From the Patch Notes
"Players who possess Hero or Villain specific accolade powers will now automatically be granted the other side's corresponding badge and accolade power when they switch sides. Only one side's accolade powers are enabled at any one time."
Also, you can't necessarily get all the badges. For example, the respec badges are tied to taking the respec reward. If you've already gained all 3 hero respec badges, you can't gain the villain ones. -
Quote:Odds are that they were PvP IO farmers rather than PvPrs.On another note, there was some PvP going on in the Warburg durring one of my runs, but no one griefed me, which was both surprising and gratifying. Are the PvPr's always this nice on Protector these days?
Oh yeah, Geek has nukes and HVAS at the ready. -
No problem here using Opera. Just tested it out in Firefox and it doesn't look like a problem there, though I now know I don't like the way they handle feeds.

There's no mention of the new slash commands (/TTL, /TLL, /PriorityBoost, etc) or the right click->chat to team leader. There's no mention of the new critters (Girlfriend From Hell, Super Stunner, Diseased Abomination, etc). There's no mention of the change to Mystic Fortune. The patch notes are missing a lot of things.
Zombie Man made a list of some of the missing notes, pre-I18. Some of them finally made it into the list, but not all. -

Are you sure you're not seeing the combat pets? There's 2 different colors of each of those.

But going directly by that guide, you wouldn't learn about the Access Bypass salvage and the option to cut down on the amount of lab techs you need to rescue. The salvage is expensive on the market, but if you have the money to spare, it can be useful.

Personally, I use Defraggler to defrag just the CoH files after a patch, when I don't feel like waiting for an entire disk defrag. There are plenty of other defrag utilities that will defrag individual files or directories.

Then there's always fun things like Increase Density, which partially stacks (Mezz protection) and partially doesn't stack (Damage Resistance).

StarGeek is full villain and has Bio and Chem nuke ready.

As said, a redname response is unlikely, since this is the "Players helping players find information related to CoH/CoV" section of the board. Red name posts are extremely rare here.
One thing you can look into is a VPN service. I've used VyprVPN to good effect.
The one problem is that not all free wi-fi spots will let it pass through. -
High Beam's Flashback Badging Guide (Hero) still works quite well, as long as you read the thread to the end.
Three good changes off of the original
lvl 25-29 : Origin of Power (shows up under lvl 45-50, must be level 50 to run)
lvl 30-34 : Hatred's Hungry Heart
lvl 40-44 : The Future Threat (shorter than Division Line, but it's vs Malta) -

Quote:Huh? What powers are getting toggled off? I'm standing here in WW and none of my toggles are dropping.Okay, is there some way to implement power suppression so that it's actually JUST suppressing powers NOT SWITCHING THEM OFF?
Sorry! I'm getting mightily annoyed at hitting the trading house (or another suppression site) then coming out and having to waste time turning all my toggles back on again. -
The turnout was too low this week, but that's pretty much standard right after a new issue.

Quote:No, it will not kick you from the SG. Read the in game help under the tips menu. Read the patch notes.you get kicked from your sg/vg once you completely cross, aka villain to rogue or hero to vigilante will not kick you, but rogue to hero or vigilante to villain will, you also get a pop up message before hand telling you it will kick you and someone else will be promoted to leader if you hold that seat, don't know about prestige
