If they had a "Combat TP" that animated in under a second, I would scoop that up and try to fit it on every build.
-
I would also like to know why you don't use Siphon life whenever it's up. It's superior damage! If you're slotting it for heal only, you're doing it wrong.
-
Ghosts obviously have no bodies to leave behind, and some robots detonate upon death, but the rest of the other enemies (unless I'm mistaken) all despawn at the same rate.

Quote:What terms, for example? You say half, so I'm guessing it's just a matter of learning the lexicon we use in this game, but perhaps we can help shed the light on some of them.I have read the guide, but half of it uses terms I don't know.
I've gotten my WS to level 10 and did a few missions with using the Dark Nova form. I don't find that it helps me much. The flying sometimes outranges melee enemies, but the real problem are still the Quantum dudes.
Each time I encounter one, I get a hospital trip.
I also don't like the looks and the sounds, so for now I'm just giving up on the Warshade, I have 13 other toons that are much more fun to play. I've tried everything except Peacebringer, and find this by far the hardest and least interesting to play.
And yes, soloing a kheldian for your first several levels can be painful. It's not something I would recommend to new players. You should probably find a team for it, if you're interested in continuing. Once you get Gravity Well, I find that things become a bit easier. -

Quote:I'm sure someone could tell you, but let me ask you this: What could you do with this knowledge? Will you stop and measure each jump before you make it, to prevent HP loss? Will losing a little HP from an overlong jump really hurt you in any meaningful way?My Question is- Does anyone know what the height limit is with both Beast and Ninja run before you would land and loose HP?
You can't die from a fall in this game, so unless you jump off of the roof of a skyscraper into an even (or higher) conning mob, I don't really see the problem. (Unless this question is purely scientific, in which case good luck to you finding that answer.) -

It looks like something went hilariously wrong with the direction of this thread, and I'm not too sure I want to read from the beginning. -

Quote:It is no longer necessary with Freedom. If your friend wants to come back, he or she need simply log in his/her old account.Did this promotion suddenly go away again or where do I find it? I was in my account right now and only found "refer a friend". I have a friend who wants to come back

I seem to recall it looking differently too (and having lots more color), but I can't tell if that's just because I still took unstoppable back in those days. If a change happenend, it was around i6 or so.

Quote:My non-VEAT badger needs one of those >_>This Saturday's Veat madness will be a changeup. The activity is going to be MAYHEM, specifically all the Mayhem missions. This will allow everyone that needs it to get invader, and the destruction badges.
Because these can be painful to get the event will be open to to anyone that wants to join.
Just sayin' -
Quote:It sounds pretty broken, unless it did no damage.Level 18- Motion Melee- Allows you to engage one foe in melee and move on to the next foe while the first still thinks he's fighting you. This would keep the first foes attention on "you" so your team can attack him without getting aggro. It lasts for only a few seconds before the foe realizes what has happened. Foe: Distract.
Level 32- Illusion Assault- Similar to the level 18 power but on a larger scale, this allows you to seemingly attack 3 to 5 foes in melee range at once without gaining any aggro from others.
What do you think. -

It was a very eventful day (no pun intended)! We started off with being ninjas for hire for Silver Mantis:
Afterwards, we got a little magical with a Mortimer Kal SF. We did pretty well for a team with no taunter. Team 2 beat us.
We weren't the droids Tin Mage was looking for, but our programming made us insist on helping him anyways.
Next up was the popular Skyrim ITF. There were many different concepts going on, and I was happy to see someone bring a Kajhiit character and even a Dremora.
Then, we moved on to blueside TF's with an Alien themed Moonfire TF. Our team was well represented by kheldians.
And lastly, all of Hess' base belonged to us. There were some interesting costumes on this one.
Soon to come, the Peregrine Party! Stay tuned. -
Quote:Well made/played khelds can solo AV's. I'd say that DPS is good enough for me.The amount of resistance warshades and peacebringers have access to would be broken if they could actually do something with it. Kheldian DPS is not hot and they have no team buffs/debuffs either. For the most part the amount of resistance they have is largely unnecessary too, and what they give up for it (ie good dps) leaves them as sacks of hp on legs.

1. Doesn't sound neccessary. If you want to play a young hero, make a young looking hero in the tailor. Making a new AT that is intentionally weaker than the other doesn't make sense. If you want to have realistic/low effectiveness powers, you can already do that.
2. You've already heard in the other thread why this game can't do Parkour. Use ninja run, it will do as a stand in.
3. Streetsweeping is not neccessary in this game, and there is no reason to train new players to do it. -
This week, half the team wanted to do Eden, the other half Sister. We also had a new guy, but unfortuntely he was far too low this time around. (We'll get to you next week little guy
)
So, I took my team on Eden. It was a very tough challenge taking down the Titan with just 5 Khelds, but we pulled through thanks to Pete.
I hope the other team faired well. Good night folks, see you tomorrow at the event, and next week, when we'll do something to help the lower level guys. -

This is tomorrow! I hope everyone has their costumes ready.
