then just the joints like in a person, it is also the outer shape to some degree. The skeleton issue is one of the reasons a lot of FPS games have few to none female characters in it. Basically unless your going to have something with the same basic lay out you will need a new skeleton. This is why costumes have to be ported for the three body types as we have now and one of the reasons the Devs has given us a no on huge females.
Don't get me wrong I would LOVE a shapeshifting power set. I just think the work needed would far out weigh the reward for doing it. The other issue is how a few people dislike PB/WS forms they make your costume pointless becuase the form replaces it. Shapeshifting would most likely work the same you change to a wolf you look like every other wolf form player. -
I am normal in the camp of IOs should never be reclaimed.
But really I like this idea. Its more a paying to get back something that might have been hard to find in the first place then the other suggestions I've seen that is just wanting there IOs back for free.
I mean you still have Storage limits and the cost in here would keep someone from shuffling there IOs to much. Your still burning Inf that you would have to use to get new IOs anyways.
About my only suggestion to this is adding a chance for failure Like when combining enchantments. Just some sort of change to lose your IO would make it just risky enough and costly enough to keep all the swapping to a minimum. -

Thugs like the rest of MM primary powers is ranged it just happen to be the closest to having an multiple man sort thing with gang war so I used it as a base.
I do realize this would never be added to the game just my random thoughts.
And yeah being able to customize pets for MM would be completely awesome but I do not see that happening anytime soon. -
So MM primary are ranged... But this got me to thinking that a up front melee MM would be cool. And with doppelganger tech recently added it got me thinking of guys like Multiple Man. So here is my random 'If I could make a MM set' idea. No its not a suggestion I really don't think the Devs will want to and yet another MM set after they just added one. But what do you think about the idea?

All the names are place holders and yes it is modeled off of Thugs with it being a fully melee based MM with all the Pets also being Melee.
Echos would be copies of yourself only Gray (maybe customizble for color) no auras
Copy would be copies of yourself colors and all. no auras
Doppelganger would be a full copy auras and all (if you had no aura there would be a default glow to keep it from getting confusing)
So that it. My random idea. Feel free to pick it apart as you see fit. -

Ok before I get started let me say this is not a suggestion or complaint of any sort. I know this is not something that will be done nor do I believe it would be a good idea. This is just my random brain doing random things.
So my epic altitist kicked in the other night and I was poking around character ideas when it dawn on me. It would be cool if you could blend power sets more. Say take two Primaries and make a Hybrid Primary. Like Fire and Ice blast where the element alternates between power teirs. What would you make if you could take any two Primary and any two Secondary from a single AT to build your new fictional Hybrid sets?
For me It was a four element blaster idea. Fire/Ice Primary with Earth/Electric as a secondary. -
while I understand these limits are in place to stop spammers and that they are troublesome to your plans for shifting stuff between two accounts. I do not think lifting this limit is over all a good idea as its primary reason for having the cap is to make spamming harder to do.
I would like to at lest see emails to your own global not count towards this limit. Sure its not going to help you move stuff between two accounts but if you have two accounts you can always dual box them to shift things between them. -

Rebirthing is just grind fest, it is not true content.
This pretty much sums up how I view it. Grinding is sort of the opposite of what CoX is about. CoX based around the idea of alts lots and lots of alts. up to 36 per server alts. Rebirth would undermined that. Why make an alt we you can Rebirth and make a better character that way? And once that is added then you basically added 50 levels to the game. More levels does not make a game better. As stated content makes a game better. And more to the point content that is accessible to the avarge player. This is why a lot of issues over the years to CoX have added stuff to low, mid, and high level areas. becuase if you just add to end game you move away from the Alt friendly ideals CoX is built around. -

I have to agree I've respec'd a lot of toons in my time and never gotten less then the displayed amount. Even when I've let a set go.
IIRC like one of the other posters stated it is showing vendor values for anything becuase... well honestly if there is no vendor value there is no real way for it to make up a value for it so anything not vendorable will list as 0 (see the HO screeny above). But if your are positive you got a false number I would /bug it. That is the only way you will even see your inf returned. -
We have so so Redside. It depends on who you know and when your on.
That being said right now there is a huge upswing on reside due to i17 so right now you got a better chance of getting something going redside. Will it last past the rush well that I don't know. -
