It really does look interesting and the style of the game is attractive.
But in my case, I barely have time to spend in CoH, so... dunno. Heck - I still haven't completed Mass Effect or Gears of War - the originals.

The game looks pretty awesome. I've been interested in it since last years E3. A couple of months ago i spend a good 2 hours with my bro watching the video Dev Diaries. It has the potential to be a very cool game. Even outside of the Cops Vs Robbers aspect of it, people can make in game iteams like music and clothing and sell it in game. you don't even really need to take part in the other half of the game. I mentioned in another thread i'm very interested to see how their payment plan works out. If it works out for them i could see it moving to other games. And if you don't know you can think of their payment plan like a Go Phone or whatever carrier you want to think of, you pay for X amount of time and you get all the features of the game if you find yourself playing all the time you can spend $3 more and get unlimited 30 days.

It looks awesome, but my computer can barely handle Ultra Mode without dropping to single digit FPS. APB would leave it broken and bleeding in a back alley somewhere without it's wallet.

I do like the prospect of an almost constant PvP environment, though. Food for thought, I suppose.
For those who're interested but as yet undecided about APB...
Might be worth your while to keep tabs on what they have to say about it over at Metacritic. They have not, as yet, reviewed APB, but they are tracking it. As more reviews and info becomes available, they should update the linked page.
While I'm not a huge fan of following critics' reviews for games, Metacritic gives you a pretty good feel for the general attitude toward a game, movie, etc in the form of averages.
It looks good, but I'm still kicking myself for getting ripped off with Crimecraft. If it gets great reviews or has some sort of trial/f2p model will give it a whirl.

I've been reading Metacritic for awhile now and I've yet to find anything that scored very high or very low that I seriously disagreed with their overall score. So, like I said previously, if their score for APB (when they have reviews to calculate a score) is high, low, or somewhere in between, that'll be a helpful indicator for those folks who are as yet undecided about trying out the game.
I've been in APB beta since it launched. (Actually, I was so sick of the game I asked to be removed.) If you like Grand Theft Auto and having a lot of people that are l33t, then this is your game.
As much as I like GTA, and basically this is just a jacked up version... if the people I ran into on Beta are any indicator of the type of people playing, I'm not even going to consider a subscription.

It was made by the original creator(s) of GTA. I tried to get beta access but never got an e-mail ='(. I hope they do like a free weekend or something trhough steam, at least to try it out.
