It's a good idea, but I can't think of many archers that would smack enemies with their bows

Quote:Which says nothing, because a low level regen scrapper on a kajillion inf build is about as epic as a low level willpower scrapper on an SO build.I really don't want to mix it up in this thread but SHENANIGANS

That is a scrapper blaster duo running original Positron in an hour and 14 minutes before we had access to +6 level powers when exemped and without a kajillion inf build. And with one death that wasn't the blaster. -
Quote:Yes, how funny that he didn't mention anything regarding darkness, just talked about sounds. He wanted to, he really did.... but he said scratch it, so i erased my memory and did not see it :P
And how annoying the Umbra Beast's howl is, i really doubt that he was A) referring to that, and B) Has stopped most people from playing this powerset.Quote:I can't play it anymore because the constant howling from the pet has driven me bonkers.Quote:Just another case showing how not having the in game option has ruined the set for another player. I mean there is a reason I will not roll a demon MM even if I like it, I hate the sounds with passion since they are way to loud and frequent.Quote:I lost most of my enthusiasm when I got the top pet. Too bad.Quote:The Umbra beast is what turns me off each time. The set was awesome, but once I get back to playing him, I bring the wolf out and I'm like, "Oh, yeah...that's why..." I get that the sound could be turned off for me and that's fine. But it shouldn't HAVE to be turned off to not be annoying. Howling is fine. Howling every 5 seconds is not. -

I think you may have wondered into the wrong thread with that comment.
No biggy tho, it happens all the time.
I think you may have issues with reading comprehension.

If you say so. It all sounds the same to me at this point. Especially when you start talking about full teams, with all your allies powers going off, the chuggachugga of machine guns.... -
It amazes me how many people complain about sets ruined by sound--no, scratch that...
It amazes me how many people play with the sound on in the first place. I turned that off after my first year or so with the game. Only time I ever feel the need to turn it back on is for a glowie hunt. How does the constant sound effects of enemies shooting/attacking you not grate on your ears? -
Not to mention how many times said supergroup has changed hands. It is not unheard of for people to sell them on the forums.

Just to make sure we're clear, you understand that the proc will function like interface, right? It won't just proc on the attack you slot it in.

You'd find everything you need to know in those AT's respective forums, whether through searching the threads or making your own and asking specific questions about each.

To be fair, I imagine most of the reason base raids were largely ignored were precisely because they were PVP, while the OP's idea sounds strictly PvE. I, for one, would love for there to be another reason than the CoP trial (and decoration) to have a mission computer in my base (assuming this is a planned thing, and not random annoyance like certain obnoxious mini-games shoveled into otherwise decent games).
That said, there are numerous issues to account for, most of which have been named already. And fixing those issues is likely too much work for what would be a small number of people that would take advantage of it. -
Bragging about your time is nice and all, but the point I was trying to make was that we somehow manage to take the same amount of time each time we run it, regardless of the team members or strategy. It's an interesting factoid, in my opinion.

I'm guessing it'll be a panacea proc clone (in terms of heal value, not mechanics). Will be nice having those firing constantly.

I find it interesting that each time I've recorded our ITF completion time has had a one hour and 8 minute finish time. And if my memory serves, the few times I wasn't able to take a screenie with the times on it were also at (or very near) that benchmark.

I've edited the OP to narrow down our starting time to 9pm Eastern, as we've been starting that early regularly for a while now.

Nope. BTW, Paragonwiki has that information in a nice and convenient location.

Quote:For all intents/purposes (as it relates to bases), a rogue is a villain and a vigilante is a hero. There is no difference. Assuming you can earn prestige at all, no matter where that character is, it'll earn prestige.A follow-up question on this that may or may not be relevant.
On a Vigilante that is in an SG will it earn Prestige in Hero and Co-Op zones only or in any zone?
Similarly, on a Rogue that is in an SG will it earn Prestige in Villain and Co-Op zones only or in any zone?
Basically trying to find out what limitations, if any, there are for the fence-straddlers for earning Prestige.
Not that I plan to switch any of my characters, but the information is always good to know in case it comes up in the future. -
I'd put em in the SG for that nice Praetoria bonus before you take them redside, unless you plan on coming back to blue at some point.

You can also recreate your character in AE, and take a picture of it on any map you choose. Granted, you may find it hard to get a good angle as you won't be able to easily position the NPC.
