Quote:It's a little humbling to look at that list. In one month, Avengers sold more tickets than some movies that have been out years, movies that have likely had more than one theatrical run, like Lawrence of Arabia and 2001 A Space Odyssey.Funny you should mention Gone With the Wind: Box office adjusted for inflation. Avengers is #35. For now.

Lately, I've been trolling the 24 hr bargain shirt sites. They pick one shirt a day, sell it for $10 plus shipping, and then retire it. They usually do either obscure movie references or mashups, so you won't find the regular iconic stuff, but you will find cool geekwear that you'll spend forever explaining to people!
Teefury
Ript
Shirtpunch
Qwertee
The Yetee
Most of their 'clocks' roll over around midnight Eastern time, except for Qwertee, which from the flags at the top also accepts various currencies and ships worldwide. I live in California, so I've never looked at how these sites ship around the world. They all offer mens and womens shirts; Ript and Shirtpunch also offer kids sizes, for indoctrinating munchkins.
I've spent waaay too much money at these sites. Fair warning. -

Nethergoat's returning player diary thread found here is a humorous and informative insight into the experience of...a returning player, oddly enough. I'd point MJ there for funsies.

Yes. I was under the impression that crossing the streams was bad.

And I'm wrong. Not the first time, and likely won't be the last. Thank you for correcting me.
So, how to explain the screenshot? Back to square one... -
It does. SIREN is not the same as Siren, as far as the game is concerned.

Battle not with crotches lest ye become crotchless, and if you gaze into the Statescrotch the Statescrotch gazes into you...

There's a thread in the gameplay and bugs thread from another player with a similar issue here ( http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=286159 ); I posted there about this thread. Both of you bought the pieces piecemeal rather than the whole pack. So far I don't think AshleyHudson has submitted any ticket regarding her missing shoes, so I don't know if she'll have any more luck than you in getting them back. Not sure if she did or did not buy the club shirt at the same time.

A similar thing happened to Steele Magnolia, in another thread ( http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=286170 ). From reading both threads, it's sounding like the only real way to have validly gotten the heels is by buying the whole pack, and any piecemeal purchase of the heels was an 'error.'
I say error in quotes because unless they specifically stated the heels were a bonus at the time ( which I don't remember them doing), you and Steele and anyone else with this issue should have your shoes back. But that's going to take escalation at this point, as well as more information. -
Okay, so I was tooling around on my Stalker, I had ported into Pocket D, and exited via Port Oakes, intending to go to Cap. Soon as I exited, I saw red skies and was all, Oooh, zombies! So I called out to see if there was a rally point.
Toon named 'Im a Crab Mon' sent me an invite.
Turns out he's a Crab Soldier in green and yellow armor, talking with a Jamaican accent. And he's got two buddies, also Crabs, also decked out in the green and yellow. One love, Rasta.
We get to wailing on the undead, and we get enough members that the lieutenants and bosses start showing up. Nothing out of the ordinary, until...
...the Nightmares arrive.
If you look at my invisible legs in the pics, you can kinda see the Jamaican Crabs.
I gotta admit...this really shocked me. In a good way. I was so jazzed taking part in this invasion.
Has anyone else seen these around? Is this a new thing for this year (I hope) and not just an awesome bug? Because I would LOVE for this to hit Atlas Park. -
As of right now, the Halloween costume pack is on sale in the Paragon Market, and it does include the Bats aura. No MoC CCE, but the aura is global, as part of the pack.

*walks in, still wearing pointy ears, holding a Tribble of Borg*
...fascinating.
