Quote:I will say that this is a pretty big mistake right there. You don't have to interact much, just check to see if there's any bids on an item and put it up for 1 infl if there are. Some things you will make a little less than what you would get selling to the stores, but a lot of things you will get quite a bit more. For example, Alchemical Silver will sell to the store for only 250 infl, but you can get a couple hundred thousand for it on the market.Let's also say that I'll sell what drops to stores (or perhaps use them), but won't interact with the auction house at all. (I might, but I'd rather estimate low.)
Quote:A friend of mine and I are going to be starting in Praetoria, so I can't even transfer inf to our new characters. So I just want an idea of a baseline ballpark of what to expect.
If that is your global, check your email, I sent you a startup fund for you and your friend that should cover all DO and SO purchases. -
Quote:If you want info the wiki is an excellent resouce (note, use this link and do NOT use the wikia one):

Quote:Just FYI, they do stack. There's no reason not to go ahead and click them all and all the other vet rewards (except base items which won't go away).(The ones you have to click to unlock and that don't stack if you click more than one, I think. It's been a while since I used one).
Here's an old image, but I had 1 freespec, 3 respecs from trials and I went and claimed 4 vet respecs for 8 total. Here's the conversation that started it.

Glad to hear it wasn't just me. I could hit other sites just fine but anything CoH, nada.

Quote:Well, since he's looking for the arc through Ouroborus, he won't be able to get it from Tobias in Striga. Additional, the Ouro mission listing doesn't list the names of the contacts.Since I don't use or care for wiki's, the answer is Tobias Hansen in Striga
The arc is in the Level 25-29 section, under the name Return to Vampyr Mountain.
One additional note, gaining the whistle through Ouro will only get you a shadow power if you previously acquired it. It will only have 2 charges instead of 5. -
Maybe check out Khan Academy (physics section) and see if they have a video that covers the subject. A great free learning resource.

I'll agree with this. I went with 8 points on my fire tank and didn't notice any difference between this and the 4 points I had on my squishies. I upped it to 12 after a respec and the very few KB attacks that did affect him (RWZ Pylons, Jack in Irons, Nemesis Staff blasts) stopped doing so.

Also see the Arachnos Soldier->Costumes wiki page.

Best place to look around and ask would be in the Controller forum.

The original poster seemed to think this was the WoW boards where such posts are acceptable. The resonders realized this and tried their hardest to make him feel at home.

Quote:It's been since I13 (wiki known issue page). So it has occurred to me for probably the past 3 or 4 issues, that the mastermind pet emotes are broken, at least for me. I cant do any emotes at all with any of my mastermind pets other than the first MM I made, who Ive had since before issue 10.
The problem is that the text parser used in the game was changed back then and the Greater and Lesser Than ( <>) symbols get translated to html entities. -
No problem binding them here. Are you using the full name of the power to bind with?
For example, my quick tests, which all worked:
/bind numpad0 PowExecName void radial final judgement
/bind numpad0 PowExecname Seers Partial Radial Improved Ally
/bind numpad0 PowExecname IDF Partial Core Improved Ally
/bind numpad0 PowExecname Barrier Total Core Invocation -
You have to talk to your contact to regain them. When you change sides, you don't lose them, they are treated as if you abandoned them (clicked the "Abandon mission" button). The downside is that if the actual mission has changed since you originally picked them up, you won't be able to get the old version, just the new one. For example, if you had a character that still had the old, untimed wolf mission, it's gone.

Quote:I'm trying to figure out what VC means by this. At first I thought it meant the status bar (hit points, end, level, xp circle, etc), but then I realized that the level number wasn't added until much later. This image from the wiki shows that it didn't show level until at least some time after 2009 (the year it was uploaded)I haven't played since 2007 or so, though on my mastermind I use to heal myself clicking my level icon.

It looks like there's already a thread.

As a workaround, once you get your tabs set up right, type /ChatSave. Then, next time you delete it by mistake, you can type /ChatLoad to fix it. I think there's a save/load button for the chat window in the options as well.
As for changing the chat right click function, it might also be possible to do it similar to the way people can change the quick chat and the help data. Now I just have to find those two threads for you. I just read them.
edit: Here's one Customizing the Help Menu. You might be able to use that technique to change the function without actually editing the game file. -
Sorry I can't help your question, but the standard response to this is that this section is "Players helping players find information related to CoH/CoV." Devs rarely respond here. If you need a dev response, you have a better chance of getting a response by PM'ing them.

Quote:I've been playing since May 04, after playing Everquest in which you could target yourself to use spells. Not being able to target myself was a big shift in thinking on how to play. The ability to target yourself has never been in the game, bug or otherwise and certainly not for months stretching from 06-07.I didn't misread or assume anything, I KNOW I was doing this from 06-07. If it was some bug or something then alright I wont complain. If its how it is great so no issue there.
At my best guess, I'd say you're remembering using Respites and other healing inspirations

Quote:The game has never allowed you to target yourself. There have been powers you could use to heal yourself (Aid Self), or heal yourself and others at the same time (Healing Aura and many other powers), but never something that would normally target other players and be able to target yourself and use it.I haven't played since 2007 or so, though on my mastermind I use to heal myself clicking my level icon. Though, it isn't allowing me to do that anymore. So I've been trying to find away to target myself and at best I've come up with...

The item you're remembering is under the Team tab. The LFG tab is new and has to do with the Incarnate trials, not looking for groups for missions or task forces.
