  1. 1) Make a character with Fire Melee
    2) In the costume editor, change the head to Beast 1 (under Monstrous)
    3) In the power editor, change Breath of Fire to a bright green
    4) Behold, Super Sneeze!

    That is all.
  2. I was too slow! Boo!

Edit: And this is me with 4 Chrome windows open, constantly refreshing the 3 code giveout sites and keeping my Enter Code page open and refreshed.
  3. Whenever I roll up an alt, I tend to look at the powersets as a whole and I leave backstory and concept to develop on their own. I've noticed that I tend to only want to pick powerset combinations that work well together; that is, I like it when the secondary effects of one set seem to enhance the effects of the other set.

So this is more of an open question, but in general, what powerset combinations, for any AT, do you think show good synergy?

Off hand, I can think of Dark Melee / Super Reflexes working well together because of SR's high defense paired with DM's -ToHit on enemies.
  4. Capped damage, ridiculously high accuracy and perception, and probably a fair chunk of added defense.

Edit: Yes I know those aren't numbers. But to be fair, when you have super-stacked Leadership powers, it becomes unimportant.

I gave up on analysing whether or not the contents of the mutant pack fit the term 'mutant' about four seconds after we saw a bit of it. Regardless of what it's called, I'm going to be using the pieces how I like and where, so the label doesn't really matter to me.
Agreed on this. The Organic Armor gloves and boots look great for high tech armor if you color it right.
  6. I think it's true that Freedom has more of t hat "Freedumb" chat at times, but I think it's a very fair trade-off from my old home server, Liberty. The players were nice, but there weren't many. On Freedom, however, I've found after years playing CoH, I'm finally able to get around to doing a lot of TFs I've never done before.
  7. Personally, I really like the Dimension Shift one.

I still think it's kind of funny that my comment got blown so far out of proportion.

    Edit: Just because it's fitting:

  9. Ok, I've updated my plan, now with Frankenslotting and a slightly rearranged power order.

  10. Thanks for the advice.

I'll probably drop Spirit Tree for Roots then. I was considering dropping it for something in the first place, but I wasn't sure what.
  11. Hey all.

I've finally gotten into leveling an alt, and I chose to roll Plant/Rad for a few reasons. I love Rad's debuffs, and I've always wanted to contribute something to the team besides damage for a change, I am crazy in love with Seeds of Confusion (who isn't? ), and I like the stacking holds between the 2 sets. (Between Strangler, Vines, Choking Cloud and EM Pulse, I should be able to lock down enemies pretty well if the powers work together as well as I hope).

The problem is, I've never leveled a Controller very far, and right now, my Plant/Rad is at level 18. I've planned out a rough idea of what order I want to pick my powers in, so as of now, what's below is the order I've been picking my powers.

I was wondering if I could get some more experienced 'trollers to critique my power picks and to help with some slotting. (Personally, I'm a fan of keeping end costs and recharge times low)

    So, here it is:

  13. I, for one, am incredibly happy the devs didn't turn the Mutant booster into an Animal booster, and instead chose to go with the sort of weird, well, mutated look that I love.

I can't read anymore of your posts. I'm getting angry at an internet forum, and that's just not good for my health.

Has anyone ever told you you're a pest? Or do you get it enough that you've learned to ignore it?

The way you shoot down other peoples' posts is just. . . . aye. Wow.

Tell you what? Go work some more on that ADST and Vanguard or CityofLore or whatever thing you wanted to work on. You can make sure the lore is 100% correct with no flaws or errors, and then all of us lore-ignorant peasants can amass at your site and praise you for your stupendous efforts in correcting us.

    Go ahead, go do it.

    Right now. Go.
  15. *crosses fingers*

Please, please, oh please be the Mutant pack. Puh-leeeeaaaaaase be the Mutant pack.

    The Lore Wiki

I honestly think CoH has too many wikis as is, and I'm not a fan that the OP has made another.

It can be confusing enough for me to find the up-to-date Wiki, let along for a new player. The last thing we need is another wiki.

I don't mean to be a downer, but why again can lore just not be added to the current CoH wiki? Why not make it a central source of information instead of having to browse 2 or 3 different wikis to look for something?

English is the only language I speak and I still don't get it.

Edit: Wait, waaaait a minute. . . I think I get it. Maybe. I'm just gonna sit down before I hurt myself.
  18. IMO, OP, you expect too much from your team. Sure it wouldn't take long to ask for it and say thanks afterwards, but to repeatedly do so is something I could easily see becoming tedious and annoying.

Speed Boost is pretty much a staple power of the Kinetics set. It's up to you to pick whether you want it or not, but you can't blame others if they assume you have it. On top of that, I feel like it's also your fault for expecting people to ask first. Some people may not want to ask for fear of sounding demanding, and others will get angry. IMHO, I think it's largely your own fault for instigating the problem. Had you SBed the team to begin with, it's likely the whole argument would have never come up in the first place.

That's not to say some people have bad manners about it. That's something you can't fix, but even then, if you don't give them a reason to complain in the first place (lack of SB), then you won't hear the complaints at all.

What he said. I think I've gotten 4 at this point. I only have one account.
  20. I think you should report any strange activity to Vanguard because they are still among us.
  21. I was browsing through the Rularuu the Ravager article on the wiki, and I noticed something:

    Quote:
Uuralur the Mirror: Uuralur presides over The Garden of Memories. The beings that reside there are reflections of the worlds that Rularuu has consumed, though it is unclear whether he created them out of remorse or amusement. Uuralur has organized many of these reflections into a guard force that patrols the area and keeps the remaining reflections in check.
Maybe I'm late to the speculation party, but it seems plausible (if not likely) that or friend, Mr. Backwards-Rularuu, has something to do with Ouroboros, the coming storm, and these new mirror image arcs. (Disclaimer: I haven't actually beaten all the new arcs yet, so I don't know if any of this is revealed or disproven).

I'd hope Rularuu and the Shadow Shard get involved in this somehow. By far, the Shard is my favorite area in the entire game, and I'm always eager to see if the devs will find a use for it except for old filler missions and a few excruciatingly long TFs.
  22. I've considered my MM as pretty much having "beat" the game by just getting him to 50. As much as I like the red side, the market is just too slow for me to try and completly IO him.

For my scrapper, it's still a WIP. Trying to turn him into a badger (Only have ~300 badges so far) and IO him out.
