I'm not a red name and you might be waiting a long time for a red to respond since they will most likely just skim your title and not read the post itself. But I've been here awhile and no there is nothing extra beyond your user name and password. It's one of the reason that they suggest your forum ID/Global chat be different from your login.

As said, a redname response is unlikely, since this is the "Players helping players find information related to CoH/CoV" section of the board. Red name posts are extremely rare here.
One thing you can look into is a VPN service. I've used VyprVPN to good effect.
The one problem is that not all free wi-fi spots will let it pass through.

The only thing I wanted to know was that there's some method used to prevent someone from scooping up my name and password during login when I'm using wireless or otherwise on the road and it appears there is.
