This will be my last mothership raid for two weeks, I will be out of town July 12-21st or thereabouts.

My arc "The All-Seeing Eye" 57352 was flagged as" JABOSH". Maybe this is true, if so I don't see it as a major flaw. I wasn't aiming to write [u]War and Peace[u], but rather a romp that would allow the player to have fun for an hour or two.

The one major story flaw pointed out by Venture is that in the final mission the player is sent to deal with a crisis in the final mission instead of it being obliterated by an airstrike (or dealt with by the Freedom Phalanx, etc). I knew this was an obvious "why don't the good guys do this instead" scenario, but then every single mission and story arc in this game is. What place is there for the up and coming hero or villain if Statesman and his uber buddies or Recluse and his goons do everything?

What I was aiming for is that the player gets to save the day and be the star, not the contact, and not Statesman. The final map was chosen to feel like a warzone, to be epic and cinematic. It was an artistic choice, not a logical one.

I'm happy with my review. It's not literature. JABOSH isn't always bad. It almost feels like praise in this case.

Rescue Lady Jane with an Emp defender... let her do all the work!

It's not the rescue or keeping the alive I don't like it is the walk to the door. Bleh. Especially when they can't keep up. It's the worst on my Widow who has the speed increase.

Check out @PW's arc "Axis and Allies" for inspiration. It is extremely well done. In my opinion it is one of the best arcs in the MA.

Start writing in the RP forums, you'll be over 10,000 before you know it.

And don't do any of the new TFs or revamped Faultline content either.

Count me as another one; I find nothing funny or cute about being turned into a desk lamp.

I'd prefer that they create another emote with the pumpkin only, thereby allowing everyone to be happy. As it is now though, I think turning into a desk lamp or a barrel or a wooden box is stupid, and this has spoiled my enjoyment of the emote. Which is too bad, because it was one of the best.

Count me as another. It's cute, but I liked the pumpkins. This isn't predictable, so isn't RPable for me, and something that hasn't been mentioned:

What you see isn't what your teammates see. You see a desk lamp, they may see a hospital bed - or something else entirely.

My reflexes are trained from the days of "A sapper in every group". I love the titans, the gunslingers, the gun drones, the tactical operatives, but watching my character's endurance drop to zero... eat a blue... drain to zero again... ouch.

It's not that I don't know how to fight them, it's that it's not fun. I kill them first. Forget soloing a defender against Malta. I could do it, I won't. The damage output isn't fast enough to take out a Sapper before he zeroes the Defender's end and *squip*. It would be a perpetual inspiration refill just to attempt it. I never do Malta arcs solo on my Defenders.

Everything else about Malta is fun except for Sappers, IMO.

I missed this... my husband wanted to watch fireworks.

Least Favorite: Malta Sappers - massive endurance drain, mez, fly - lousy xp. Lots of annoyance in a tiny package. They don't even look cool like their Gunslinger and Titan buddies do.

Most Favorite Annoying Mob: Vanguard Sword - Sure they're nasty, but they're fun. They've got "cool" tattooed on their forearms.

I can't believe no one pointed out Sappers that fly. That didn't always do that.

One day they just... did. Tab tab tab no sappers, what - what? It was up by the ceiling of course.

How long did that take?

Will you respond to PMs asking for suggestions to improve an arc?

I have a team/solo build on my Rad/Rad Defender.

I am going to make a Widow/Fortunata build on my Widow.

I just got mapservered. The Server Status page shows all the servers up. Attempting to log in gets me as far as the Server screen then I get the error "Can't connect to DBServer".

I don't think the emergency maintenance fixed the stability issues. Something is wonky.

There's a scroll bar.
