Quote:For most drops (recipes, enhancements, salvage), the level you fight at does not affect the chance of a drop. For shards, since you have to be fighting an even con or better, the -1 level will affect the drops. But since +0 is the minimum setting on a task force, the level setting won't affect shard drops on a task force.http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Notoriety. I still wish I had a clear understanding of these specific settings and how drops are affected:
The number of heroes/villains setting will affect the number of drops, but only because it will increase the number and rank (minon, lieut, boss) of enemies you fight. Because you would be fighting more and higher rank enemies, you'll have more drops. -
One bit of advice is not to try and craft what's cheapest (unless you have tons of money to blow). For example, the Sniper badge requires you to craft 11 level 35 and 11 level 40 Recharge or Interrupt IOs. The Interrupt recipes are cheaper to buy, but you are unlikely to be able to sell the finished IO. The recharge recipes cost more, but it's possible to sell them pretty easily, often at a big profit (comparatively speaking).

I just did a Morty SF this morning and received my Notice of the Well. You do need to make sure and not quit before the leader (or anyone?) returns to talk to Morty. The SF doesn't end with defeating Positron.

The Wiki page has more info under the details section.

I had gotten quite a few level 9-10 SO during one of the invasions. They sold for only a little (5-10k each) but they did sell within a day and for more than the vendors would give.

Quote:Well, to be honest I cheated a bit and bought them on the run with the /AuctionHouse vet command. I spiked EoE prices up to a couple million each there for a bit. When I checked after we finished, the prices had dropped to 25kSpecial thanks go to @Stargeek for some excellent tanking (and bringing EoEs for the Hami mission)
.
And I'm going to do my darnedest to be there next week if it's a master run. That Barracuda master badge has eluded me for far too long. -
Quote:Kult runs WST on Mondays. See Last Chance with Kult! Are you doing the WST every week, or is this list organized in another way? If it's WST runs I would love to join the next one.

I should be there.
I already tried out the surge on another server and the server side lag was terrible. I'll probably join in the fight until you're ready to run the TF. -
Quote:A lot of the time, this.No no. It's players who want to pimp out as quickly as possible and get back into the action.
Usually, I'll take the time and build my own. But sometimes I'll pop over to play with some friends on Virtue (not my home server) and since I don't play there a lot, I'll just dump money to get my guy up to speed as quickly as possible. -
See Dispari's All About Incarnate (Alpha through Destiny). You have to scroll down a ways to get to the lore stuff, but there are screen shots of the pet's abilities there.

Consider interest drummed up here as well.

Just a guess, but maybe it was going to award you a temp power that you already had?

Go to AE building, run a few missions, buy needed uncommon or roll random common until you get what you need. Sell excess circuit boards for 100k+. Profit!

Quote:As long as it is a Game Card, then yes, it will upgrade your trial to a full account. If it just a Time Card then no, you won't be able to play the game after the trial runs out.So from what i am getting if i would apply a game card to upgrade my account i get all the city of heroes content,
You still need to buy Going Rogue in order to play Praetorian and Incarnate stuff. If you make a Praetorian under the trial time, you won't be able to play that character without GR after the trial ends. -
See the How to silence specific game sounds thread. Then, see this post for the exact sound you want to silence.

Quote:Yeah, not like anyone would notice the difference (kidding of course).Whee!!!! Stargeek said I could leech! Awesome!
Wait. What's different than any other trial or Task Force???
Maybe leech isn't the best term, since the warehouse and training facility are basically run with little to no experience gain anyway. -
Also remember you're fighting +4s here. Until you get your level and incarnate shifts, you should be fighting from range. Get to know your powers. Choking Cloud for example, will barely affect +4, maybe a second or two of hold at the most.
Print out the lambda sector map and basically just leech during the warehouse and training facility parts until you memorize the path. Once you can keep up with the speed runners on that part it becomes a lot less painful.
