I hear Protector TFs is still active, though I don't have room to get on it and check.

Also, there's a rumor that the /Chan_Timeout command is now working. I would say that it doesn't really apply to any of the Protector channels, since there isn't one that I know of that gets near the member limit (2,500, I believe), but I just thought I'd mention it.

One thing to take note of. The Kismet +tohit will only take affect after you use the power and for 120 seconds afterwards. If you can find a toggle or auto power to put it in, it will be on constantly while the power is on. Hover and Combat Jumping are often good places to put it.

The KB protection is a global, and will be on as long as you don't exemp more than 3 levels below the level of the IO.

You've been lied to. No critter has a better chance than any other of the same level. A boss has a higher chance of a drop than a lieutenant, which has a higher chance than a minion, but beyond that, a BP has the same chance as a Carnie which has the same chance as a Council.

Foxtrot and X-ray in the FBZ are also good spots.

I and some others just took down Lusca and Kraken.

Another hint, join some of the global channels listed in the sticked thread above. Both these fights were announced in Jello Shooters, Protector Watch, and/or Protector Vigilance.

Make sure you have the Hero Zone Event Message channel on one of your tabs. Or even put it on a separate tab. That will tell you when most GMs pop up.

Start with the guides in the stickied thread at the top of this section of the forums.

A good starting price is usually about 25% less than the average of the last 5 bids. But it also helps to check what the vendor price might be. You can use the Paragon Wiki for that. For example, a level 50 generic Accuracy recipe will sell to vendor for 113,650, but you'll get less than that if you go by the last 5 sales in the market. On the other hand, it will sell for more if you're a bit patient.
